Mosby did a complete exterior remake-siding, every window, attic insulation with venting, front door with sidelights, circular front porch, driveway, and sidewalk from driveway to porch, brick mailbox, repair and sealing of deck in 2010. In 2011 I had a plumbing emergency with total blockage of pipes from kitchen to exterior drainage in 2011 that they did a great job with rerouting pipes after taking care of the immediate problem. There was total and complete satisfaction with everything, including the price, for both jobs. The difference between Mosby and the wannabes is simple. They do quality work and give great value. Value defined by me is the highest quality for the price paid, not the smallest dollar amount. From my research on the company, and personal experience during the work, I realized that the price was fair with excellent value because they were delivering a product that was the result of a process of continuous quality improvement. I was paying for a physical product but receiving much more than only materials-I was receiving the process of continuous quality improvement in the use of the materials. They are always looking for a way to do a better job tomorrow than the way they do it today, and the customer always benefits. There was always a go-to person in their office when I had a question and always a person with direct responsibility for MY JOB on site that was always available to talk to, and they finished the job on schedule. I would never let anybody else but Mosby come near my present house to do anything and they will custom build my next house from start to finish. more

Subsequent to my wife's passing, I contracted with Mosby Building Arts to do a complete renovation of my Ranch Home we originally constructed in l962. This included installing all new windows/doors, restoring all original hardwood floors throughout the house. Additionally, they completely renovated 3-bathrooms, den, family/dining room, kitchen, living room, and lower level family/recreational room. All of their work was of a top professional quality and I couldn't be more pleased. I consider of their entire construction crew and staff as true professionals! more

We had Mosby Building Arts do several projects in our home this spring - a new bathroom; a new main plumbing stack; a new & leveled kitchen/family room floor; and a newly framed/drywalled kitchen ceiling after we had the two skylights removed. more

Mosby replaced a bay window and painted my entire first floor. They were very professional from beginning to end. Best of all, my house remained clean during the whole process. I would highly recommend them to friends and family! more

This spring, Mosby installed quarter round in 3/4 of my home. One carpenter started and completed the job in one day, and I only knew he'd been there because the quarter round was there in the evening when it wasn't in the morning. Meaning, he was so clean and meticulous that he left no trace other than doing a fabulous job. For me, it felt like someone waved a magic wand and a home improvement a long-put off magically appeared! more

This has certainly not been a good experience for me, albeit an educational one. Although they may have done wonderful work for people in the past, they will not be doing any work for me. In one of their early visits, they offered a rough estimate of what the project would cost. When they came back with the budgetary numbers, it was almost twice. Since I paid a fair amount of money to have these numbers generated, I felt I ought to be able to see a breakdown of costs: Material, labor, project management, etc. However, when I asked to see them, they instead wanted to set up another meeting to explain what a tremendous outfit Mosby is and why the dollars make sense.
