EXTREMELY BAD SERVICE!!!\r I brought my 42"" riding lawnmower in for repairs and asked for an estimate first. I was told that it would be 2 weeks for the estimate. I did not hear from them after 2 weeks and called. I was told they had not gotten to it yet. I called the third week and they had still not started on an estimate. And on the fourth week they still had not done the estimate. I stressed the importance of needing my lawnmower and explained that I had paid to have my lawn mowed because they still had my mower. I was told they were having employee problems. At this point I was very frustrated and told the woman on the phone to forget the estimate and to repair the mower but not to exceed $300. Two days later I receive a call saying the repairs on my mower are finished. I asked what the final cost was and was told it was $417. I told the person that this was not what we had agreed on and they got mad and hung up on me. Later I went to the shop and spoke to a person whom told me that they were not told about the $300 limit and they may have made a mistake and still insisted that I pay the full amount. I offered to split the difference of the overage and they said NO WAY.\r I later called the shop and asked for a refund for the estimate that I had prepaid for and never received. They said they would not give me a refund.\r I no longer have my lawnmower and I have seen it posted on Craigs list for sale.\r I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP!\r more

I can't believe this place is still in Business. I Brought my Pressure washer in & Put $40.00 down.the motor needed to be cleaned. The guy working there quoted me $150.00 - the $40.00, they had it for over a month, then the owner called me and said the guy who quoted me was not working there any more. and the price would be over $300.00! I said that was B.S He said if i didn't like it he was gonna sell it and hung up on me. I looked at new pressure washers and they are a lot cheaper bran new. mine was only a year old and used one time.so now he owns my pressure washer because i will not pay over $300.00 plus the $40.00 to get it back. I got robed by a guy who is in business and is getting away with ripping people off. when i talked to him on the phone I said that's not what you quoted me he said that is what i have written down. so i guess he can just write down anything he wants and that's the way it goes. he has lost me and my neighbors and friends as customers. more

Ripoff! I have been purchasing parts there and recommending it for three years. This was my first time to have any work done. I took in my echo weed whacker 7/11 and was told it would be two weeks. I called 7/29 and was told they hadn't touched it yet and it would be at least another two weeks. I asked if I could come in and pick it up and get my $40 refunded and was told I could. They called me back @ 30 minutes later and said it had been completed. Surprised I asked if they could have done all I asked in such a short time. Of course they could. I went down to pick it up and was told no parts replaced (tuneup requested along with fuel lines that leaked) but over the phone he said the carb was overhauled. I asked for used parts and he admitted he replaced no parts but one 6"" fuel line with grommet from filter to carb. Totaled at $96 for basically nothing. When I complained he said the bottom line was I asked for a tuneup and that is what I got. Never going b ack there again and will tell all the people I ahve directed there the same. AVOID this place. more

Be very wary of this business.\r \r I took my lawnmower in for a carbeurator repair and was told it would be approx. $75 to repair. The gal who helped me asked if I would like a tune up too and I declined as I had just replaced some of the parts.\r \r When I showed up to pick up the lawnmower, the bill was almost twice the quoted amount. They basically did the stuff I said ""no"" to. My problem was, I didn't have a copy of the paperwork. Once I got the lawnmower home, I checked the blades as that was one of the items listed (sharpening) and the blades hadn't been touched. All of this after waiting two weeks to get the machine back.\r \r This place is close to my home so is convenient, but will never step foot in there again. more

Horable experience. Do Not use them 1/4/2011

Horrible experience. I took in a craftsman shredder with a 8 hp engine needing a tune up. They promised two week and after a month I called them and they hadn't started. \r \r A week later they completed the job and exceeded the $65 limit written on the contract. When I told them I wasn't happy and would consider my options before picking it up they sold it just one week later.\r \r When I arrived to pick it up not realizing they sold they said so sorry there is nothing we can do. The chipper shredder was worth $150 and it's gone and I have nothing.\r \r more

Poor customer service with even worse results 10/29/2010

Since the name change from Parrots this firms customer service has greatly faltered. My latest visit was my final. I was assured my mower would be completed by Thursday 10/28 at the lastest. I called Wednesday to check status. I was assured they were starting it that afternoon and it would be ready for pick up at some point Thursday. Thursday I heard nothing. Friday I called to check status and was met with a very rude female that said they were runnign behind. I explained that I had already been told they were working on my mower and it was supposed to have been completed Thursday. She then proceeded to argue that it was Thursday and they would call when it was done. Thursday? I asked her to double check because I was pretty sure that it was Friday. She continued to argue that it was only Thursday. I asked her to please check for the real staus on my mower and to let me know when it would really be completed. She hung up on me.\r \r I drove down to their location to pick up my mower only to be met with a long wait, dirty looks from the tech and a damaged mower. My mower had not only been left out in the rain for over a week but had piece of plastic broken off the engine cover. When I asked what happened the tech just walked off.\r \r Needless to say I will not be recommending this firm. more
