Not many shops are open Sundays, I stopped by Motion In Time today because they were one of few that were with the largest variety of watches in stock, I bought my wife a magnificent gift and very happy I dealt with them. Thank you Boris more

The nicest people I've so far met doing business with, very comfortable and flexible, they actually work with you and speak with you not just give prices and wait for a yes or no answer, they sit and explain whats what, I do not know what this guy John in the previous comment is saying but I myself had a great experience with Motion In Time, I know from previous repairs with other shops they do not warranty parts they only warranty movements and mechanical interior, I'm sure 99 percent of stores are the same in this matter, besides $80 for a screw isn't bad at all anyways, I once paid $130 for Stainless steel screw, You have a Cartier not a Casio, Motion In Time I am satisfied with you Thank You Ariel for all your help more

Never shop here again ! \r I am an English tourist essentially although I visit New York often.\r I bought an expensive gold Cartier mens watch this summer and paid over $6500 second hand. I was promised by Boris a 2 year guarantee. When the watch needed repair hardly 6 weeks later, I was promised it would be ready within a week. After 7 weeks it was still not ready, and I met with incredible rudeness and aggression when I asked for it back, repaired or not. I finally got it back after numerous reminders and phone calls, but they charged $80 for replacing a tiny screw in the bracelet -which I have no doubt was in fact already missing when they first sold the watch to me.\r These are not nice people to deal with ! \r I am astonished at the fact they have received other good reviews. I would not trust them ever again and advise the reader similarly. more

I heard so much about Motion In Time from so many of my colleagues and I happened to be in Manhattan just last week, So i finally stopped by and took a look at the Motion In Time store, only word that comes to mind is WOW!!, What a beautiful store very cozy and comfortable mind you very polite and nice with incredible pricing, I bought my watch from them and received many compliments on it and only a week has past, they said i will. I'll join the bandwagon and say these guys are good. After having horrible issues with a Kreiger watch I had purchased and their incompetent and rud customer services down in Miami, these guys were a refreshing change. They were able to reassure me that if I had any further problems they could help me out. They only removed links on the band but took the time to put one back in after it was too tight and still held to their original estimate, which was modest. My gut instinct is they are honest and do right by their customers.. something really hard to find these days. Now if only Krieger Watches could take a page from these MIT's customer service handbook. Pros: Good service, fair price more

The Motion In Time store literally speaks for itself, for anyone that hasn't been in this store you have to check it out, it is hands down ridiculously beautiful I haven't seen any watch store look this nice, Just by being in a nice store and around nice people makes you want to get something, I felt really comfortable purchasing my watch from Boris-Ariel at Motion In Time, anything else I need I'm coming to see you guys thank you. I was recommended to Motion In Time by a friend who buys all his watches from them, mind you this is my first time in the diamond district, I've walked to the store and was completely shocked, Motion In Time has the nicest display and store in the whole diamond district. I've seen watches that I've never seen in my life and only online advertisement pictures, right after i noticed all the rare timepieces i had a feeling these guys are the guys to go to. I've been told to speak to Boris or Ariel with anything i need at all, When i walked with smiles we all introduced ourselves and started from there, I had a great vibe buying my watch from them, great guys very respectful and down to earth, got an amazing deal from them to, I would recommend anyone that is looking for a watch to see Boris or Ariel at Motion In Time just as i was recommended, very happy and comfortable working with them. Discogirl77 I've left you several messages with your office, it maybe your secretary hasn't given you them, I'd have given you an estimate on your watch on Friday, I've been told you'd call me back and tell me if you were willing to spend the money repairing your watch, you picked up your watch from my store saying ""it isn't great timing for me right now hopefully next week ill drop it off"" I don't know your financial situation but please do not take it out on me. I took a watch in for repair. It took days to get an estimate, in which Ariel insited he would call me at 10am Monday morning. I was the one who had to initiate all the calls to Ariel. I was put off several times...he had to do this, he had to do that, he never called when he said he would. The back and forth was ridiculous. I just went and picked up the unrepaired watch...who has time for such nonsense. I'm sorry it wasn't a $50K watch I was purchasing from you, Ariel. But, maybe this can be a lesson for you on how NOT to treat a customer. When I do purchase 10+ watches for my staff this December, I'll be sure and take my business elsewhere. My wife bought me a used Rolex Yachtmaster from here for our anniversary and two days later it completely fogged up. I took the watch to Wempe because MIT was closed and they told me that the watch had previously been worked on and not properly closed. When I brought the watch back to MIT they accused me of dropping the watch. When we asked them to get us a new watch they quoted us a price that was close to $1,000 more than other dealers in the diamond district and expected us to give them more money before they would order the watch. When we asked why the price was so much higher they said that they needed to make more money for the trouble of getting a new watch. After arguing with them for two weeks they finally gave us back $1,675 less than we paid for the watch. We ended up going to Tourneau and buying a new one. I would not recommend buying a watch from here. They were exceptionally rude and unreasonable. Once they had our money they wanted nothing to do with us. I dealt with someone named Ariel. I've already deterred two of my co-workers from buying watches here and would recommend you not buy a watch here either.
