I love Peter! I have never had such great hair color. I wanted to darken down my color, which was getting so blond, but didn't want any reddish tones. Peter put in natural caramel low lights mixed with beautiful golden highlights. I considered cutting bangs, but Peter was honest in telling me that they wouldn't work on my hair given how wavy it is (and that it would be really annoying to maintain with straightening, blow-drying, etc.). Instead, he worked in very hot side-swept bangs and a shoulder-length cut. It's so easy to maintain. He has wonderful insight and is straightforward and honest...not to mention a very entertaining person to chat with during the duration of the experience. Highly recommend him! I went to Phillip because I wanted a change. My friends told me that if I was going to do a drastic change to spend the money to get it done right. Someone once told me that if you see a haircut that you love on someone, ask them where they had it done. I did that, and several of the people I asked had their hair done by Phillip Michael. I was nervous. Phillip took control and I trusted him. I came in with a picture and he told me in a nice way that it wasn't the look for my hair. Im glad he told me instead of just trying to take the fast money. Anyway, I had a great experience. They play great music ""satellite"" I did some E-mailing ""Wi-Fi"" while my hot, new color was processing. Everyone that was working there was doing really impressive work. I didn't feel like I was in the typical everyone wears black and we're gonna sell you a 100 bucks worth of products salon. I will definately go back. I am so happy with my new look, and am impressed with the creative vision it took to do it. GO TO THIS SALON!!!!! I went to Phillip Michael Studio a couple weeks ago after a disappointing appointment at another Baltimore salon..I was in need of a correction! I was beyond impressed with Phillip's energy, talent and commitment to satisfy. He not only does a beautiful job with color, cut and style but he is 100% devoted to his customer leaving the salon feeling georgous. I was looking for a new salon and was very pleased with Phillip Michael's. Phillip cut my hair and did a fantastic job. I decided to do a dramatic cut and I am very pleased with the outcome. I went to Phillip Michael for the first time last week, and couldn't be more pleased. He covered my ugly brassy store-bought color with a warm brown base and some honey-colored highlights that make me look like a movie star! I was just hoping for something decent to keep me from being embarrassed... and I walked out with a hairstyle I couldn't wait to show off. He took his time and told me everything he was doing, and also gave me a fantastic ""texturized"" cut that makes my hair swing and bounce beautifully. It was like he'd been doing my hair for years. I just moved to Baltimore two months ago from NY and I was dying for a haircut. I did not know personally of any good salons in the city and I was extremely nervous to change hair stylists ( I went to the same stylist for 5 years in NY). I scheduled an apppointment with Philip Michael, who is an extremly friendly and personable guy. He knew how nervous I was and he did everything in his power to make me comfortable. Not only did I have a blast just talking to the guy, but my hair cut came out great. He is seriously a great stylist who really knows how to cater to your face shape and hair type. A true artist! Philip Michael also called me 5 days later to ask me how I felt about my new hair style! I will definetly be going back.
