reasonable prices 5/23/2011

Pat had the tacos with beef and he was really happy with them. He thinks that maybe – they were the best tacos he’s ever had. Super fresh ingredients, nice staff and reasonable prices. more

delicious 5/12/2011

I had a great time there. There’s some convenient street parking out front. I thought the decor was really nice. It had a good vibe. Their house salsa is some of the hottest stuff I’ve eaten. Maybe it’s because I’m a gringa, maybe it’s because I’m from Ohio. Who knows! I had a chimichanga which was delicious. Very moist chicken and what tasted like a house made flour tortilla. more

Good food and prices 4/29/2011

Great place I'd give the service an 9, we did get our dinner rather quickly. I had the machaca burrito smothered, super good. Price was decent also. All in my part will be going back, which is the most important thing! more

Really liked Matador 4/26/2011

Our food came out fairly fast, and then the Mariachi started I really liked that. My lil niece enjoyed it as well. The food was good and satisfying. more

Fun place to eat 4/22/2011

I go here often for just one thing---The Menudo! It is a Mexican version of Vietnamese Fau(sp?) Soup. I get all the fixin's with it: red pepper flakes, oregano, lemon wedges, chopped onions, and cilantro! Mixed all together and spoon away! They ask you if you want corn or four tortillas...I get the corn, which adds more flavor to the experience, then a bland flour tortilla will. Menudo at this restaurant, is served all through the week, though typically at other Mexican food restaurants, it is served primarily on Saturday and Sunday...Not sure why? The seating can hold large parties of up to thirty or more or a comfy couple....The setting is strangely old, and on Sundays there is a Mariachi band that comes around and woos you to another time and space in Mexicana Latin Style and flair! more

The huevos rancheros are the best! 4/20/2011

I have tried to find better Huevos Rancheros in the Valley. Nothing compares with yours. They are the best. more

I can't wait to go back 4/13/2011

Well being a mexican- american myself the food was very traditional and delicious. People may think some foods are spicy, but that is because that it is just the American taste buds of non Hispanics. True Mexican food always gives you a kick of flavor unlike blant American food that we eat every day. I liked the way tortilla chips were served at the beggining of the meal and the waiter was nice. The overall apperance of the place was entertaining and the art fantastic. I really enjoyed eating here and it was different from the odinary eat and go restaurants of Phoenix, AZ. I highly recommend this place. more

clean atmosphere 4/11/2011

Their Lunch specials are GREAT & affordable! Especially the Taco, enchilada and rice w/ beans meal! Great food for under $7! You can't go wrong! Great flavor, friendly service, clean atmosphere. more

Great! 4/5/2011

My wife and I had a great breakfast there in March. My wife order their Huevos Rancheros and I had Machaca & eggs burro. Both were very good. The service was fine also. more

great food 3/31/2011

this restaurant features a mix of Greek and Mexican food. Sounds strange, but it works. They have traditional offering of both genre's, or interesting combos like a spinach enchillada. more

Very Good 3/30/2011

I love the chorizo at this place. It may be the best I have ever had and it is consistently perfect. I also love the atmosphere and location. A perfect morning for me would start at sitting along the windows in front in a booth while eating chips, salsa, chorizo, & coffee? ha ha, yes I drink coffee with my chips and salsa at this place. I cant help it, I am a fan of Matador and I am sticking to it. The bar seems cool and I have never been here for dinner but I am sure it is gets busy since it is a very large place. Also the hot sauce is very good here, it has a nice garlic flavor and spicy just like I love it. I usually mix it with the regular salsa so my family can share. more
