Very slick sales presentation to get me to join, assembly line training and no job as a result. the teachers are very into themselves and are more interested in hitting on students than helping them find work Pros: nice classroom Cons: too much $$, no job placement, too crowded more

I choose New York Bartending School because the website was well out and professional, the included lessons seemed much more thorough, and the feedback was positive on the internet. I really enjoyed doing speed drills in class, by the end of the first week I really knew what I was doing and realized I'd learned so much! Pros: extremely personable, helpful, great at nurturing different levels of ability more

Very comfortable! Very clear! Good Instructors + tons of practice + practical knowledge. I wanted the most information, both drinks and business information. I like that I can return to practice as many times as I want. more

After visiting (and attempting to visit) three other schools in the city it was obvious to me that NYBS is the only school offering an honest, professional approach to training bartenders. Pros: learning the history of spirits, beer, and wine more
