Looked for 3 months. They had the best deal. Some of my neighbors had a Masters Spa. I had already sat in one and liked it. Greta neck and shoulder jets. Lots of power! I have owned many spas before and the Master Spa is the BEST! Big jets in the right areas. Very quiet and easy to maintain. The neck jets are to die for. The Foot Blaster jets are wicked awesome. No wonder they have won so many awards. I asked the reps why all the bad reviews? He said that they are most likely upset competitors. He said If someone has service problems with their spa they get paid $60 a hour for warranty service work...The rep said it's similar to everyone gunning for the SuperBowl winners. They showed me files from 10,000 spa owners and said choose any file and call them. So I did. I called 4 customers and 3 answered and I spoke to them. They sounded like they were good friends of the owners or sales reps and they were all happy with everything! When reading the other reviews that all give 1 star, they are all suspect...Yeah it looks like they are the competition. If they were really customers there probably would be 2,3 and 4 stars... Pros: This spa is the best I have ever owned Cons: They are pricey , but worth it more

When the product works, it's great, but when repairs are required, it's expensive. Apparently, Master Spas of CA only sells product as opposed to a full-service dealer which provides service post-sales. As other posts indicate, don't count on return phone calls, with more than three calls in three weeks, this dealer obviously doesn't understand the concept. If you can, it's strongly recommended that you AVOID giving business to Master Spas of CA. If you have done your research thoroughly, you will see there are many cases where the product purchased requires in warranty repair, which would be performed by the dealer. However, since this dealer is not reputable, the effort to have the product repaired becomes unnecessarily more difficult, costly and time consuming. At a time when service is most critical and tends to be what separates the wheat from the chaff, Master Spas of Ca doesn't get it and therefore, is unworthy of your business. We put a deposit on a swim spa last August at the OC Fair. I told the sales rep that I wasn't certain that we'd be able to physically place the spa in our back yard. The salesman told me not worry, that the $5000 deposit was refundable if they were unable to deliver the spa. Well, it turns out that due to some high power lines across the back of our yard, the only way we could get the spa in was to bring a crane into our neighbor's driveway and swing the spa over the neighbor's garage. The crane co. told us that the driveway would most certainly be damaged, and we needed written permission from our neighbor to proceed. Not surprisingly, our neighbor said ""No"". We called Master Spas to tell them that we could no longer purchase the spa from them since we weren't able to get it into our yard. We even asked if a smaller spa might work out instead, but we still had the same problem because our gates were too narrow. When we asked for the deposit to be refunded as promised, they said ""no way!"". And click! they hung up. Their promise of a refundable deposit isn't worth much. We're not done with them, but since they screen their calls and don't answer when we call, it'll have to be done through our attorney. Find another company to purchase your spa. Pros: product looks good Cons: we don't get a spa and we don't get our money back! more

First Portable Spa I've Owned. Master Spas was recommended highly by my neighbor, who is a sports medicine doctor, he said alot of pro athletes have master spas. They had theirs for 5 years and love it. I got the cool LED fiber optical lights and a stereo. I bought a floor model and they included them in the price. It's easy to use and I don't have to use Chlorine. It has a ECO FRESH Filter system, It only costs about $20 a month to operate. I moved into a house not knowing anything about spas so I called the Master Store and they were very helpful. I didn't want a spa. I asked what they would give me for it. They said why don't you try it for a few months and you probably will want to keep it. So I did and I love it! The neck and foot jets are wonderful. It's much better than a bathtub spa. If you are not sure you want one wet test one and you will be hooked. I'm a teacher and it's great knowing that no matter how stressful the day is I can relax in my spa later that night. I wet tested all the other major brands after doing research. The Master was best, hands down. It had better flow and it has a bunch of jets. I don't need to use chlorine at all. My pool is used 5 months a year. The Swim Spa will be used 12 months a year. I've lost 20 pounds in 3 months and my wife has lost 15. This is the most fun exercising we have ever had. I feel 20 years younger...I highly recommend the Master Spa swim spa. I'm an engineer and very picky (my wife says) and this is the best investment we've made. I have bought 7 spas from them over the past 6 years and my clients love them. My reputation is at stake with every product I install or recommend and the people at Master Spas always come through. Their spas have powerful jets and they are adjustable. They don't cost a lot to operate according to my clients. I have a Swim Spa from them and I love it. You can swim in it just like a pool but it costs less to run and you never have to do flip turns. Another cool thing about their spas is you don't have to use chlorine in the Master Spas, They have this Eco clean filter system. The water is purer and fresher... Take it from a builder...you'll like the Master Spa...I send my clients to the factory web site to watch all the cool videos... I have owned 4 other spas over the last 20 years and this is the best! I don't have to use Chlorine anymore!\r The Neck Jets, Foot Jets and Back Jets massaged all the right Places. Being a Doctor I see patients that suffer from lack of sleep, Stress, chronic diseases and depression.\r All of these things can be helped with most spas, but the Master was defintely the best after trying out the latest spas in Orange County...Before I bought I was encouraged by Mike to try his Master Spa vs. any brand. I did. I must say I was impressed. It had better power. It was quiet. The water smelled better. He told me that they have a ECOPUR water filter system that uses minerals instead of alot of chemicals...I have enjoyed the spa for almost a year and everything has been great. I have referred 11 patients and friends over the past year and they have all been very happy...He also showed me that they won the ""Take the Spa Challenge"" where hundreds of consumers wet tested spas and gave their comments and rated all products. 92% of people chose Master Spas. He also showed me that they won Consumers Digest BEST BUY, They had the highest Quality rating of any spa company at SpaSearch magazine. \r \r We did have one service call. MasterSpa of Southern California is so aweful, MasterSpa CORPORATE had to provide me with another service for my STS spa, because MasterSpa of Southern California is an unacceptable and unreliable hassle. I purchased my spa through them at the L.A. County Fair and to this day, several years later, regret ever giving them my business. They, too, attempted to start charging me a trip charge, even on warranty work they never repaired correctly. I had to get corporate involved because Linda and the rest of her family was not getting the job done. \r Not getting the repairs done is the main issue, but what about the days and hours I had to be home to watch their one tech attempt to do the same work over and over; not kidding this took more than a year, complete hassle. \r Bottom line, the product itself is a quality product, but the distributor for Southern California is tarnishing the name MasterSpa. If anyone is interested in more details, catch me on another day. Today, I do not have the time to go on and on how MasterSpa of Southern California was beyond disappointing, but I feel for SeaRay55's pain; I have been there. I actually was searching for Tim's Spa Pro (or Pro Spa) as he rectified most of MasterSpa of Southern California damage, and wanted to get him out for service, this is when I saw ratings for MasterSpa of Soutern California. It should be simple-- We were looking and were sold on a swim spa (H2X) was told all kind of cool things it can do and (YES) it does-- We love it when it works. But !!!!!!!!!!! less then a year old and every part replaced (ah) is this a joke (sorry) to say NO!!!!! Lets see, we fill it with water, follow the start up process, set the timer to keep it clean, then, and i think this is where we failed. We turned it on to use it ( oh shoot ) it doesn?t work. Let's call for service (now) service and service techs-- ya one (1) tech for so cal -- wait, they said they had techs all over and guess what, they bill us for travel (lets look at the contract--- nope. NO ONE can see where that?s stated..
