I LOVE Nine75~ Thanks to the new ownership for coming in and saving such a fantastic place. Parking is easy, the crowds are hip and fun, and the menu is very creative and delici...

Worst

Had we paid half the price for the food we may have gone back. The fried chicken was basically chicken fingers at about $16, and the meatloaf, though good, was worth $7 not $14. T...

Sadly they closed but they had a great menu and happy hour. T00 many restaurants have closed in Denver! 10/5/2008

I drove by today and was thinking about meeting someone later in the week at nine 75. Super menu in the back for happy hour. Nice healthy food that wasn't your typical bar food. Just nicely done. \r \r The restaurant was super too. I'm sad so many Denver restaurants are closing. Sparrow, Wolfie's, Palomino.........Bummer. \r \r Good bye Nine 75. \r \r more

****OUT OF BUSINESS, Thank God!!!**** 10/3/2008

Horrible place, gave Denver a bad name. Please remove this from your directory. Or just click on the website link and you will see they are gone. more

Awesome food and service 6/15/2008

The studio where I take pole dancing recommended this restaurant for larger groups. They refer a lot of bachelorette parties to this restaurant and I can see why! My friends and I threw a surprise birthday party/dinner event for a friend of ours who was turning 30! Not only was the staff accommodating in terms of catering large plates of appetizers and main courses for us to divide, but they offered us a few different options in terms of where we could dine and possible menus. Everyone in our large group of 12 had a very enjoyable experience. Great food, ambience, and staff! Very fun atmosphere. more

Awesome atmosphere 5/16/2008

I am normally not one to go for anything fancier than a diver bar, but this is by far and away one of the coolest places to go for awesome food and fun people of a wide variety. The staff is humorous and efficient. The food is AMAZING!!! Many complain it's over-priced, but I figure it's right on par for the type and quality of the food itself. My favorite thing about Nine75 is by far and away how relaxed and helpful the staff is. Anytime that I need something it seems like someone is right there and anytime that I have a question they never make me feel silly for asking. I find that rare in many places of the same caliber. If you aren't ready to shell out a bit more money than your local hole in the wall, don't go here cause you're cheap. I personally think that the atmosphere makes the extra money worth it. Pros: great food and staff Cons: finding parking on the weekends more

check it out yo!!!! 5/16/2008

Hottest spot in Denver! 5/14/2008

Nine75 is an amazing restaurant that provides an experience that is gastronomical to say the least... From the hostess to the wait staff everything was finely tuned. I had the mango mojito which was quite simply the best mojito I've ever had. The miso black cod is a must have with it's velvety sauce that melts in your mouth. One other nice thing that Nine75 is doing is a promotional wine discount that gives you half off every Wednesday! Pros: The food, staff and ambiance. more

THIS PLACE ROCKS 5/13/2008

So we show up on Monday night not knowing what to expect from our first experience at NINE75. We had heard ALOT of good things about the food, service and ambiance, but in person it was even better. We started off with a few drinks from the bar area (I had a great Mango Mojito (one of their signature drinks!!) and Bobby had what he called ""the best"" APPLETINI he had ever tasted) We had some of the EDAMAME and contemplated just eating our whole meal in the bar (you can have a full dinner back there and they have great comfy seats, couches, and other nooks and crannies to get away from it all !!) but alas, we decided to give the whole restaurant a try and we made out way up front to the dining room for our meal. Our server was extremely personable and really cool, he talked to us like human beings and gave us great recommendations on the bottle of wine we ended up choosing (Far Niente Cabernet, sorry he told us it was the last bottle!!! but it was so amazing!) and all of our food choices we went on were all recommendations that proved to be out of this world. The food there is so good, ""comfort food with a twist"", I think, was there slogan and it rang true for almost everything that we had. The Sushi was better than at most sushi restaurants that I have eaten in, and the GARLIC ROASTED RIBEYE that I had was to die for and Bobby stuck to eating small plates (sushi, calamari, lobster taco's and asparagus (it had truffle oil on it people!!!) and was ecstatic about it all. All in all it was one of the best dining experiences I have had in Denver and will be back again and again. Thanks to everyone there that made this night an enjoyable experience for the 2 of us. A+++++ more

great drinks, even better food! 5/10/2008

having just moved back to Denver, I was happy to find Nine 75!\r \r from the hip decor to the rock music and the quirky food, I knew I was in for a treat. Service was attentive and personal even though the restaurant was packed, we were lucky enough to snag a table even though we forgot to make a reservation. \r \r Kudos to those at Nine 75 for offering a unique dining experience amidst the long line of bland and boring eateries that make up much of the Denver landscape...will be back, promise! Pros: Service, Food Cons: can get loud but we knew that going in... more

