Service with a smile 3/11/2014

These guys are so friendly, unlike so many other NYC repair teams I have tried in the past. They really make you feel important, and take time out to explain the repairs as they go along. John has been to my property twice in the last few months to fix my fridge and also my retro oven. He is always smiling and happy whatever the weather, and moreover he always gets the job done! more

Cannot fault John 2/17/2014

As a landlord with several tenants at one time, it can sometimes be hard to keep track of all my appliances, when they were serviced, and which ones need repairs. Thankfully I can rely on John, and I know that even if I cannot attend when he carries out the work, the price he charges will be fair and the job will be well done. more

Would never use anyone else for my repairs 1/12/2014

As the owner of a motel, I have plenty of appliances in my kitchen as well as for cleaning. I phoned these guys when my hotplate stopped working, and John came just hours later and located the problem with no fuss at all. He allowed me to get on with my business and avoided angry and hungry customers. more

Fastest service around 12/10/2013

Repairmen usually let me down. That was until I met John from Metro Appliance repair. He was quick, efficient, turned up on time, and fixed my oven in no time at all. Perfect! more

Friendly company 12/1/2013

I hate talking to answer phones or booking appointments online; I prefer to speak to someone in person. So, when my cooker broke I phoned Metro Appliance Repair to come and take a look. The lady I spoke to was really friendly and asked me when would be a good time to come! Now that’s what I call a friendly service! John was able to come the same evening when I was home from work and he even fixed my cooker on the spot. more

Too busy for appliance repair? 10/14/2013

I tried a multitude of different appliance repair companies in New York City. Some seemed friendly enough, but actually getting a time for them to come and repair my cooker was nigh on impossible. Every single one wanted to give me a whole day that they ‘may’ turn up. Honestly, I cannot deal with this. I am a very busy person (as most of us are!). I was pretty much giving up on my repair until somebody recommended this company. I gave them a call and they gave me a specific hour timeframe that they would turn up. This is something which nobody else had done. And guess what? They actually turned up dead on time ready to work! If you are too busy for any other appliance company then you need to work with these guys! more

And once again…..my freezer freezes! 10/4/2013

Seems like a common problem on this page is that the fact that many of us own freezers which give up at one point or another i.e. fail to freeze. I am not sure whether it is because we all have the same brand or not. Anyway, my freezer stopped freezing. I gave John a call and he knew what the problem was straight away (I described in length down the phone!). As he knew the problem in advance he turned up, fixed it, and everything was done within the hour. That my friends is what I call service! more

fixed my gas oven with ease 8/18/2013

Surprised that they had all the parts to hand for my pretty old gas oven, when it has broken in the past other teams needed to order them in, took weeks. These guys took hours. more
