To those who poo-poo Miss Jeanne's School of Dance and the teachers who so once adjusted many sickled feet and many unturned toes, I suggest you go back and see what the individuals were going through at the time of your nasty comments! Not only was Miss Jeanne and Miss Barbara ill at the time of your nasty, tasteless tirade, but are you so aware of their untimely deaths within 6 months of each other? And to think that Miss Jeanne survived her granddaughter's murder and kept the studio going, and the mother, Miss Barbara, kept up a front as to what was going on in her personal life! I suggest before you make comments, you best do some research to back up your information. Miss Jeanne's was and is an excellent school of dance. As a former Sr. dancer, and a current teacher, yes - we had our struggles, however we grew through those pains and came out dignified, poised and ready to take on the world! Much more so than those who go to studios that throw up plaques which say, ""oh, I took dance for 5 years, so I have some information on becoming a dance teacher!"" I would think twice before entering my child into some of the studios in the Lehigh Valley. Do your research, observe, ask questions, be patient, because those who are uneducated remain that way.