Happy Hour drinks all night long!! 5/9/2008

I just moved back to Capital Hill and found a dining goldmine! My friends and I went into nine75 last night for a birthday and were blown away! I can't believe it was our first time there!! We sat in the dining room for dinner- the food and the service was unparalleled! The servers- which were all fine looking men- I might add- were spreading good energy all over the floor! The martinis were fantastic and the small plates were perfect for sharing! We had our fill and made our way back to the swanky lounge area- They offer Happy Hour drinks all night on Thursdays!! What a cool setting with ambiant lighting and low leather couches- such a great atmosphere!! We will definitely be back ( on Thursdays) ! more

Great Dinner 5/7/2008

Poor food and worse service 5/5/2008

Based on its prices and chic image, I expected this place to have excellent food and service. Though we had a dinner reservation several days in advance, my party was seated at a cocktail table in the bar area. We did not get menus until we asked for them, and then we were given two for a party of nine. Drinks were scarce. Finally, I could not get a glass of water to save my life. We had perhaps the most inattentive waiter I've ever seen. Refills on cocktails were few and far between, and every aspect of our service was abysmally poor. I do not exaggerate when I say that service is superior at any fast food restaurant, diner, Denny's or IHOP. \r \r With regard to the food, it varied from average to poor. When it FINALLY began to arrive, portions were small and loaded with filler (greens, rice, potatoes). Our calamari had very little actual calamari in it. It was more like a mixed green salad with a little squid on top. The spring roll was almost entirely rice with soy sauce on it - uninteresting and stupidly overpriced. The flank steak came in a tiny portion covered again with a pile of mixed baby greens. While some of the main dishes were actually hot, half of them arrived tepid. The $16 meatloaf was horribly overseasoned with salt. This situation was aggravated by the fact that my beer was gone and I couldn't get a glass of water. I am an excellent cook, and I have impeccable taste. The cooks in this place need to be replaced. They don't have a clue what they're doing. Again, the food really is better at any fast food place, etc. There you get what you pay for. \r \r The wine list was astronomically overpriced, with the wines I recognized marked up 350-400% over retail. Even in a restaurant this is ridiculous.\r \r To add insult to injury, there was a 20% tip added to our very large check rather than the customary 18%. Our server made over $30/hr. on our table alone doing next to nothing. \r \r This was one of the worst dining experiences ever. Don't go to this place. Pros: Nice decor Cons: Poor food and service, gouger pricing more

Poorest Service Ever, Average Food 5/5/2008

We had a group of nine and our server, Vince, obviously knew he was going to get the mandatory 20% gratuity. His service was the poorest I?ve ever experienced. The food was average, but arrived cold. We waited 20 minutes to get our drinks and Vince didn?t even get the order right so it was another 20 minutes to fix the drinks. We had placed a reservation and were sat at a table designed for drinks only. There were two people to a chair and the table was about 2 feet off the ground. I will never go back and will tell everyone I know not to visit. If they keep this type of service up I expect to see them out of business in a year or less. Pros: Nice Ambience Cons: Manditory Gratuity=Poor Service more

Just okay 3/31/2008

My husband and I went to Nine 75 to celebrate my birthday. It's definitely the ""hip"" place to be and not so great for a romantic dinner. Our booth was right across from a fairly disturbing portrait of Keith Richards, while perhaps a great piece of art (?) it's extremely unappetizing. The food was average. The chopped salad was fine but nothing unique or special about it. I ordered the buttermilk fried chicken and the best part of it was the mayonaise dipping sauce, other than that it didn't have much flavor. My husband enjoyed his dishes, a twice-baked potato and the lobster taco appetizer plate. The service was uninspired. When we first sat down, our plates and glasses were sticking to the table and there was dirt on my napkin. It took a while for someone to acknowledge our presence and then I was served the wrong drink.\r We had a pleasant enough time, but won't return and won't necessarily recommend it. I got the impression that the bar area in the back was the place to ""see and be seen"" and that some folks get a kick out of the communal table that looks right into the kitchen. So if that's what you're looking for then Nine 75 is it. more

Restaurant week - Average food, cool place 2/27/2008

The ambiance was hip, but the food failed to impress. The appetizer platter came with shrimp and mango sushi, duck spring rolls, and seafood tacos. The sushi had that grocery store old rice taste, the spring rolls tasted like they had been frozen, not prepared fresh, and the seafood tacos were a worse version of the delicious ones at Zengo. We thought the platters had likely been prepared in advance since everyone getting the restaurant week menu gets them, so maybe ours had been sitting around for a while. The mahi-mahi entree was the highlight of the meal; a fresh fillet, properly cooked, with julienned vegetables and a tasty asian sauce. The beef short ribs were good, but undistinguished. The desserts were their version of a twinkie and a s'more. The twinkie tasted basically like a twinkie, but with a richer filling. I thought it was terrible, but I guess some people like things like that. The s'more was good except for an overpowering taste of Hershey's chocolate sauce, which in my opinion doesn't belong at any high end restaurant. \r I think Nine 75 is a cross between Zengo and Ba ng!, but either of those are significantly better. Pros: Hip interior and location Cons: Average food more
