A Hair Stylist that listens JESSICA IS THE BEST 9/4/2008

I have been searching for someone who would give me what I wanted! Well, after 5 years of struggle, I found her and what an awesome feeling. I have never left a salon so excited about a hair do in a very long time. The color, people who see me are still raving about it, and the cut is exactly what I asked for! JESS is indeed the BEST!!! I found the salon very inviting, warm, tastefully decorated and comfortable. Also, I would like to complement the rest of the staff in that the GOSSIP was NOT whirling all around me!!! I for one, find gossip tasteless!! WHAT A BREATH OF FRESH AIR!!! Thanks again JESS!! Pros: Way above my expectations!!! Cons: None, if you have a hard time finding it, use a mapping program, I had no problem!! more

I never leave without what I want! 8/29/2008

I have been going to Krystin for about 2 years now and love my hair every time. She really listens to what I want every time. Not only do I get great hair and what I want, I love going in to relax and talk because she is such a nice person. I highly recommend her! Pros: great salon, great stylist, easy to find more

CALLY MAKES ME GORGEOUS! SHE'S AMAZING!!** 8/19/2008

I love love love getting a facial from Cally! She relaxes me completely! She also showed me ALL of the products that work best with my skin type, but told me what I really actually needed and what I could do without for now. She's totally sweet and I always have such a good time at my appointments!! Now that I'm done with brow-rehab I love those too! Thank you Cally!!! Call her today! She's AMAZING! more

Hairy no longer, THANKS CALLY!!! 8/19/2008

Having been a customer of Moore?s, again I have to give it up to MELINDA for her great hair cutting skills; I was introduced to Cally and I won?t lye the thought of being waxed to me seemed unnecessary for most men and scary as well. After a little persuasion was talked into this seemingly conspicuous idea of being waxed, but after talking to her and listening to her knowledge and hearing of her expertise I reluctantly agreed, with grace and gentle hand my fears were instantly repressed after the first swipe of the wax. Thanks to her kindness and professionalism it was over quickly, very clean and proficient I highly recommend her to anyone who has those unwanted hairs lingering around. more

Melinda's the hair queen!!!! 8/11/2008

I used to be the queen of frumpy haircuts because I didn't know what to do with my hair. Melinda started cutting my hair a few years ago and has always done an amazing job. I would always tell her I had no idea what to do with my hair so she'd give a few suggestions and I've never been disappointed!!! NEVER!!! And her cuts are so easy to style for the styling impaired like myself. She even introduced me to color which has always turned out perfect! She also did an excellent up-do for my wedding which still looked great by the end of the day. If you're looking to try someone new, give her shot. I promise you won't be disappointed!!! Best Makeup and Eyelash Extensions 8/10/2008

OMG, so Cynthia is new at Moore but she did my eyelash extensions and I came back for my complimentary makeup session with her and wow, her work is so amazing i wish i could post a pic that my boyfriend took of me, she takes such gentle care. Not if you want a straight line. 8/6/2008

I'm sorry, it seems as if there are plenty of good reviews, but I think my service was second-rate, or below. All I asked for was a blunt cut, no layers, no color, nothing. My hair is rather long, but I thought that was a situation you train for, and this person must have forgotten the lesson. It is noticeably uneven, and there is no way that she didn't know while blow-drying. She didn't say anything though, which I would have appreciated. She did try and convince me to go shorter while shampooing, but I had all ready stated what I wanted-- maybe she's more comfortable with shorter hair. I understand that my hair may be difficult, and I'm a plain, homely person, but that doesn't mean you can give me a less than mediocre haircut and think that I won't notice. I'm surprised she let me walk out the door paying full price, or not offering to correct it, which would have been great. Pros: Nicely decorated Cons: Parking, Location, Blunt Haircuts more

Kimberly is my ALL TIME FAVORITE hair stylist!!! 8/5/2008

Kimberly has been doing my hair for two years now. She's AMAZING!!! She knows exactly what I want and how I want it. After the first time she did my hair, I was hooked. I knew that she was the only one that would meet my standards. Every time she does my hair, I immediately fall in love with the style! I tell all my friends and family how wonderful she is! When my mother got married she wanted Kim and ONLY Kim to style her hair for her special day. I have never been disapointed and niether will you! You should deffinately request her next time you need your hair done! Pros: Wonderful service, Great style, Cozy atmosphere Cons: Nothing more

