My Chicago Limousine

DO NOT USE THIS LIMO SERVICE.\r I made reservations for a hummer limo through this company in March, 2007 for MY WEDDING in late August, 2007 (7 months prior to the date we needed). The limo was supposed to be at my house to pick my bridesmaids and myself up at 2:00 in the afternoon to take us to the ceremony. At 1:45 the limo driver called me and said he was running late, so I said don't worry about picking us girls up just go to the ceremony site. I had to call my brother to come pick me up and take me there. On the way there the limo driver called again and said traffic was too bad and he was sick of fighting it and that he was turning around and not coming. REMEMBER THIS IS MY WEDDING DAY. I told him listen you still have 3 hours to get there (the wedding was at 4:00, by the time that was over and pictures were taken we didn't really need him to be there until 5:30-6:00) but he didn't care and told me to call management and hung up on me. The next day I called this company and asked to talk to a manger but what do you know no manager was available. My wedding was on a Friday and no manager is available on a Saturday which is probably their busiest day of the week, yeah right!! Since then I have called repeatedly and noone will pick up the phone, must have caller id. My credit card has yet to be credited my depoit of $155.00. ALL I CAN SAY IS YOU DON'T DO THIS TO PEOPLE ESPECIALLY A BRIDE ON HER WEDDING DAY. \r \r I am going to contact a lawyer about this issue. I called the day before my event to confirm my scheduled pick-up time and they did not have my order! I booked the Hummer limo 2 1/2 months PRIOR. I am so upset with this company! They would not fix their mistake!\r \r Do yourself a favor and book through another company! I am so stressed out because of this awful mess! more

My son hired MY CHICAGO LIMOUSINE for his prom night with friends. They called the afternoon of prom and stated that they would not be able to pick them up due to the wedding that was using the vehicle extending their time. I informed them this was unacceptable and that we obviously would not be paying for any services which were contracted for, but were not delivered. We just opened our credit card statement to find that they have charged us for the ride anyway. I'm purusing legal action. This company was completly unreliable and underhanded. I had a similar experience as the previous reviewer. Our limo was supposed to pick our group up from a dance and they never showed up. Nobody was answering phones at the company and we kept getting the answering machine. Do not use this company becuase you will regret it and end up having a terrible time worrying about transportation instead of enjoying your special occasion. Now, I may be young, but you don't need to an adult to know the right kind of serive... and this one was absolutely pittiful! I went to a dance at my school and when the limo arrived it was in HORRIBLE condition -- the window tints were pealing off, the AC was broken, one door completely DIDN'T WORK (including locks, window, and the ablity to open), one of the fold down mirrors was ripped out and gone, some blubs in the mood lighting were broken, even a seat had a hole in it and if was FALLING OFF! When we asked the driver what was wrong with the AC, she was unhelpful and rude enough to just close the divider between the driver's area and the passenger area. Dont use My Chicago Limousine! I had prearranged a pickup at OHare around 8:30 on a Thursday night, called dispatch when I landed, and went to the area he designated. THE CAR NEVER SHOWED! Making matters worse, no one answered the phones when I called repeatedly to find out where the car was, nor did the driver call me to indicate any kind of trouble. I called the next morning to find out what happened and was treated rudely by the dispatcher who said he couldnt help and claimed the manager was out of state all week. If reliability or service are important to you, find another car service or taxi. Pros: Cheap Cons: Unrealible, Rude Dispatch more
