I was born in and raised in NY and consider myself one who knows the ropes about NYC shopping. I also collect watches and decided that for my daughter?s wedding I would purchase a watch I had been researching for over a year, and happened to see one in the window of a store on 47th street while looking at wedding bands with my wife. I purchased a Breguet ($5,000) from Motion in Time, Eddie (the owner) and his son Borris. This experience has led to the writing of my first review as a way of sharing my story with anyone who is considering transacting with Motions in Time. Simply put. I purchased a new watch from Motions in Time on West 57th Street The watch was not running correctly for 2 months (warranty by Breuget is for 1 year) I dropped the watch off in early July. I became leery and asked to have the watch returned so I could bring it to the manufacturer. Every week I was told it was in Europe, Florida they would get it back.... Finally, I was given an additional written note that stated I would be provided with a new watch, or this would be repaired by the end of July. They then changed it to Aug. 23. I called yesterday, and the owner Eddie told me he would not return the watch, I annoyed him and I should take him to court. He still has my time piece and my money. I think anybody that does business with Eddie and Motions in Time in NYC after this warning should email me first. Purchase from Motions in Time at your own risk. \r
