I filed a grievance with my insurance carrier. Suddenly...my Doctor' medical assistant, the one who's policy seems to involve not returning my call, had turned into just about the nicest person. He was kind, attentive and re-affirming. \r I used these types of reviews as evidence to prove their lack of professionalism. \r I think the reception area just needed some enlightening. They must have fired the former manager.\r My Doctor is David Musicant and he's the best. I had no intent of leaving this office, and am glad to see improvements. more

I have been going here for 2 years. Yes the front desk has alot to be desired but my Dr. Longbottom is wonderful. She is caring and on top of things. I recommend her to anyone wanting a fantastic doctor!! more

My visit to Midvale Medical Center was hands down the most unprofessional Medical experience I have ever had, from the clueless and indifferent staff, to the medical care I received. It took them about a month to schedule a visit, all I needed was a sleep study referral, so I made the mistake of visiting this place.\r \r They took about 1 hour over my scheduled time to see me. I work at a hospital and I realize things rarely run on time, but this is unacceptable. Once I finally got in, I saw Dr Wadleigh, who took another 15 to 20 minutes to see me (AFTER I was put inside the visit room) for symptoms of insomnia. He wrote a prescription for a blood test and scheduled me for an ear cleaning. (The actual visit with this Doc was not too bad, though he seemed a bit indifferent. This place is likely completely overbooked in their pursuit of your money) T\r The tech they sent in had these words for me “I GUESS I am going to clean your ears out” (She didn’t look a day over 17 years old, and acted the part. Where do they find these techs and desk people? The lot of them appear to be clueless 17 year old kids) She proceeded to rough my ear up and hurt it with her rough and forceful treatment with the ear scope. She obviously did not want to be there, and made no attempt to hide it.\r After she was done, I was told to wait in the room. (For what? I don’t know, I made the mistake of following directions at this dump) about 15 minutes went by before I decided to get up and go to the front desk. The lady behind it informed me it would take about 10 business days for them to get my sleep study script. (W T F????) I decided to go with these clowns because my insurance was close to running out, (it was towards the end of the year)\r \r I finally received the script, while it was to a facility that was in-network, it wasn’t even written for the hospital I work for (where the study would have been free, these people DO NOT have your best interest in mind)\r \r Oh yeah, that was back in November of 2012, It’s January 23rd and I STILL DON’T HAVE MY BLOOD TEST RESULTS BACK.\r Don’t go to this place unless you have no other option.\r more

WORST RECEPTION AREA EVER!! 1/27/2012

I have been going here for several years because they do have good, caring doctors. The receptionist and medical assistants have a lot to be desired. The reception area is always a mess and never has any reading materials. Right now I am on hold and have been on the phone for almost 15 minutes, they keep picking up the phone and putting me right back on hold without saying a word. When you go in, they all (except one) act as if thier time is more valuable than yours and can be very rude-most of the time. The other thing in the reception area no one has control of thier children - they run amuck. The office manager/staff should get a handle on that as well. more

office staff are very rude and and act like they are doing you a favor or you are bothering them.Don't get me wrong there is one receptionist that is very nice but one out of three is not good.And the appointment desk is a joke I asked for my blood work order and she didn't take her eyes off of her ""art"" work on a folder, asked me my name looked for the order and said it wasn't there.Of course it was found by the doctors assistant.The doctors are very good but I don't think it is worth going through the front desk's rudeness.I feel they need to go through a refresher course on why they are there.If they are so unhappy in their profession they need to move on.This goes for the office manager also I called her to complain,it was difficult to get a word in she was very defensive about the staff.Maybe I should talk to the doctors directly or the medical board.Either way I will be moving to another doctor.good luck. more

What ever happened to Customer Service 2/9/2011

The call service is terrible. It would be nice to talk to a human??? I call in, leave a message, they call back and leave a message. I call in, leave a message, they call back and leave a message. I call back a third time, they have yet to call me back. I work night shift, I have left my phone on for 3 days waiting for the call. The Doctors are great, seem to care alot. more

That is if you find issues involving a complete lack of courtesy to be a laughing matter. I choose to be amused by them because my Doctor (Musicant) is very good. more

Worst experience ever 10/15/2009

I waited over an hour in the lobby. The only reading material they had was an auto parts catalog. The receptionists were very rude and didn't seem to care in the least about helping patients. Now it has been a month and I have still not been able to contact the doctor. I actually had to go to blood clinic to get my results directly. I called the receptionists and got an answering machine that promises they will call you back 'within 24 hours' but it has now been a week with no returned call. Save yourself a lot of stress and go somewhere else. Cons: Long wait, no reading material, rude receptionists more

Bad Office Staff, Acts Like They Don't Want You There 4/24/2009

When calling for an appointment you wait forever and then get some lame thing like ""Dr. is out today you'll have to make an appointment"". When you answer ""that's why I called the appointment line""you get ""Well I don't do appointments, let me transfer you"". Then you wait another half hour and start all over again. I finally made an appointment for the next monday I stated ""I went to the hospital yesterday and my BP was only 95 over 50. They said I should see my doctor immediately. Are you sure I should wait through the weekend?"" I asked if I could get an appointment the next day and they told me I had to call the next mroning. When I called the enxt morning it turned out they never made my Monday appointment. Said they had put into their computer I had hung up.\r \r Naturally, I am changing my doctor assignment to another agency today. I am a returning customer, imagine how they treat new patients. Pros: Dr. Schoenbaum seems very good Cons: Impossible to deal with staff on phone more

I have been seen by Dr. Schoenbaum and Dr. Musicant. Each doctor was very professional and took care of my medical needs. The staff personel were also very professional. Wait time once was minimal, and the other was average. Dr. Schoenbaum was especially helpful and took the time needed to listen to my concerns. Pros: Great care Cons: Older Building more

A TERRIBLE PLACE! 7/25/2008

I don't like the receptionists in this Dr's office at all! they are all mean! They are rude, They do NOT have any compassion for the patients, They are bad mannered. They talk 110 MPH! I will be asking my aunt to change her Dr because I don't want to go back there again! Their attitude sux. Their loss. more
