Happy hair day! 7/5/2009

I usually go by referrals from friends... However, I took a chance and found Moore Hair design online. They booked me with Jessica, who turned out to be a Rock Star at highlights and an awesome cut! I had a perm and hair was quite the train wreck... I left with perfect warm highlights and very healthy hair that is a breeze to style P.S. I also loved that everyone really enjoyed working there. more

Cally B is the best 6/13/2009

I went to get my first Brazilian wax from Cally B. I was nervous because I have thick dark hair and I know that it can hurt. When I entered the salon it was beautiful and the private waxing room was so comfortable. It really helped. Cally did an awesome job waxing me. It went by quick and there was little to no pain. There's not a hair left from the top to the back side and I wouldn't trust anyone else to wax me down there! Pros: Relaxing atmosphere, detailed service, good product Cons: none more

Excellent Full Service Salon 6/10/2009

I've been "Going to Brazil" with Cally for a couple years now. She makes you feel very comfortable, when it could be SOOO awkward! She's very professional, clean, and has lightening fast hands. She also tints my lashes and brows and is amazing! Thanks Cal! Pros: The Girls are Great! more

Unsatisfied 5/6/2009

I read all of the reviews saved my money, (I hate to tip lightly) I drove for one hour and a half and was greatly disappointed. FIrst off the little po-dunk salon does not look award winning by any means. I read reviews that they sit and talk with you about what style is best for you and go through photos and give you a great cut. Not the case Megan Moore took one look at me and passed judgement. Would not consult with me, she acted clueless when I asked her question after question. She didn't even cut or style my hair at all she just trimmed it and I still payed an arm and a leg. What a waste, take my advise if your a mom looking to update your style------go to another salon!!!!!!! Pros: Learning experience Cons: My hair is a wreck more

BROOKE HAS A CLIENT FOR LIFE! 5/5/2009

I moved to SLC from California & was terrified to change stylists. I called Moore Hair Design & was able to talk to Brooke about what I wanted and scheduleded an appointment. From the moment I arrived I was completely comfortable with her. She did an AWESOME job on my color & cut my hair exactly how I wanted it! I get compliments on my hair literally everywhere I go & I recommend Brooke to everyone! = ) Pros: Great salon more

I drive for an hour... And would for an hour more! 4/12/2009

I have been using my stylist every month for over a year and I will never go anywhere else! When Jessica, my stylist, moved to Moore Hair, I was apprehensive. I had not heard of the salon and I am most discriminating person in the world in regards to my hair. My first visit was amazing. I was comfortable, I felt pampered, it was first class service. I indeed felt they took true interest in positive customer service. I had always known that Jessica was talented, but the salon as its own entity was a wonderful place to go. I live in Utah Valley and I pass HUNDREDS of salons on my way and I will never enter their door so long as Moore Hair is around. Not only do they provide a service but an education. They are always on the cutting edge of new and unique treatments. They will never be the low price leader but if you care about being fashion forward, being treated with world class service, and a comfortable, un-intimidating environment, this is a salon you will truly enjoy. Best Massage Ever!!! 4/9/2009

I had the worst neck, shoulder, and low back pain when I went in for my massage with Jessica. When I left I felt like a new woman. My pain is gone. Jessica used perfect pressure, was polite and professional. I can't wait until my next massage. Pros: This is the best massage I ever had. Cons: I wish it never ended. more

Sara saved my hair!! 2/26/2009

I was sick of trying new stylists and new salons and never being satisfied. Sara cut and colored my hair and I have never been so happy with my results! Not only was her work awesome but she was so knowledgable on what I needed to do to get my hair feeling soft and damage free!! more

Very talented stylist! 2/24/2009

I recently moved from Sacramento and was a little worried when I had to find a new stylist. I came across Kimberly Bailey at Moore Hair Design, and I couldnt be happier! Not only does my hair look amazing every time she colors and cuts it, but her company and hospitality is great too. She's very creative and extremely helpful when I need help deciding on a new look. This cozy salon is where I will continue to go for all of my salon needs. Pros: Cozy but still fashion foward more

