I've worked in the biz for many years, in every capacity from busser to manager. And this, to date, is my worst restaurant experience ever.\r
We heard nine75 was under new ownership and were excited to check it out, ""Comfort food with a rock 'n' roll twist"". \r
First, we sat down and ordered a bottle of wine and an appetizer, duck empanadas. The wine took 20 minutes, and the server did not open it correctly. \r
The appetizer never came.\r
Then we received our entrees, buttermilk fried chicken and waffles and artichoke and mushroom puff pastry. The chicken was drier than any\r
junky cafeteria's and the mushroom and artichoke puff pastry was just that. Mushrooms, artichokes, puff pastry, nothing else.\r
Where's the rock 'n' roll?\r
To cap off our evening, we decided to try dessert and give nine75 a chance to redeem itself. We ordered the Build you own cupcake and recieved a dry, out of the box, cake mix cupcake with a delicious chocolate covered GUMBALL on top? Gross. We also ordered the caramelized apple cobbler and recieved canned apples with cinnamon. No cobbler, no caramelized anything. Just canned apples with cinnamon.\r
There was a private event going on at the bar, trophy wives and the men who sleep with them. When the crowd of skanks emerged from the bar and were seated in the dining room, we didn't see our server again until he tossed us the bill 20 minutes after we finished dessert.\r
The final straw was when one of the guest's from the bar party wheeled a scooter through the restaurant with the headlight blinding us and beeping the horn. \r
What a lovely way to end the evening. \r
We will never, ever be back.
