We were in Las Vegas for 4 days for a "celebration of life" for a dear friend who had passed. 23 of us traveled there and we heard about Maverick helicopter trips to the Canyon from friends that went the day before we arrived. OUR EXPERIENCE WAS WONDERFUL! Marc, our pilot was extremely knowledgeable & funny, and we were very comfortable with his expertise of the aircraft. It was a trip of a lifetime! Amazing views, delicious champagne-the atmosphere on the landing was incredible. We've been talking about it for weeks! I recommend everyone try to do this at least once! If we ever return to Vegas, we'll be doing it again! more

My husband and I took Vegas Strip Night Tour on June 24th. This was a surprise Anniversary gift for my husband and we had a wonderful experience!! The whole tour was so professional from start to end, our pilot was friendly and made us feel comfortable before the flight. The whole trip was excellent from beginning to end! The pilot , Matt was very friendly and made the trip enjoyable! He explained and answered all questions during the entire trip! This trip to the Grand Canyon was the highlight of my trip and I would do it again in a minute! I also will recommend Maverick to everyone! The helicopter ride was very nice with a first rate class helicopter! Also the flight over the downtown Vegas and along the Strip was a great way to see Vegas from the air and Hoover Dam and Lake Mead was outstanding! Overall I rate everything 5 Stars+++++++ Highly recommended!!!!! more

The whole trip was amazing. Our pilot was Jason and he was excellent. I would recommend anyone to do this trip.I was very apprehensive to start with, as I had read reviews saying how not all the views were good in the helicopter and the space as well. I have a disability, and the room was really good, never felt that I was being rushed and the overall views out of the helicopter from all seats was fantastic. Landing in the Canyon and having Champagne topped it off. It was our 25th anniversary, and it really made it for us as a lasting special memory. Thanks Maverick and Jason. more

It was a little bit difficult to find Maverick in the airport but once found all went well. At check in I told the assistant that I had done other helicopter trips in different countries but never been lucky enough to sit in the front I was always middle back seat. She advised me that it was worked out on weight ratio which I understood but she said that she would see what they could do. It was wonderful my husband and I was in the front seats and we just have the most amazing views and information from Billy our pilot. I was picked up at the designated time from my hotel in Vegas and transported to the airport. The check in process was good and I didn't wait long before pilot Matt Jahnke came ushered me and 4 others to our helicopter. He instructed us on the safety procedures, seat belts and the radio headphones. I had some issues with a sloppy fitting shoulder belt. I liked the choice of music pilot Matt used in our flight to the Grand Canyon and he was very informative. I especially enjoyed the canyon landing and the Champagne breakfast. It was a really special way to enjoy the Grand Canyon. I also enjoyed the later walks along the canyon edge and view points with the bus shuttles. It was unfortunate I couldn't take photos on the Skywalk, but the included lunch was fine. I was on the full 6 hour tour, but maybe a little more time at the canyon viewpoints would have been even better. The little air & bus terminal at Canyon West was very crowded upon our return, but our pilot Matt was there to guide us away from the mayhem to our helicopter for our return to Vegas. He flew us over the Strip on our way back to the airport. I didn't have to wait at all and I was transported back to my hotel. I would definitely recommend Maverick tours for a once-in-a-lifetime Grand Canyon flight. more

Definitely chose the best tour and well worth the money. The pilot James was 1st class, so informative and being as it was our first helicopter flight was very reassuring. more

My wife and I flew from McCarran airport, Las Vegas, to the Grand Canyon with our helicopter pilot Jared on 20th March, 2013. The trip was one of the first of the day. Jared was not only informative and helpful, but also a nice guy. After flying some distance down the Canyon, we landed for breakfast of Danish and champagne in the Canyon some 300ft above the river. We flew back a slightly different route and re-fuelled. On reaching Las Vegas, we were flown Downtown and then along the Las Vegas Boulevard back to the airport. For us, this was the highlight of our short break - beating the rest of Las Vegas hands-down. more

Tyson, our pilot did a fantastic job! Flying the chopper and giving all the information. He flew his machine as close to the highlights as possible. The flight plan was planned perfectly to arrive back in Vegas just after the sunset and to have the most incredible view as night set and the lights came on. Unforgettable. Thank you! more

This day was a special day for us and Maverick did not let us down, from the ride to and from the hotel to the office staff and Mike our pilot (huge bonus points for him). First class all the way through this company, would recommend to anyone. Only beef is that I received my DVD today of our flight and there is a big problem with the audio, the video is excellent. I have emailed Maverick about this, waiting to here their response othe than the audio on the DVD would fly with them anytime. more

We booked a helicopter for us two alone, as we wanted to enjoy the Sunset Dreamcatcher Tour ourselves. By accident Maverick gave us the only German (Heiko) pilot for our helicopter. That gave us a superb experience as we had all the sights and history explained in German and also had a chance to do the chatting with him in German. Needless to say that Heiko also speaks English fluent. For us it was an exciting and romantic experience and Heiko was the icing on the cake. Thanks to Heiko, Thanks to Maverick! Our experience with Maverick was one to never forget. The tour was well organised from start to finish, with great facilities and information at the reception the wait / check in was smooth and conveniant. Our pilot for the trip, Joel, was fantastic! Relaxed and easy going he shared his wealth of knowledge with us for the whole trip, happily answering all manner of questions and making the whole experience all the more enjoyable. The scenery blew us away, the service was outstanding and it was the trip of a lifetime. We would happily book more trips with Maverick in the future if we return to Las Vagas, and will certainly highly recommend the company to friends. more

This experience was unique for us. We can only recommend to book a flight by Maverick. Everything was perfectly organized. Although at the first sight a bit more expensive than other one - but the facts from service and the really flight time of 1:30 are every dollar worth ! Thanks for the great flight more
