I feel confident now 6/17/2007

Instructor was witty,funny and informative and above all he made everyone feel comfortable. I had many recommendations and reviewed articles before picking this school. My favorite part was graduating I felt accomplished and went from knowing nothing to being confident. THANKS! more

My teacher was really great. He was enthusiastic and insightful, You can tell he knows what he's doing and has alot to teach. I enjoyed the speed tests and music that felt like a real bartending experience. Pros: cool atmosphere more

James is awesome.... Definately the coolest teacher I've ever had. I chose this school cause they looked the coolest. I loved learning how to make a Long Island ice tea since that's my favorite drink. more

I felt comfortable with NY Bartending as soon as I spole to the person over the phone. She was friendly and told me about her bartending experience. When I cam in to visit,there was NO pressure for me to sign up. Pros: meeting other aspiring bartenders, graduating is also a huge plus!!! more

My teacher was really patient, and informative. He took his time and went over several things I was having a hard time understanding. One of my favorite experiences here was making new friends and learning several drinks prep and garnishes etc. Pros: Fun time more

Of the 3 schools to which I inquired, they were the only one who picked up the phone. I asked my former boss (a restaurant/bar owner) and he recommended the school. Made this course a pleasure not a chore. The class atmosphere was straight-to-the-point, informative, fast-paced, amicable and organized. Pros: Awesome! more

overcrowded, overhyped, not worth the money 5/16/2007

Very slick sales presentation to get me to join, assembly line training and no job as a result. the teachers are very into themselves and are more interested in hitting on students than helping them find work Pros: nice classroom Cons: too much $$, no job placement, too crowded more
