We were eating our dinner and the owner came over to check on us. When he found out that I went to college there in town he told me to come anytime and that we would get a discount

The food was very tasty, and fresh, with lots of interesting choices. The dessert which we split 3 ways was beyond delicious - a Napolean - made in a special way. The service was always attentive and very pleasant and everyone involved added a lot of flavor to our very enjoyable lunch.\r more

First time at Milestone's for myself, but my other 2 companions had enjoyed both lunch and dinner there and recommended we go for lunch. We chose to eat indoors and enjoy the cool air conditioning while sitting in a very comfortable, u-shaped, attractively designed, upholstered booth. The afternoon was quite warm and sunny so most other diners seemed to prefer the outdoor seating - artfully decorated for a sidewalk cafe on a very busy main street. The chef, who made sure we knew he was from Brazil, a combo of chef, waiter, and jack of all trades, was a complete ""hoot"" and kept us entertained and engaged throughout our delicious lunch. The waitress that ran back and forth between outside and inside was also super pleasant, accommodating, and professional, as was the owner who seemed to enjoy our bantering.\r more

Started with dolmades in avgolemeno sauce. Piping hot and five of them allowed us to share. I had the lamb shank and my SO had the special of lobster with risotto. Both arrived promptly and hot. Both meals were excellent. Service was very attentive. I had read the reviews of some before we went and was apprehensive. A pleasant surprise with food, beverage and ambience all great.\r more

I spent 3+ hours on the internet today seeking a reasonably priced restaurant with outdoor dining. I finally found Milestone in Wellesley, just 5 miles from my home of 15+ years. The sidewalk dining was peaceful, the food was terrific, the service was prompt and courteous and the prices were very reasonable. We can't wait to return to try breakfast and lunch.\r \r more

We've eaten lunch here several times recently and always enjoyed good service and outstanding food made with obviously fresh ingredients. I really enjoyed the lemon/egg soup and the salads and hummus were also delicious. Haven't had a chance to explore the entire menu but plan to go back.\r more

On the special chef's menu (Groupon menu) we were offered choices of an appetizer, soup or salad and an entree. Everything was delicious and the portions were generous. My friend and I each brought home half our main course. He had mussels for an appetizer which were very fresh and nicely prepared and I had Dolmades which were rice and meat stuffed vine leaves with an egg lemon sauce. We each had the house salad for the second course and found it to be good also. It had a variety of greens, a few haricot verts, bits of tomato and house dressing. For the main dish, I had the risotto and my husband had Chicken Valdostana which was chicken topped with prosciutto and mozzarella cheese in a safron cream sauce and asparagus. I think my friend made the better choices, but i enjoyed my choices also.\r more

I liked the atmosphere and especially liked the live music. We sat in one of the booths by the bar as they were expecting a few large groups. I actually liked it very much and we were closer to the music and the action. I mentioned it to the waitress that the music was nice and she stated that sometimes on Thursdays they have live music...so I guess we lucked out. By 7:30 the place was full and there was a nice vibe. I thought the service was friendly and attentive and I would recommend the Milestone.\r more

Their Iron Chef makes one of the best bolognese sauces I've ever tasted, and I've tried them everywhere from Il Sole and Madeo in Los Angeles, to local spots in San Gimignano, Italy. Gregarious owner Charlie Papakonstantinou would be Wellesley's mayor if it had one - he knows everyone and greets them with a smile. Enjoy this gem before the lines become too long. (they are OpenTable, so reservations from your Blackberry/iPod are easy to make)\r more

We took advantage of a sunny day and sat outside for and early dinner. The seared scallops and stuffed (with crab meat!) shrimp were delicious. The chicken keftedes (meatballs) and eggplant rollatini were equally good. The Greek horiatiki salad was a great mix of veggies, although a would have been better with a tad less salt. We never felt rushed at all and the wait staff were courteous and attentive without being overbearing. We'd definitely go here again.\r more

Have gone twice now in two weeks - sorry I waited that long to try it. 1st visit was a weekday - late in the evening. We had the marinated beet salad with glazed walnuts and field greens which had golden and red beets that were so fresh and sweet we thought they had been candied (they weren't). For entrees we had the baked cod with clams and broccoli rapi sauteed in white wine and garlic. I'm extremely picky about fish and it was cooked to perfection (which meant not overcooked!!). The dish was light and extremely healthy. It was not salty or dry. And beautiful presentation. My friend had the pasta with puttanesca sauce and said it was the best he had in a restaurant. No one tried to rush us out even though we were the last patrons.Second visit tried the tagliatelle with sausage, broccoli rapi, and mushrooms - excellent! The dish was well-balanced. Plenty of sausage, light sauce but with a rich almost earthy smoky taste. Bread was good both times (different each time) and a nice wine list. Service was excellent. Very friendly and attentive. The bar also has a really good vibe. The place is also spotless.\r more

Amazing risotto! Enthusiastic and friendly staff. I saw in description that it was listed as ""not good for kids,"" but the two kids in our group enjoyed it just fine. I also saw that it was listed as having no outdoor seating, but they have some nice tables out front. All in all, a fine addition to the downtown.\r more

Pancakes - My kids and I just got back from a great breakfast at Milestone! My kids all ordered pancakes which they ate all of (normally they don't finish their food) I had the potato pancakes with smoked salmon and it was awesome! Our waitress ( I think her name was ariel) was great with my kids and I really appreciated it. Good food and kid friendly is all I'm looking for in a restaurant and Milestone has both. I will definitely take my kids back here again!\r more
