This company is a SCAM - AVOID USING AT 5/31/2012

This company is a SCAM - AVOID USING AT ALL COST I'll let me review be heard by the letter I sent to the company after they did not show for the job...and refused to refund my deposit of $800 after doing no work whatsoever besides taking my name and address. I am writing to report that nationwide abandoned me during a critical move period. Robert assured me on the phone that the dates of May 25 and 26 were not a problem. It was clearly stated that I was flying back from Chicago to Dallas specifically to meet the movers and and to be completely moved out of my apartment of the 26th. I was completely abandoned. No one showed for the job or attempted to help make this happen within this time frame. No one called me to communicate anything despite my repeated calls and emails. Robert - you were involved with me on this to start the process - Please step up to the plate and make this right. I subsequently had to hire another company at a huge rate to show up last second to move my belongings. Clearly, in addition to the increased moving charge, I have incurred tremendous inconvenience and out of pocket costs. In addition, I was forced to cancel on my family over Memorial Day weekend to stay in Dallas to find a company who could fulfill its obligation to move. Despite Nationwide's reassurances that the pick-up would be made on may 25th or 26th and despite the fact that Nationwide completely abandoned me, today customer service denied my request for a refund of my deposit. My lawyer tells me that I not only have a right to a full refund, but the additional expenses I incurred as a result of Nationwide's abandonment of its duties. If I do not hear back from someone at Nationwide Relocation to refund my deposit this afternoon, I will be pursuing strong legal action. In addition I will make sure this injustice is heard by the BBB and every website which I can in detail describe the sequence of all of these events. more

Best Moving Service 8/26/2011

I have been moving every two years due to my contract with the engineering company I work for. Luckily, it has always been to close cities meaning I was able to move myself by simply renting a uHaul or just asking my friend who has a big truck for help. But there comes a time when you have to go with the best offer even if that means switching jobs or leaving your comfort zone area and adventure to new areas. This is exactly what happened. I had to move from Columbus, Ohio to the state of New York. If it wasn't for Nationwide Relocation Services who went through hell trying to fing a carrier for my move i wouldnt have been able to move on so short notice. I wish it was faster and that if they say they can move it was because they new for sure that they were going to move me within the assigned window... but at least they moved me as promptly as possible and i am already working at the new company. the estimate was fair and the service was ok. more

Trustworthy and Reliable 8/24/2011

I am no moving expert but from my experience with several moving companies throughout the years I have come to realize this is no easy job. when you book a move with a moving company all you can do is trust your estimator and ensure you have good communication wth them. This is the reason why my move went by so smoothly with Nationwide Relocation Services. My estimator and I were in contact all the time; even if it was for the slightest of changes regarding my itinerary, weight and destination as were some of the cases. more

Cheap Quote - Nice Service 8/19/2011

Nationwide Relo has become my new allied. Since I contacted their movers, my life and the stress i was going through just went away. Knowing that i had a friend on the other side of the phone ready to plan my move for me was very nice, specially when they are in a good mood and not grumpy like custumer service reps tend to be. If you are moving, you should def give em a call, besides, the quote is free. more

Lies Lies and more Lies Don't believe a word they say 3/28/2011

I had contacted Nationwide Relocation for a long distance move from Michigan to Arizona. They guaranteed me a price of $3721.27 for the move. I jumped on it. I paid my $1500 deposit, in order to get my contract. I took my contract to my attorney who told me to scratch out certain stuff. I did, and promptly called Nationwide back, and let them know that there was stuff missing off my inventory. Michael Anthony asked me what it was, I told him, a fridge, a queen size bed, a triple dresser, about 50 boxes, a spectator bench, stuff that weighs a good size amount. Michael stated to me that it will all go on the truck, and the move was guaranteed Not to Exceed the $3721.27. Quality assurance will call to make sure there is room on the truck for the stuff. I told him that I scratched out stuff on the contract and was going to send it back to him. He said that was fine. I esnt it back and got a call four days prior to my move to Phoenix, and was promptly told that my rate would DOUBLE. All because of the added weight. I cancelled this load five times and requested my deposit back. Of course it will not be refunded because I was within 5 business days of my move. Something that Michael Anthony told me wouldn't be an issue. Finally after the threat of violence on their driver who was never dispatched to my job, they cancelled it. I ended up with a Uhaul and moved my stuff myself. But I have been lied to by Michael Anthony, Shane, Carol, Sam, and now Cheryl who not only lied to me, but also to the BBB, and probably to many many many more people out there. See my complaints on Ripoffreport, and the BBB. Kudzu, and Angieslist. Don't ever do business with this Clown Aldo Disorbo, or his band of lying idiots doing business as United States Movers, Preferred Relocation, or Nationwide Relocation Services. They will steal your money, and leave you high wide and dry. more

Nationwide helped when my movers dropped the ball on me!! 4/22/2010

I moved from West Palm Beach to Jacksonville last month. I originally hired another company out of Miami to do the move. When they failed to show up I called the office who told me they had me scheduled to move another day since they needed the truck for another job, but they could fit me in next week. I was so stressed and forced to call another company. I was a little worried when I read some of the reviews but I was back into a corner. I spoke to a guy named Shane who went out of his way to get me moved the next day. To my surprise, everything went really well. No complaints, no holding my furniture hostage, nothing broken, no drama. I have NO intentions of moving again, but if I do, I know who to call. Pros: Last minute service with no drama more
