I have had Master Electrical do several jobs for me now. They are not inexpensive but their work is worth the cost. I wanted a professional company that would stand by their product. I had them install lighting around my house, a new fuse panel in my utility room and they ran an entirely new master service. They did big work for me and I had very little issues and the issues I did have they quickly resolved. The main electrical service install was a huge job and just a month later I could hardly tell where they had to dig my entire yard up. JD has been my main point of contact and he has demonstrated an outstanding knack for what I wanted to do and making sure that the end result was high quality. Why not 5 stars. There was a moment in the main electrical install that I had to ask them to come back to reinstall a part of the electrical line. I had to really push to have some work redone (JD came through). At the beginning of the project I was concerned as were local inspectors and the electric company about the way the new panel had the service running into it. In the end I don't think the service was installed the best way. I would have liked that initial install to be more standard than what they installed. They reassured me it was okay but I was never happy with it and in the end JD had his colleagues come out and rerun the line. I think with better initial planning that could have been avoided. With such a big job there was wasted time and energy and a missed opportunity to do the right way the first time. In the end Master Electrical has been great. They stood by their work. I will for sure call them for future projects - I know from experience they will work until I am happy wit the result. more

I've never had to use an electrical company before so I was a bit leery at first. However that quickly changed with the friendliness of the service tech who came to my house. Very respectful, knowledgeable, and upfront about costs. He took time to explain the issues and how he was going to fix them for me. I won't use any other company! These guys are great! more

Friendly and skilled review. JD was very explanatory on codes and processes. Bid for kitchen living room was accurate. The set labor and material costs left no questions, but some concerns. Will have to get some more bids to ensure that this company is competitive with other electrical service companies more

From start to finish JD was a pro. The goal was to get a lot more power into my garage. My electrical situation only afforded enough power to run one power tool, otherwise I would trip the breaker and have to go up two floors (where my box was) to turn it back on. Before JD I had two other companies come and give me quotes. Both said my only solution was to tap into the circuit box on my third floor. Which in a town home and a strict HOA meant that extensive work had to be done to take it down through the middle of my home rather than the exterior. [insert hero music] Then JD Casperson came by. I explained what the others companies said, and what they had quoted me. He then asked me to open my garage so he could take a look around the home. He found a box, with the direct line into my home...right outside the garage. He said he could simply tap into that, put a box on the otehr side of the wall, and run conduit pipe to my different electrical needs. His quote was about $1000 less, and clearly backed behind way more industry knowledge than his peers. When installed the guy was a wizard with bending pipe. The stuff looks like it was forged for my garage. Not only that but he was fast. In the end he reminded me about a coupon that saved me an additional $100. Outstanding service and skills. Thanks JD, if I need anything done in the future there isn't any other electricians in Utah as far as I'm concerned. 10/10 and 5 stars. more
