To be a ciompany with a previous excellent rating it is gone down. Service is very poor.

WARNING THEIR IS NO INTELLEGENT LIFE DOWN AT NORMAN'S ELECTRONICS!!! They have rude and dangerous (so called techs) at that place. One (so called man) I had the pleasure of having the sheriff escort off my place when he got nasty mouthed when he damaged my new TV, left exposed wires, put the TV back together with the same part he came to replace, and I ask him why. He broke my storm door on his way out when I told him to leave! I called Brands Mart (where I bought it) They were very helpful in putting me in touch with another repair place (Thank You Brands Mart), with whom I think is very nice people, Eddies Electronics in Marietta, If you need dependable & courteous service! NORMANS I was told is on the way out of business! DO NOT TAK YOUR TRICYCLE THERE!!!WARNING WARNING!!!!!THERE IS NO INTELLIGENT LIFE THERE Mr. A Byess of Woodstock more

The technician they sent was rude and misdiagnosed the problem with my Mitsubishi TV. I even had to call the technician back after he left to come back and reattach the cables from my TV to the DVD player, sound system and cable box. I ended up ordering the wrong part which I am still stuck with. After we put it in, the TV still had the same problem. He did not even do the inital step of getting the error code from the front of the TV. My brother came over after the technician gave his diagnosis and after I had paid for the part ,and he said the error code mentioned something wrong that the technician never even mentioned. I'm out over $300, and if I had continued trying to fix the TV, there is no telling how much I would have spent and still not have a working TV. From now on, if a TV goes out, I'm going to serioulsy consider tossing it out for the trash immediately rather than go through the hassle and waiting time for a TV that works. more

Some people expect the impossible when it comes to service! Take for example....""Ken M"". I have been dealing with Norman's for over 30 years and have never experienced the kind of service ""Ken M"" describes! Perhaps you are a competitor looking to slander one of the best service companies Atlanta has to offer?\r \r There are so many people who receive customer communications every day at NEI, it would be impossible for your concerns to go un-noticed for the period of time you suggest. more

Do not use this company! They have had my tv for 2 1/2 months. They lost it for a while. They then lost my mounting brackets. They get angry and rude with the customer. They transfer you to dead phones and then do not answer the phone. I am not sure if I ever will get my belongings back. I am about to turn it over to my legal counsel. more

Great Service & Great Price 6/29/2011

I had a problem with my TV & many suggested I just trash it & buy a new one. I contacted Norman's Electronics & they were able to fix the TV at a very reasonable price. Lastly they gave me this great service & they came to me to fix the TV. more

Excellent in home service repair 1/19/2011

I was hesitate to call Norman's after reading the reviews as well but I have a contract and was referred to them. The tech called me the night before and told me the time he was coming which worked into my schedule as well. He arrived at the time we scheduled. He was very thorough, knowledgeable and fixed my tv with no complaints. Thank you Norman's for sending your tech Corey Smith to my house. I recommend you give Norman's a try. Kay. more

Would recommend them to anyone! 11/14/2010

After reading some review others had posted about Normans I was wary of using them but they were close to my house and I knew they had been around for a long time so I called them to repair a lcd tv in my home. They called to schedule and showed when they said they would. The technician knew right away what was wrong with my tv and fixed it the same day!! I would recommend them to anyone that needs some in home repair done. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional! more

I would not recommend Norman's electronics to anyone, and I do mean nobody. I have been waiting since August 5th.2010 to get my microwave repaired.I have taken off from work on three different occasions for. Servive repair and as of this date the repair hasn't been completed. Their customer service is the poorest and worst in the country I believe. They Won't even consider no conpensation for your time and trouble. I warn all consumers to be aware of this ill will company. more

Bait and Switch Scam Artists 7/23/2010

I had called about a specific job on an old cassette deck and after being quoted a price over the phone, I brought it in and as soon as I put it down told them what I wanted and how much I was quoted the SCAM started. The price started going up without even looking at the unit. Useless and wastefull of customers time. Pros: Can't think of any Cons: Miss quoted prices, terrible customer service, and rude more

Called the dealer who sold us a TV set to report a failure. They contacted Norman's Electronics. Norman's contacted us and arranged a service technician's appointment. The service technician, Gene, called us to tell us when he'd be at our house. We found the Norman'a technician, Gene, to be prompt, personable, polite, knowledgeable, efficient and above all professional. We explained our problem, Gene diagnosed the cause of the problem, repaired the TV set and was on his way - all of this in about thirty minutes. Great Job! We will certainly use their service in the future and will recoommend Norman's to others. Pros: Great Electronics service more
