Most Horrible Experience Ever. I have had some rather severe issues during my pregnancy and New West has treated me with the most horrible and disgraceful service. I will never go back and I urge every other individual to not waste their time. The people here don't care at all about their patients and they make you feel as though you are inconveniencing them every time you go in. Find somewhere that will actually service you with respect and timeliness. more

BRING A BOOK!! This office is never on time and their fifteen-minute check-in time is a joke. In the beginning I always showed up when they requested, but after countless times of sitting there for 20+ minutes I decided not to anymore. Today I showed up at my appointment time, not early, not late. Only to sit there for fifteen minutes and be told that I would have to wait 30 minutes to be seen since they had taken the later appointment back. Ridiculous! Whether you are early or on time do not expect to be seen on time. I once waited over 45 minutes (after checking in fifteen minutes prior to the appointment as asked) with a sick toddler only to be asked if I could wait another 20 minutes because they were behind. Additionally, they are so booked that my son only gets seen by his physician 50% of the time, he has to see other doctors. Today was the last straw I stormed out and will not be going back. I DO NOT recommend this office at all. more

My experience has never been one to brag about here. They are never on time and charge me a co-pay when it shouldnt be charged but they insisted. A NUMBER of months later I got a check in the mail reimbursing me. They are not helpful and never personal! . I would not recommend this doctors office at all! more

My experience with New West has been a frustrating one. The customer service has been absolutely terrible. I have had multiple office visits and several phone conversations with the staff regarding my health concerns and in every case I was treated like I was in their way. The office and medical staff have been unresponsive to my questions and concerns. I've spent most of my time waiting on them. It is sad to see such unprofessional behavior in a doctor's office staff. When you are sick, the last thing you need is to be treated poorly by people who are supposedly there to help! I have never written a review before, but I decided to this time because I have never received such terrible service and lack of care from anyone in the health care field. It was by far the worst experience I have had with any type of doctor's office and it has caused a lot of unnecessary stress and frustration in my life. more

All of these negative reviews must be some type of fabrication. I have been with New West Physicians for a very long time & love them like family. I don't have insurance and I could probably find cheaper clinics but I would rather pay out of pocket with my own money to stay with my doctors & nurses at New West Physician more

I should have read and listened to the other reviews. The office management is 100% incompetent. They scheduled a 7:45am appointment and when I got there told me they made a mistake and my appointment wasn't for another week. If it was a one-time issue I would say it was not such a big deal, but they seem to be clueless. I feel bad for the docs that lose patients due to HORRIBLE ADMIN. more

Dr. Bishop is the best PCP I have ever had but the office and admin. support at New West is the absolute worst. If it were not for Dr. Bishop I would have left this joke of a doctors office a long time ago. My rating; 5-stars for Dr. Bishop and below zero for the office staff. I just got off the phone with the office staff after trying to get a call back on 10-day old blood work. I was originally told the office would contact me in a few days, yeah right, it never happens. I always have to call and get pissed off at them before anyone gets off their ass to give me the info I need. This process usually takes about 2-days before anyone finally returns my calls. Hate to lose my doc but not sure how much more of this New West office BS I can take anymore. more

If I could give this office 0 stars, I would, but 1 is the lowest you can give. The schedulers in this office messed up my appointment, therefore, it was coded incorrectly, the doctor performed an ""office visit"" versus a ""routine exam"", and my insurance wouldn't cover the visit!! Fully the error on New West, but they would not refund my money. Also, I have been to this office 3 times for 3 different issues. The wait was an hour each time, and the doctors (had 3 different ones) talked with me for 5 minutes and then prescribed me a pill! Needless to say, the doctors simply prescribed a pill to mask my symptoms... they did not help me AT ALL. This is an AWFUL practice! Dr. Richardson is very kind, so are a couple of her colleagues, but before you ever reach them you have to rush a line of unhappy, bitter fullbacks, or as they call themselves, the office staff. After three years of visiting this practice, I've given up and will find a new doctor. Dr Coomes is a great doctor - caring, attentive, reasonable. Her colleagues, however, are not - poor communicators, advise unnecessary treatments to increase revenue, misinformation regarding costs, etc. Also, every single interaction with the practice over 3 years has been fraught with frustration due to the absolutely miserable office management. Pros: Dr Coomes is GREAT Cons: Some of her colleagues are not; management is terrible more
