This company installed a new AC unit in my house a few years ago. I believe it was March 2012. Since the install they have had to come out several times to fix the unit due to poor installation. I have never been charged for the service calls, and they act like they're doing me a favor by fixing something that they did not install correctly. The dates of the visits are 9/26/12, 4/25/13, 7/7/13 and 6/1/15. On the last call I noticed the floor in my hallway was bubbling up and curving on the edges because the AC was leaking . I called them out and when the tech got there he immediately thought that the pipes were backed up so he was going to clean them. When he started taking everything apart he discovered the drain pipe connection had been cracked by the last tech who touched it. He said it was over tightened. That would be the installer who touched it last. These words came directly out of his mouth. Because of this the company waived the fee for the service call. They also waived the fees for parts and labor to fix the system. They made the remark that they would not collect the money as a gesture of good faith after I reported them to the BBB. The complaint is published on the BBB website and you can see where they made a remark about that. So the company admitted fault and acknowledged the damage. They sent the service manager out who also acknowledged the damage. The service manager was also the original installer in 2012. After a month and several phone calls the service manager finally sends a contractor out to get an estimate for the repairs to be made to the floor. Once he took that estimate back they changed their attitude and the floors were not their problem anymore. My impression is its a fly by night company. That's kind of harsh but it took 5 visits for them to get the system running correctly. On top of that it cost me $3300, my flooring in my hallway and countless hours calling them to come out and being present for them to work. A very bad experience. All I want is my floor repaired. That seems pretty fair to me.