I searched the internet and came accross the best salon in Utah.. Moore Hair Design. not only was I headed to the best salon in Utah.. But I also got the best stylist in Utah! Kimberly is so good at what she does. I couldn't have been happier, I just needed a change. She is really great with suggestions and telling you what fits well with you. Stop what your doing and make an appointment with her right now.. you wont regret it!! Pros: really layed back Cons: nothing more

Best Hair Salon Ever! 7/29/2008

I've been going to the Moore Hair Salon for over a year now and absolutely love it. The people that work there are very friendly and helpful when it comes to beauty tips and advice. My hair and makeup artist, Kathy Tengono does a fabulous job on my hair, my boyfriends and family members. We all say "she has good hands!" I have never had a bad haircut with Kathy she always makes sure I like my final look. I've been to many places that cut and thin out my hair and I absolutely hate it! But, not Kathy! I highly recommend going to this salon they will make you feel great about yourself. I forgot to mention, one time I left Kathy's salon and someone asked me if I was a Pantene Pro-V model, now that's not a compliment I usually get. If you want beautiful, stylish and most importantly healthy hair, go to Kathy at the Moore Salon. more

I have been going to Moore hair design for a little over a year I have had a hard time finding a great stylest to do my hair, and I am so picky with what I want done and I always change my hair. I started coming here and seeing Kathy Tengono for my hair needs and my waxing. She is just absolutly amazing with my hair she is so patient and she helps me come up with the best styles for my matience hair she has the best spunky attitude to be around she makes the times for up keeping my hair just a blast. She uses the best hair products on your hair so the color last so much longer and then when they do fade they still have such a pretty vibrant look to them, her prices are very affordible. I am always complemented by my hair and i always and deffently recomend kathy. If you want amazing looking hair for your moneys worth go see kathy, you will not be disapointed. she also does other needs such as waxing so when you want a day of upkeeping you can get it done in one shot. Thanks kathy for making my hair so pretty! I am a very satisfied customer. Pros: Everything from kathy, to the atmosphere!! Just great! Cons: nothing more

It's been a while since I had my hair done here-- looks like I need to make another appointment! Melinda did a great job listening to what I did (and didn't!) want done with my hair, and I was pleased with the final outcome. She also has a great personality, and makes you feel pampered-- which is something that I (as a new mom) really appreciated during my visit there. Keep up the good work, Melinda! Great singer... even greater haircut! 6/9/2008

I had Melinda style my hair today and i must say, it looks amazing! She was great company, as she loved to sing :) I went in to the salon not knowing exactly what I wanted done, and she helped me come up with a good style. It exceeded my expectations by far! I am 11 years old and my mom and I go to Moore Hair Design and I always have Kimberly do my hair because I have to have my hair done a certain day and she always does it perfect!!!! She also is very kind to me unlike other stylists in other places. Everyone in my family loves her!!! Go see Kimberly!! She's the best!!!!!!!!!!!:) Pros: The stylists, they're great!!! I have always been super picky with my hair! Since I have had Kimberly as my hairstylist, She knows exactly what I want... I like my hair easy and evenly colored and Kimberly does exactly that. I get compliments on my hair ALL THE TIME! everywhere I go. she knows just what to do to make any cranky picky person HAPPY! I love her work! Great Stylist Kimberly 5/19/2008

Kimberly is an amazing hair stylist. I really enjoyed my visit to her in the salon. She is great with cuts and color. On top of being a spectacular hairstylist Kim is very fun to talk to. She has a great personality and is a good conversationalist. The other stylists in the salon all get along with her very well and the space she works in is very comfortable. I usually always have uneven haircuts because my hair is curly and I did not have that problem this time. I love her color line as well. The color is so rich. She helped me choose what would look best and she was dead on. I look better than I ever have color wise. I will most definitely go back to Kimberly again and again. Pros: very reasonable prices, great staff Cons: nothing!! more

GO SEE MELINDA!!!!!!!!!!! 5/17/2008

I thought my hair was ruined for life until Melinda helped save my hair. She fixed the awful mess and made me look good. I went from being embarrassed to leave my house, my hair was that bad, to showing off my luscious locks. I even got a personal compliment from a celebrity stylist about my hair. I told her I owe it to Melinda!! I made my mother "cheat" on her hairdresser of almost 20 years. She has given my mom one awesome cut after another. We love Melinda! Need a color or cut?