Couldn't be better! 2/14/2009

I have to say that I had such an amazing experience at Moore Hair Design. I needed a new stylist and Jessica was recommended to me by a friend. She is fabulous! My color has never looked better! I have had compliments left and right from friends and coworkers! I am recommending her to all my friends. She was easy to talk to and you could tell she really new her stuff. She listened to me, but was also great with suggestions. Thanks again, Jess! Pros: Very charming salon and they sell Pureology ( Which is my fav) Cons: if you haven't been there you might need to map quest it, because it was kind of tucked away more

Moore Hair Design is Terrific! 2/10/2009

A little over a year ago I felt like I just needed a change in stylists. I read a ton of reviews, did as much research as I could, and ended up at Moore Hair Design in Holladay. I love it! It is convenient and has a really fun, comfortable atmosphere. My stylist is Kimberly and I am so happy with my hair with every cut and color. For me, Kim has the right balance of listening and understanding what I want, as well as having great ideas if I'm not exactly sure what specifics I want at the time. She is easy to talk to and a sweetheart! I have learned to style my hair better and love the compliments I receive after every appointment. I highly recommend Kimberly at Moore Hair Design! I LOVE Kimberly @ Moore Hair Design!! I am one of those people that never knows what they want when they make a hair appointment. I am sooo clueless about what would work with my baby fine hair :( Then I met Kimberly!! She puts up with a lot considering my indecisiveness, yet I always walk out of there looking amazing. I never have to worry about how I am going to recover from a new hair disaster. Kimberly always lets me tell her what I would like to see happen (again I am clueless) and she guides me in a direction that always turns out far better than I could imagine. Kimberly is amazing and I couldn't recommend anyone more!! more

I can't give enough praise! 2/8/2009

Moore Hair Design is amazing!!! Kimberly is the only person I let touch my hair now-I go to school in Boston and wait until my breaks to get my hair cut in SLC. I have really curly hair and she not only knows what to do with it, but makes it so I can style it myself and it ALWAYS looks good. She is amazing and fun and super nice. I have never found anyone who is so good with my hair. Pros: Cheap, best hair cut I've ever gotten-consistently! , everyone is so nice, great atmosphere Cons: NONE! more

Kim Bailey is a wonderful hair stylist! 2/8/2009

She is so much fun to be around and always gives me the best haircuts and colors. I like to experiment and I am always very happy with the outcome! She did my bridal updo for my wedding and I absolutely loved my hair and received so many compliments! The atmosphere is really nice and relaxing. Everyone there is really friendly. Best all around hair stylist in the West Kathy Tenegano 1/27/2009

Kathy Tenegano is my hair dresser at Moore Hair Design. I would consider myself a demanding client. She has always come through for me and given me that feeling of excitement and satisfaction when leaving the salon. She is so versatile. I use to go to 2 hair stylists one for hair extensions and one for color and cut, however now I only go to Kathy. She does my extensions, color, and cut. She will make you look good how you want her to and also keep you up to date with the current styles. I have referred several people to Kathy who have also been very pleased including: My mother, 3 sisters, and several friends they all continue to go to her. Even my sister who lives in California she waits for her visits home to get her hair done. Kathy is so sweet and makes you feel so accepted and comfortable when if her presence. She will always do her best to get you in short notice if you have an emergency and she doesn't ever rush and do a poor job. Kathy takes her time on everything your shampoo, your haircut, and education of color changing decisions. I would recommend her to anyone! Pros: Kathy more

Aleca Yates- esthetician 12/1/2008

I highly recommend this salon. It is very homey and relaxing. I had an appointment for a waxing with Aleca Yates and she was wonderful. She is very personable and made me feel very relaxed. She did a great job with my waxing. I will definately go back to her and highly recommend her if you have any Esthetician needs. This was my first waxing experience and Aleca made it a great one. See Kimberly for a HOT new short hair style- I just did! 11/18/2008

I went to Moore Hair Design for a style for a concert I was going to- Kimberly was my stylist. I ended up leaving there with the HOTTEST hair color and cut ever! I gave her some ideas with the pictures I had of what I was looking for, she added her own twist with her color style and it came out gorgeous! I have had so many compliments on my hair, its made me feel great! CALLY! CALLY! CALLY! I have been going to Cally for waxing for about a year now. I have gone to so many other estheticians all over the state of Utah and by far Cally is the best. She is clean, and nice and makes you feel comfortable. She knows how to do her job and does it very professionally and very well. She is very accomodating and always makes sure you are happy.
