Had them out twice - once on a Sunday and once at 8pm at night - no after hours extra charge!! They wear booties in the house so they don't track in and outside. Andrew was fantastic! Soooo nice, great explanation of what had to be done, estimate before any work and the final price was exactly the estimate. Asked for a quote from Andrew for another project - will definitely have them back to do the work. I cannot say enough good things about Mr. Rooter and especially about Andrew!! more

Matt came out and got my bathtub draining again. He also did a more involved cleaning of the common bathroom drains and washing machine / kitchen sink drain. We're very happy with the work done. more

Called Mr Rooter on a Sunday morning with a washing machine drain pipe leak. A very pleasant and helpful girl with a wonderful personality answered the phone. She told me someone would be over in an hour-and-a-half, and Jeff M. showed up within 10 minutes of the scheduled time. He quoted me the repair cost (which I agreed to) and went straight to work on the problem. Less than 90 minutes later he was done and did a great job. He was very polite and professional to talk to and answered all my questions and concerns clearly, sometimes offering a further explanation. I highly recommend Mr Rooter and especially Jeff M. You won't be disappointed. more

After our kitchen sink got plugged up,and after several feeble attempts to unclog it failed miserably, my husband & I once again came to grips with the fact that our expensive liberal arts degrees had let us down again. After a short pity party and a couple of gin and tonics, we knew it was time to call a plumber - but which plumber? Being the gullible stooge that I am, I looked up reviews of local plumbing companies on the internet. Genious, right? Lo and behold, a "Mr. Rooter" had oodles of 4-star reviews. I'm impressed; none of the other plumbers have squat in the way of little red stars. These guys must be masterly, so I called. The guy that answered the phones was shouting incoherently at someone else and then put me on hold. I was a little disheartened, but, hey, we all have bad days right? He said they were really busy and he didn't know when they could dispatch a guy; he'd have to call me back. Twenty minutes later a young man with a shaved head arrived at my door. This is great I think to myself. This is where the fun began: The kid, probably 23-24 years old, can't make a move without me holding his hand. His big issue right off the bat is that he does not, under any circumstances, want to crawl under my house. What? Then he nervously tells me it's going to cost $195 for him to clear the drain.Can you see where this might be going? Since the young man didn't bring a flashlight or any type of light, I have to set up my high power lamp and use my extension cords. He finally gets his fraidy cat ass under the house and comes out 5 minutes later claiming the pipe leading away from the sink has completely disintegrated and says "it's gonna be a big job". I ask him how much it'll cost, he says he needs to call his supervisor. He mulls around doing nothing until the "supervisor" shows up to assess how much of a con they can run on me. After lots of facial movement meant to convey consternation, the bossman tells me it's gonna be $1,200 to replace 28 inches of PVC. (please see next review by me) more

I had a valve leak a few hours before having to go out of town, and Eugene was able to find the parts for my water meter and fix it the same day, allowing me not to have to move my travel arrangements. I sincerely appreciate his going the extra mile (literally, since he had to drive about 40 miles to pick up the part) to resolve the problem quickly. more

We had a clogged shower at 6pm on a Saturday night and they showed up within the hour. Our technician was extremely professional and fair. They fixed the clog within minutes. Highly recommend them. more

We just had a service tech (Wade) come to our house on Christmas Eve, and we just wanted to pass on that he was a hard worker, fast and very friendly. Wade was a wonderful person who even got stuck in the snow! He stayed both positive and very friendly despite the terrible weather and situation. We just wanted to let Wade and his superiors know that he represented the company well, and we will certainly be telling everyone of the excellent and responsive service. This issue has made it a very financially difficult and stressful Holiday Season for us, and Wade and Mr. Rooter has made it a little better. more

The guys at Mr. Rooter have come out with little notice to rescue me on more than one occasion. They never charge me for unnecessary work, and always try to find the most economical way to fix my problem. They show me options, and allow me to decide how I want them to proceed before doing the work, and once they start, the work is done in no time. I highly recommend Mr. Rooter.? more

Fixed a kitchen drain clog a cheaper, more mom and pop setup could not. Cheap, Prompt, well equipped, and get the job done right. Even cleaned up the floors a bit when done. Wish I had called them first recently. more
