I recently shipped a car from Chicago to California..and Montway has done and exceptional job. starting from reservation to company/driver that handled the transport. This was my first time shipping a car, and I got my car shipped within promised time frame without even a scratch on my car. Montway made it really easy! I called and spoke to Jason, who offered me a very competitive quote, and in addition he was not too pushy either...Once I made the reservation, they picked up the care within given time window and delivered it 1 day earlier than promised. The driver was extremely helpful in delivering to location to close to hotel where I was statying. I would totally give them 5 star except for one for call experience, when I called to update my credit card info and I had talked to a representative who seemed to not know clearly what he was doing, he told me my card declined, which wasn't the case I confirmed with my credit card,..but that was not a major concern of mine. \r They defi more

I have to say, this company is without a doubt THE WORST company I've ever dealt with in terms of customer service. I'm not one to run out and write bad reviews but they really rubbed me the wrong way. I'll keep it short. Agreed to ship a car through them via uShip. Called them to confirm and was on the phone holding forever because the guy that answered the line couldn't help - there was a special guy that had to book my order. They were extremely persistent when they wanted the business, but once it got booked, not a peep. I call to check in on the order the next day and am sent to an out of the country call center to a rep that had no idea when the car would be picked up. I asked about cancellation and was told TO SEND AN EMAIL because the live guy I have on the phone cannot help me with that. I immediately switched my order to another company that gave me a BETTER rate and actually handled my request like I was a human being. The worst part? A guy from Montway calls me to CHASTISE more

Great Experience 10/13/2014

Called for service on Wednesday, truck was picked up on Thursday and delivered Friday evening. Driver called me when he picked it up, once while on the way, then a few hours before he arrived with his ETA. Could not have gone more smoothly. Highly recommended. more

Five Star Transport Services 9/25/2014

It was a Sunday, our moving plans had changed suddenly, and we needed to have a car shipped within the next three days. I looked at transport company reviews and saw a lot of really bad things. I went to uShip and saw how highly rated Montway was; I looked up their website and was able to contact them (actually speak to a person) on a Sunday night--how about that?\r \r Montway promised to get back to me the next morning on whether they would be able to accommodate my need, and I actually did receive a call back first thing the next morning (Monday). They were not able to guarantee pick-up in three days but did guarantee 3-4 days and I was able to leave the car with a friend. Montway actually picked up the car in three days and it arrived in Nevada (from Ohio) seven days later (picked up on the main street closest to my house). I received email updates and phone calls along the way to let me know exactly what was happening and where the car was. Everything happened exactly the way t more

Great communication...Awesome service !!! This entire experience took very little activity on my behalf. The driver delivered my car 2 days earlier than scheduled ! 2013 Corvette 9/5/2014

Fast, reliable service. My 2013 corvette was picked up within one day after I paid the $199.00 deposit. The driver from SUV trans, Alex, was excellent. My corvette is very low to the ground and needed special attention coming on and off the enclosed trailer, Alex knew his stuff and always answered his phone when I had questions. My vette arrived in perfect condition and clean. Great job moving my car 2600 miles. more

If more stars could be given Montway would receive them! Prompt, courteous, careful and on time! This was a great experience and they are commended for their business ethics. Delivery 1200 miles away was within minutes from their estimation. So nice to see quality which hardly exists in today's world! more

Really Easy! 12/13/2013

I was shipping my car from MN to San Francisco. Montway made everything really easy and it was way less expensive than I thought it was going to be! The car came on the day it was supposed to and they driver was really nice. It took no time at all to get it off the truck and get me on my way. I thought that shipping was going to be a huge hassle and Montway made it easy! Thanks! more

Not bad overall 11/8/2013

I was moving a car from MN to OK. The transport was not as expensive as others. The initial contact was good. Representative was helpful. The only problem I had is they gave me a window of time they would move the car then called and said they would pick up the car in like 2-4 hrs. They gave no 24 hour notice. This is not acceptable. My order number is 64755. This company pays for good reviews...not sure if I will get my 25 dollars or not since I am being honest. Overall, I would use them again but they really should have given more pick-up notice. The drop-off notice was a little better but still less than 24 hrs. more

I filled out a pick-up request for the 18th on the internet. \r Received confirmation via email that they would contact me shortly\r The called the evening of the 18th to confirm pick-up.\r I told them it was too late--went with someone else. \r Person on phone asked me to send email back cancelling order--I did\r She then called me to say full refund. \r Then her dispatcher called--said they needed $199 cancellation fee--said they had a pick-up\r I asked when--they said the 21st--which was not the 18th \r when I told them we went with company x--they insisted company x could not pick up our car on the 19th. he kept bullying me to go with him and cancel company x. \r I went with company x and they picked up my car on the 19th!\r He then charged me a $199 cancellation fee--which is what you sign up for if you fill out a request on line --even if they don't meet the date you asked for--sounds like a one-way deal to me--Montways! more
