I would highly recommend Neerings for your plumbing needs. I have a service contract with them and they come out twice a year to service my heating and ac unit. Today when Steve came out for my spring service he noticed the water pressure was high and made some suggestions to correct the problem, I went with his suggestions. Steve did a great job he was quick and very thorough and kept his work area clean. We have been dealing with Neerings for a few years and think they do a great job and pricing seems to be fair. Thanks again Steve for preventing a future disaster! more

My wife and I had recently called a competitor of Neerings plumbing and received a bid for the problems we were having with our indoor plumbing and we felt that the bid was exorbitant and the technician said the work couldn't be done over a weekend as all supplies were not available. We called Neerings and Jason came right out on a Saturday afternoon, evaluated the problems, gave us a bid that was more than 50% cheaper than we had been told by the other company. We agreed to the bid and Jason started the work immediately. Jason had all the tools and supplies, he laid down his plumbing pad on the floor and got right to work. Jason was quiet, respectful and extremely efficient and the work was completed in about 2 hours time and he cleaned up the work area quickly. We are very pleased and satisfied with Jason's work and will not hesitate to call Neering's plumbing with any of our future problems. I give Neerings Plumbing and Jason 5 stars out of 5 stars.\r \r Roger and Linda more

Had the main kitchen drainline break just below the floor and into the downstairs. Quote was pricey but I am 100% satisfied with the job. Nick was super nice, explained everything, was very clean despite having to remove quite a bit of drywall, and overall professional. While I still reel a bit on the cost, I am confident the job was done correctly and I won't have any more issues. I would recommend Neerings for anything requiring more than a clogged drain. more

Rip off do not use neering plumb. My sister had her water heater replaced a 40 gallon water heater runs between 300 - 400 dollars at Home Depot. She paid $1900 dollars for this job and this included a military discount. They had two techs there for 2.5 hrs and a 1/2 hour they were waiting on parts. The bill was a lump sum not broken out so you could not tell they screw you on labor. Stay away from this company unless you like to give your money out to greedy people. more

We contacted Neerings and, after checking everything quite thoroughly, Nick and Dave worked up a quote for for us. This was a big job involving all of the mechanical, electrical and plumbing. We needed some extra time to get started and Neerings was just super accommodating when dealing with our time constraints and our varing states of remodeling.\r They were very considerate, tidy, and efficient while working and so very kind and patient with having our family, elderly mother, and pets putzing about their activities. \r That said, we could not be happier with everything they did for us. They installed a HVAC and duct system with a UV and HEPA system, a tankless water heater, new PEX plumbing lines, new ABS throughout and upgraded our electrical to a 200amp service. From start to finish Nick kept us apprised of what they were woking on and what came next. Neerings whole crew is very knowledgeable and work efficiently. Having such competency is worth every penny and Neerings DOES IT RIGHT!\r The house is SO comfortable! The air feels cleaner, the humidity kept in check, and we NEVER run out of hot water. \r THANK YOU NEERINGS! more

Neerings is a bit more than some companies, but they give quality work. I would much rather pay a little bit more for something that is going to last a long time, than something that is put in poorly and is cheap quality. more

Once you get past the hard sell when you get an estimate you realize that you're dealing with a top-notch service. I needed a water softener and the guys from Neerings gave me a quote for what I call a poor-man's option, middle of the road, and the cadillac. Plus, they were trying to get me to buy a new furnace. I also wanted a quote for a humidifier, so when all was said and done, the quote was rather high. In the end, I went with a middle of the road water softener and they didn't try to convince me to get the whole package, for which I was grateful.\r \r When they guy came to install, it was easy and he left clear instructions on what to do. He left no mess behind and was delightful to talk with.\r \r Neerings also sold me for an additional $18 the air conditioning and furnace check up (Spring and Fall), which was a good deal. When their guy came to do the maintenance on my air conditioner he even went the extra step to put new electrical tape on some wires that were sticking out. It's all good now. more

DO NOT USE FOR SPRINKLERS.\r I did a google search for sprinkler repairs and Neerings came up so I called. They came out ($49 service fee) and then estimated the cost to be $550-$700 because it is a ""plumbing chart price"" they use and acknowledged that a sprinkler company could do it for much less. They should have told me this when I called. I paid $49 for nothing. I then reached out to a sprinkler service system and they can fix the problem for $40 (one-tenth the cost of Neerings). They simply need to not hold themselves out as sprinkler repair unless they say they are 10x the cost of others. \r \r They person from Neerings that came out was nice and pleasant. STAY AWAY FROM NEERINGS!!! In June we traveled from our home in Phoenix to visit my husband's mother in Taylorsville, UT after her brain surgery. We noticed her kitchen sink faucet needed to be replaced so we looked for a plumber. Neerings offered a competitive service call fee ($40) and had good online reviews. For a simple kitchen faucet replacement we were charged $577.00. There were no other leaks or damage involved in the repair. It was JUST the faucet replacement (which online cost $80 retail from Amazon). My husband authorized the charge so as not to inconvenience his mother further. I later asked Neerings for an itemized invoice. Here is what I got: Material: $174.60 (same faucet cost $80 online); Labor with burden: $177.42; Operational overhead: $109.58; Profit 20%:$115.40; TOTAL: $577.00. There was nothing complicated about this repair, but we did have to call Neerings back because the tech had installed the hot and cold backwards. We want people to know about the billing practices of Neerings before they find themselves in our situation. more
