Melinda is AWESOME 3/15/2008

I have always been very picky with people that cut my hair. I've even gone months too long without a haircut because I have to trust the person cutting my hair. Melinda does a great job. I will never be able to have someone else cut my hair. Melinda is very personable and easy to talk with. She's also very professional and knows how to cut hair in many different styles. I have recommended Melinda to a lot of people and everyone that has gone to her has been very pleased. Melinda will give you an awesome hair cut. more

Melinda's the Bee's knees!!!!!! 3/14/2008

I was the kinda of guy who always went to a super cut or something like that and was always disappointed in the results and since I've been going to Melinda I have Never walked away needing to check the mirror to look for imperfections. Melinda is really personable and a riot to talk to, has the skills to cut any type of hair and she is really great at what she does. I REALLY recommend her to anyone and promise you will not be disappointed. more

Best Hair EVER! 3/13/2008

I usually don't write reviews like this but I had to BRAG about how great my hair looks every time I go see Melinda! She was awesome!!!! She actually listens to what you want to have done with your hair and then does it! I have had so many experiences where I would tell a hairstylist one thing and they would do another! She is a step above everyone else that has ever touched my hair! And if you don?t know what hair style or color to go with, Melinda always has great ideas that will have you looking fabulous when you leave the salon! Thanks for everything Melinda!! All time greatest place to get your hair done 3/12/2008

This is my new favorite place to get my hair done! My stylist Melinda Hughes is fantasticly awesome! She really knows what will look the best on people and how to best do their hair. My hair has never looked as good as when Melinda did it! I came to Melinda when someone else had done a horrible color job on my hair, they had tried to color my roots to match the rest of my hair and had used the wrong color. So by the time I went to have it fixed my hair was a number of colors that didn't match. Melinda did an amazing job fixing it and making it look great. I am complimented all the time on how good my hair looks and how great the color is. Melinda is by far the best hairdresser that I've ever been to! more

Melinda Hughes Is the BEST! 3/12/2008

Melinda Hughes has been cutting and coloring my hair for 3 years now... and for good reason...I LOVE IT! I moved to Logan last fall and still come down to have her do my hair. The salon is conveniently located in Holladay and has a comfortable atmosphere. Her expertise is amazing. Last December I was in California for a month and had my hair cut at Tony & Guy and felt that Melinda was just as good if not better than the stylist at their salon. Highly Recommended. Skilled friendly staff and pleasant environment 3/12/2008

I'm just a guy who doesn't know much about hair but I have really enjoyed every haircut I have had there. My hairdresser is Melinda and she has a good "vision" and good advice in case I don't know how I want my hair cut. The enviromnment is nice and friendly, kind of like walking into the bar Cheers but without the alcohol or barstools. All in all, the favorite place I have ever had my hair done. more

A cut/color you can walk away from HAPPY!!!! 3/7/2008

For four years I tried to find a hair stylist I liked, someone I wanted to keep going to month after month. Before I found Melinda at Moore Hair Design, I went through six different stylists, each one explaining what I wanted and never finding one that made my hair look exactly how I wanted it. I went to Melinda last july and was seriously shocked when the cut and color was finished. It was exactly what I wanted. Moore Hair Design is awesome! My stylist is Megan Moore. The salon is so cute and they offer a variety of services, my appointments have all been easy to schedule and have started right on time, it's affordable, Megan always has great and creative hairstyle ideas, and --most importantly-- the end product is beautiful every time! Bridal Bliss 5/22/2007

I recently chose Moore Hair Design for my wedding hair and makeup. Megan's team of stylists were able to create great hair styles for my entire bridal party and everybody looked great. Megan traveled to the event with me and completed every detail to perfection. I would recommend Megan for any wedding event... I love my hair! 5/22/2007

I'm super picky about who cuts my hair because I'm always fearful about receiving a bad haircut. I never have to worry with Megan though. I completely trust her style and judgement when she's cutting my hair because she always does a great job and knows what looks good. I've referred several friends to her and they are now loyal customers. She's an awesome stylist. Pros: Megan is very sweet and easy to talk to. more

The best in town 5/8/2007

I am very, very fussy about my hair, so I want someone that really does a great job. Megan at Moore Hair design was recommended to me and I have never been disapointed. She does a great job. I have had her cut and color my hair and I have been very please with both. There is never any pressure to buy product. She makes you feel relaxed and is very professional. I look forward to my time in her chair every six to eight weeks. I have seen her featured on Utah Brides and she lives up to her reputation. I have no problem recommending Megan for any hair treatment you need. Pros: Very statisfied with results more

Finally - someone who knows how to work with curly hair! 5/6/2007

I have naturally curly hair and have always struggled with how to make it work for me so I look my best. I have particularly had trouble knowing how to "style" it so it doesn't go frizzy after being washed and dried. I also have my hair colored, so it gets really dry. Megan hasdone a terrific job cutting my hair and teaching me how to go from wet to dry with good results. She is able to understand what I want, and I have always been happy with the color - and we have tried several variations - from highlighted to darker brown. She makes me feel comfortable because she is up-to-date on the latest styles and techniques, but she does not act like "all that". She is a talented professional, but she is also a regular person, and I really enjoy that about her. Pros: The prices for services are affordable - not outrageous Cons: None more

Megan is tops. She is extremely proficient, artistic and gives a great cut every time, just the way I like it. The mint hair conditioner after the sampoo and scalp massage is to die for. Best haircut of my LIFE! 12/27/2006

I recently had Megan cut my hair when I was desperate for a haircut. It had been seven months and I was ready for a change. My hair was pretty long and I told Megan she had creative freedom. Well, that was the BEST decision I ever made. This haircut is honestly my favorite haircut EVER. My husband told me to make sure she gave me "s e x y hair" and when he saw it he was VERY happy. Megan listens, has great ideas, and is VERY talented. Plus, she's just great to talk to. I don't even live in Utah (I'm in San Francisco and my whole family is in Utah) and I'll be back to Megan every time I need a haircut. I highly recommend her!!! You won't be disappointed! more

Best stylist I've been to 12/12/2006

I loved my experience with Moore Hair Design! I have been coloring my hair for eleven years, and have had many very different haircuts. I can?t remember a time when I left the salon feeling happy with my hair; it has always taken me a few days to decide that I liked my color and cut. I also don?t usually have my stylist blow-out and style my hair because I always ended up redoing it when I got home anyway. My husband kept telling me to stop complaining and get a new stylist, so I did. He was very surprised when I came home with a color and cut that I immediately loved (and so did he!), and a cute style to match! Megan did a GREAT job on my hair, and she was also fun to talk with. My old stylist was boring and conversation was awkward. The salon was charming. I will definitely recommend everyone I know to Megan, and I know I?ve found my new stylist! more

Excellent Hair Extensions 10/9/2006

I have very fine hair, and have always wanted to have long thick hair. Megan did my hair extensions and you can't even tell I have extensions in. She did a perfect job matching the color to my hair. She did such an awesome job and I have enjoyed them so much. I can wear my hair up or down, curled or straight and they look so good any way. I have had numreous complements on how great they look. She gave me lots of pointers on how to keep them looking healthy and last longer. Thanks to Megan, I can have the hair I've always dreamed of! more
