Oak Creek Dental Care

the previous post from the person who states they got all of the lies seems highly unlikely. there is an pre-appointment meeting where they have you sit down with someone before you see the dentist, and that person explains your insurance and exactly what is covered. i was then given a full tour of the office, saw the dentist, was given the option to do my root canal right then if i wanted to, but was first given time with a consultant who went over all of my options for finances, as well as exactly what i was responsible for and what my insurance would pay, and before they do anything you sign a piece of paper and pay 20% up front. they are very clear and very helpful. this was one of the best dental office experiences i have ever had. the previous poster clearly wanted something to complain about, or didn't bother to pay any attention at all throughout the entire process. more

I made an appointment specifically to have a tooth fixed that had broken. I made it clear that I wanted it done in one visit. I was told this was no problem. THIS WAS A LIE! I showed up for the appointment. They took exrays, then asked me when I would like to schedule the appointment to have the tooth fixed. I told them that I had asked specifically to have this done in one day and was told that it was no problem. I was told that they must have misunderstood my request, that I would have been told differently if they understood what I was wanting.\r I asked when I made the appointment if they were a 'participating provider' for my insurance company. I was told yes. THAT WAS A LIE! I later received a bill for another $85 over the $100 I was originally quoted. When I called to ask about this I was told that they accept my insurance, but that they don't have a 'contract' with them and therefore I was responsible for what they didn't cover\r I made payment arrangements with them because I didn't have the full amount available. I was told that as long as my payment was received by the due date I would not be charged a late fee. THIS WAS A LIE! My payment was due on the 18th, they received it on the 15th. Late fee was charged since I didn’t pay in full. \r more

Best dentist I’ve ever been to! Top quality service, short waiting time, awesome price, and easy to find location! I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Firstly, finding Oak Creek Dental was a piece of cake since they have a giant sign by the road. I was incredibly happy I didn’t have to squint all over the place trying to see if I could find it. When I arrived I was greeted by friendly staff at the desk, and taken for a tour of the facility, which I thought was pretty cool. My waiting time was definitely shorter than any previous dentist office I’ve been. After being taken to my “room,” the friendly staff explained what all would be done, and answered all of my questions even if they probably seemed ridiculous. It was obvious they cared and wanted to make sure I was comfortable. The service itself felt very thorough and detailed. It was great! They even gave me some numbing mouth wash beforehand because my gums can be sensitive. The price was also cheaper than I’d expected based on my previous experiences with other dentists. I recommend Oak Creek Dental to anyone looking for a dentist, and I will be returning to their office shortly to get some more work done on my teeth! Give them a try - you won’t regret it! more

On my last visit to your office, I had an unpleasant experience in my deep cleaning procedure. The dental assistant, Marcy, injected the needle used for numbing the gum tissue too far into my jaw. Since then I have been having pain in my right jaw and ringing in the right ear. I had hoped the initial pain from that day would have subsided by now, but it hasn't and is becoming very annoying. I can only say, that upon my next visit, more precaution should be taken not to go too deep with the needle in preparation for the cleaning. I also need to have my partial adjusted. Food is becoming trapped underneath it. Also it is hurting on the right side. more

Everyone is very nice and professional! And they make your visit as comfortable as possible. I have no complains at all! I have referred other people to this offce. more

The dental hygenist was able to locate a problem area ( gums ) that I was not even aware of ! She advised me what to do and is going to take a look at this area again in 10 days to look for improvement ! Catching periodontal disease early is the key ! Thank You so much Kristy ! more

Was a new patient at Oakcreek Dental and was amazed at the greeting at the front desk prior to any service being provided. Everyone was extremly friendly and kept me informed. Once there it was determined I needed a cavity filled and they were able to take care of it THAT same day!! Talk about convenient! I am so glad I choose to go to Oak Creek dental b/c working in healthcare I know that customer service at times can be lacking but here I received great dental care, but amazing customer service as well!!! more

I am a new patient to Oak Creek. I am so impressed with the caring professional staff. They go above and beyond to make sure your needs are met. I decided to have some major dental work done with the IV sedation. It was such a wonderful experience. My smile is great! I felt so safe and comfortable with the IV sedation. I've been going to Oak Creek Dental since 1998. My last appointment was 11/2/11. I remain a huge fan of this office. Dr. McDuffee and his staff are the best. I would never move my dental care to another office. I am extremely fortunate to have been referred there by a friend 13 years ago. Considering that I have always HATED going to the dentist, my continued satisfaction with this office is a huge gold star of APPROVAL! more

Everyone was great! the only feedback that I have is...I was not very comfortable with the fact that the treatment stations are open and you can hear the people right next to you. I would prefer to have the rooms enclosed. I don't really want to hear other patients having work done, nor do I want them to hear me. In a medical atmosphere, I prefer more privacy. Other than that, the staff was great!! more

I really used to hate going to the dentist, but the team at Oak Creek has made it such a wonderful experience for me. I'm able to relax, knowing I'm in good hands, and the sedation is a miracle. I even received a follow-up call from the dentist the day after my procedure to make sure I was doing well. I have no plans on going to any dental office other than Oak Creek ever again. Not Having been to the dentist in several years this was an exceptional experience. The staff is (was) super at explaining every detail of my exam from start to finish. I was taken on a tour of the Department and introduced to the staff I felt as if I were on an interview, totally awesome! The exam, very thorough. I highly recommend this dental group. more

Always on time....never get to read the magazines in the waiting room. Always put me at ease....22 years later they treat me like family. Always considerate of my financial situation...lots of "plans" available for work done. Always go out of their way to work me into the schedule for dental emergencies...like today. They will be my "dental team" until one of us dies. more
