My friend who is currently bartending was a student there and recommended the school. I learned alot of new things and got great time behind the bar!! I loved it when the liquor company came in and showed us different cocktails and business information. they offer unlimited refreshment classes. they have a friendly staff who cares. they offer a free class so you can try it before you register. i would defintely say to go to new york bartending school. more

amazing students! amazing teachers! 11/29/2010

Great! I have sat in on all the instructors classes since I needed a mixed schedule to take classes. I have work and school different days so I liked that I could take classes at different times it was very flexible. \r Every teacher is equally top notch and all had something different to offer! it was like a party everyday it was hilarious. This school has the best reputation in the city and I liked that they offer a free class so you can see if you like it. I'm working now at Shanghai Lounge and I am loving it. Thanks guys!! more

I had Joey as an instructor he's pretty great he made me feel very calm. Love the way he gave the information great! great! great! I chose the school because of the set up they have I loved the look of the school. Learning the drinks and the speed drills were fun. I was asked if the school was lacking in anything they ask everybody on graduation day for reviews about the school and I didn't think they missed anything everything was pretty good. The training bars are helpful and they sent me to some places hiring so I liked it and would recommend to anyone interested. more

great staff + instructors=amazing experience. 11/8/2010

My teacher Jaimie was absolutely amazing!!!and I truly learned so much from her. She explained all concepts in a way that made the material very easy to comprehend and there was alot of material to cover this school teaches you everything!!! I was excited to come back everyday and I'm actually sad it's over. I researched a couple of schools but this website looked the best and most informative, so I came in to check it out and I never second guessed my decision. After graduating I met with the counselor to get help with my resume and what to do next, how to interview and such. She helped me with my resume and gave me some information for some bars that were hiring. I showed up a lil early for an open call and met with the manager and thought the interview went pretty well and sure enough I got hired!!! Thanks so much you guys for all the training and tips you gave me. You guys are amazing and very helpful!! Come see me at snafu. more

Awesome Instructor! very knowledgable, went that extra mile with the whole class. Kept people motivated to learn. I'm doing a refresher like they offer you can go back when you need to. I worked at a few places and wanted to brush up on my skills and speed. The staff is very nice and genuinely care. I got the most bang for my buck with this school. I would absolutely recommend to anyone interested in taking bartending classes!!! more

Have you ever witnessed a prophet in human form? That is my instructor Gabe! ALL knowing. and ALL knowledgable in the bar industry. I can say I was definitely satisfied with my expereince at this school. My favorite experience was the liquor guest speakers and the owner is really cool. The staff rocks!!! more

Articulate, Humourous, High Caliber Staff!! 7/27/2010

Bryan was great. Articulate, well-paced, humorous, and kind. He made allowed for all my detailed questions, as well as he spoke to the business nature of the hospitality industry. BEST teacher EVER "crazyfunlicious" 6/17/2010

Allan is the best teacher ; informative he broke everything down from A to Z. While browsing bartending schools/classes, it didn't take long to realize this was the best. It's a certified school that provides top training and education, and I wouldn't want anything less than the best. My favorite part was pretty much the entire experience! I walked in knowing NOTHING about liquors and bartending and now I'm confident and knowledgeable about so much. I loved learning in a realistic atmosphere, music and all, with classmates I could have fun with and instructors that cared. The instructors aren't just teachers they are experienced bartenders that provided extremely useful advice and insight to the bartending industry, all while having fun! very awesome guys!! Pros: my fav experience was everything Cons: dont change anything more

I chose NY bartending because the testimonials on the website were very positive the facilities are clean and look like a real bar and most importantly I was treated like a person rather than a $$ with each employee i encountered. Forrest was outstanding. Allan was wonderful too..they have great personalities and are very knowledgeable as they have been in the bar biz 10+ years. I just want to say that I loved this school and I'm pretty sure that some of the bad reviews on here are from competitors. NY bartending asks it's students to leave reviews for them when we graduate that's why they have so many. Also when I went to check out other school's for information they talked badly about NY bartending school and tried to bully me into signing up. Even though the school costs a bit more than some I feel I got my moneys worth in training and job placement help. Pros: my coworker believed it to be one of the best schools more
