I had three windows installed last year and had to come back this spring and finish the rest of the house. Main reasons: quality and trust in the product, the company and it's employees. They are expensive but in this case you definitely get what you pay for. Ease of use and aesthetics are superb. I had combination windows before and the fact that I can wash these from inside the house is a real plus. Looking forward to having all new windows this summer and enjoying the warm breezes...... more

I have just complated my second batch of windows with Newpro and was so impressed that I felt a review was needed, In the course of 3 years I have now invested in Newpro to replce windows at my house on 2 different occasions. Not sure what else to say they don't leave a stone un-turned their attention to detali and customer service is second to none. They not only continue to meet my ecpectations but they always exceed my wife's which is no easy task. Like many other reviewers, I am a repeat customer! Go figure! The windows are way too expensive for me, but on a whim, because I was so curious about their effectiveness after the sales pitch, I tried them for the living room of my trailer home. I had originally called to for a siding estimate, but the verdict was siding wouldn't work because I didn't have enough overhang. I was told windows would give me as much, if not more, insulating value because of my large window area. Well, I was very pleased with the end result. Quick and flawless installation. Quick response to a sliding problem I had in the beginning on one window. Very handsome windows, easy to open and clean. They really clean up beautifully (I live right next to a railroad track), more sparking than my older windows when they are cleaned. I am convinced the materials used in these windows are superior to the usual vinyl insulated windows. And their effectiveness is easily proved with a heat gun (what a great invention that is!). I have 3 different versions of double-paned windows in my trailer at the moment, and the NewPro 4000 windows outstrip the others in heat retention - only a couple of degrees cooler than the adjacent walls compared to the other windows 5-6 degrees cooler than the adjacent walls. So, long story short, I am returning to NewPro for yet a few more windows despite the price being 2-3 times what I would think an insulated window with installation should be. I figure I am paying for peace of mind as well as for a quality product. I know NewPro won't damage my rather fragile home when they install the windows, and I know the windows will last me a lifetime, that if I have any problem with the windows whatsoever, it will be promptly fixed at no additional cost. I still feel like a fool, but a happy fool! more

When my husband and I bought our home 4 and 1/2 years ago we were in desperate need of windows. We had just purchased an old home with 22 windows, 1/2 of which were broken. We had many companies come and give us estimates, but found companies to be very similar. We saw a coupon in the local circular for a rebate with window purchase through Newpro. We figured we would give them a try and get an estimate. They came out and showed us how they're product was different than all the other windows on the market and how well their windows worked to reduce loss of heat, cut out street noise, and save us money. We decided Newpro was going to be the best for our money. We especially liked that they custom made the windows to replace or old odd sized windows. We were thrilled and pleased with the professionalism of the men and the quality of work. A few months later, we had a window that would continually slide down when opened. We called Newpro who responded promptly and fixed the window no questions asked. They were polite and informative (explaining why this was happening and showing how is could be fixed). Just recently we have come to the conclusion that the exterior of our home is in need of cosmetic and repair. Once again we have had contractors come and give us estimates. My husband and I were so pleased with the quality and warranty with our windows that we would have Newpro come out for an estimate in siding as well. Joey, from Newpro arrived early and measured our home for siding. He gave a great presentation demonstrating the difference between Newpro's siding and other's. Once again, we were hooked. The warranty on the siding and quality is superior to others. Newpro was comparative in pricing to other companies and paid attention to detail (to keep that old colonial look). I especially liked that Joey was not pushy. We once again chose Newpro for our home improvement and we are so excited about the new look they are going to give our home. Even better, unlike other siding companies, they don't charge for different colors or for dutch-lap vs standard clapboard. more

We live in a house that was built in 1979. Needless to say the windows became drafty and unattractive. When it came for replacement windows we chose NewPro, mostly because we liked the fact that they both make the windows and install them. We had them installed in October. The installers did a great job. They were knowledge able and did a great job cleaning when they were finished. We were so pleased that we have called them for some replacement doors. more

I purchased Newpro windows for all my downstairs windows June 2009, It made a significant improvement in keeping my house cool during the summer. With the Winter approaching, I already notice how well heat is being kept in downstairs rooms. Cold air leaking through my upstairs windows are now much more noticeable. We did a little research before contacting NewPro, so we were prepared for the sales pitch and for the pricing. The sales team were very professional - just the facts and no high pressure. So we bought windows for half the house (hedging our bets in case we made a bad decision). The installation team was equally as good as the sales people. They showed up when they were supposed to on a cold early-April day with snow flurries in the air. Four hours later, all the windows were installed, and they were gone without a trace. We are very happy with the product in all respects, so now we're buying windows for the other half of the house. The only reason for docking them 1/2 star is because of price. The windows are expensive (not the most expensive that we found), but given the quality of the product and the warranty, we determined that they represented the best value for us. more

I first bought NewPro windows five years ago for my dowstairs apartment in my two family home. They have worked out great! They are easy to clean, put up and down, and they keep the wind and noise out. So now that I need to put in windows for my upstairs apartment, I called NewPro right away. I live on a windy hilltop in an apartment on an upper storey with lots of windows - 14 windows, to be exact. Wonderful in the spring and fall, but a terrible energy loss in the winter or in the heat of recent summers. It?s impossible to keep all of the outside of the windows clean. At my age, it?s difficult to install storm windows, then take them down at the end of winter. So starting about 18 years ago, I decided to replace these 1890's windows with modern energy efficient ones that eliminated storm windows and that I could reach easily to clean the outside. I did some research and decided on NewPro for quality and the lifetime warranty. Are they cheap? By no means. So I have been replacing them in smaller groups, three times now, about 4 more energy efficient windows each time. By December of this year (2010), all 12 of the moveable windows will have been replaced by NewPro. Their sales people and their service people have always been polite and considerate. And best of all, if a window gets sticky and difficult to open or close, or anything is troublesome, NewPro has always come quickly, no questions asked, and repaired or replaced the parts in question, at no charge. After purchasing my house from my parents the time came to install windows in our basement. We had 11 windows replaced by Newpro last year. The product is great, we went back a second time to get additional windows (to match the ones we purchased last year). The product is high quality, we've definitely noticed a difference. The negatives are unclear pricing and operationally they can be difficult to deal with. more

We had all of the windows and doors replaced by Newpro throughout our home, including the basement and porch over 4 visits. After the first visit of window replacements we were very impressed. We just had to have Newpro back for all the exterior doors and a nice new slider on the porch. We then even had the newest windows in our upstairs addition replaced, not because there was anything wrong with the originals, but because of how easy the Newpro ones were to operate and how easy they were to clean.
