I come here all the time especially during lunch I love their food and their salsa.

Worst

I swear John Anagnopoulos is the rudest person I have ever came across in my life. My husband and I have been going there for years and had the worst experience this weekend. He c...

Good service and food 3/17/2011

I went here for breakfast with some friends and had a great time! The place is HUGE! They had a mariachi band playing live going from table to table. And I ordered the chorizio and eggs with flour tortillas and hash browns and I devoured everything on my plate! I like going here cuz the food is consistant and the service is good. Make sure when you go there to check out the wall to your right, just before you walk into the bar, you'll see a ton of photo's of the owner with local sport celebrities, actors, and politicians which is cool to see. more

Soo Good! 3/11/2011

I was in the area on my way to the convention center when I stopped in for some lunch.  Place is only a half a block from the convention center so location was awesome! I know the place seems to be geared for Mexican cuisine, but their menu was a little all over the place.  They have sandwiches, Mexican food, and Mediterranean food.  I went with a grilled cheese sandwich, why not.  It was a huge grilled cheese on sour dough bread nice and buttery with a huge side of seasoned fries. It was soo good! I asked for a side of ranch and it was yummy!  I don't eat downtown to much but if I go to another convention I'll sure stop in for another grilled cheese. more

Great Atmosphere 3/8/2011

This place is family owned and operated with a great atmosphere and a location to die for right in between Chase field and US Airways Center. The food is great and the bar is well stocked and if your a regular they will greet you by name and treat you like a member of the family. I highly recommend this place for either a quick lunch or a great dinner before the game! more

While the Mexican food is pretty good, surprisingly they have a really good Greek Salad and pita bread too! more

Truly authentic mexican food 2/3/2011

My husband and I stopped at this restaurant when we were in Phoenix a few months ago. The atmosphere there was really like walking in to a family members house. The aroma coming out of the kitchen was overwhelming. The food was really delicious especially the chips and salsa. more

Excellent 1/24/2011

Excellent Mexican food and conveniently located in downtown Phoenix, just across the street from the Wyndham and Hyatt Regency hotels. I was in a lunch salad mood and ordered their Taco Salad ($6.95 and HUGE). They had one of the very best hot salsas I've had in a large Mexican restaurant yet. Their milder salsa was also good, but their hot salsa was OUTSTANDING. Inspite of being a popular food and watering hole, service was friendly, courteous and prompt. No one at our table had "greasy food" complained of by another reviewer. I will visit it next time I'm in Phoenix as it's almost good enough to justify the trip by itself! more

Great Omelette Options 12/23/2010

I've been here for multiple breakfasts for work meetings, but I bet this would also make a great hangover-cure spot. The hashbrowns are greasy and piled high, just the way I like them. They also have some great omelette options. more

very unique 11/24/2010

The daily lunch specials are a good deal, and the unlimited chips with a very unique salsa combo are excellent. I recommend the Tuesday special – Red beef burrito. more

It has a variety of things on the menu. The wait staff was excellent. Our drinks weren't quite right. So he fixed them no problem! more

it was delicious 10/6/2010

i braved the gyro - a risky move, but i banked on "homemade cucumber dressing" that came with it. shocking - it was delicious. the pita was toasty golden, with plenty of thinly sliced, bacon shaped pieces of gyro, along with onion, tomato, pickle (weird) and fries. the food came out literally two minutes after we ordered, so it was HOT and good. more

yum yum yum 10/5/2010

It's always truly enjoyable. 9/2/2010

I've only ever had breakfast here so I can't speak to the rest of the menu on any given day. That being said this was the 3rd time. I love their Chorizo and eggs, flavors o'plenty. Yes I am a fan and will continue to be. The place is very clean and the servers gave me all the attention I could possible stand. Parking as with any downtown eatery could be a little problematic but quite doable if you allow enough time. This is one of those favorite places that you go to again and again when your coming from out of town and you don't want to eat at a chain establishment and want some local fair... I travel a fair amount an you can't get a breakfast like this in the mid-west or back east. It's always truly enjoyable. more

the Best 8/26/2010

The Huevos Rancheros are the Best. I come a long way just to eat them. more
