Best

Yes, their customer service is in India and just terrible. For a month, we were given the same runaround over the phone as anybody else. But we were lucky enough to live a driva...

Worst

I agree with all previous comments made about Nissans customer service in India. I dont blame them as they are outsourced, contracted company told little about the company they do...

Can't ever find anyone 9/8/2009

Can't ever get through to anyone for any reason. India customer service is a joke. Texas office isn't better but at least they speak English. Great car - terrible customer support. Cons: Terrible customer service more

HORRIBLE 8/13/2009

I have had the worst experience paying off my vehicle with Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp. You send your payoff check to Texas but, your title is in California and customer service is in India therefore they can't help you with anything. They pretty much tell you whatever they think will get you off the phone and I think they get a fee taken out of their pay check if they transfer you to a supervisor because no matter how many times you ask to speak with a supervisor they will ignore you and try to answer you question/problem. They will tell you one thing and then turn around and say something that is the complete opposite of what they just said (e.g. your title can not be sent via Fedex only regular mail, then after I already sent my payment, your title can only be overnighted via Fedex if you send a letter with your final payment). I am an easy going person but when you tell me that if I send certified funds via fedex priority overnight that it will be processed in one business day and it is now the fourth day and they haven't even mailed the title yet and they can't give me a reason why not it is extremely frustrating. The absolute worst experience!!! Pros: Don't have to wait long to speak to Customer Service Cons: Customer Service can't help you do anything more

Nissan's tactics 8/6/2009

I leased a vehicle from Nissan, was behind no more than two months on my payment. They repossessed my vehicle!!! What are my options? They never informed me of this, and I thought 90 days or longer was the norm instead of the exception!!! To top it off, had to have a cosigner, they are strong arming the cosigner for the difference of the vehicle's price after they wholesaled the thing. I was told since it was within the year of my original lease, they could get their money up front then press legal papers to get the money from me for the rest!!! What arrogance. After owning a Nissan/Infiniti for 20 yrs, that is how the treat customers!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!! With the economy in its' sad state, and the automotive business having a tough time, one would think this company would be a little understanding. NEVER FINANCE THROUGH THESE BONEHEADS! more

Do NOT finance with NMAC!!! 5/28/2009

Do NOT finance your vehicle (or anything else, for that matter) with NMAC!!! I financed a vehicle with NMAC in 2004 and now, 5 years later, it is next to impossible to pay it off and get my title back. I moved to a new location 9 months ago and at that time, I updated my address with NMAC. Since that time, I have received all my statements at my new address, and when I call their customer service line and am asked to verify my address I give my new address and it is accepted. HOWEVER, I recently sent a certified check to pay off the remaining balance of my loan. I sent a certified check because I was told that was the ONLY way to get them to release the title without waiting 10 full days for a personal check to clear. So, I spent the $18 fee to get a certified check, and I sent it certified mail, so I know that it arrived on 5/13. Well, today is 5/28, and still no title. So I called today, and was told that the title was mailed to my previous address, in a completely different town (the one I changed 9 months ago). When I asked what they were planning to do about this, they informed me that I should call back in a week and ask if the title had been returned to them. They would not call me if it was returned, they would simply keep it. Cause that's legal, right?? So, there apparently are no other options but to simply wait and see if it turns up here or there. Even at that point, they weren't able to tell me what I could do. So much for sending a certified check via certified mail for safety. Now an important legal document pertaining to the ownership of the largest investment I've ever made in my young life is floating around God knows where, and there's nothing I can do about it. As an added annoyance, their customer service stinks. If you call their customer service line, you can only talk to people in India who give you fake names and know a limited number of English phrases. They also have a huge tendency to interrupt and speak over you, and if you happen to ask a question that is outside their training manual, you get silence. I asked to speak to supervisors and got the same thing-- i think they just passed me down the line. Bottom line, AVOID NMAC AT ANY COST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cons: NO customer service, incompetent actions more
