I have been coming to Masellos' for 15+ years. Tony is very honest and always stands behind his work. I have recommended his shop to many people.

Worst

Sorry I couldn't leave 0 stars. $170 for rear break shoes. $9 for spray lubricant? $5 for a sanding disc? I'll never do business with this thief again!

They fix it right the first time. 4/20/2012

I've been going to Masello's for auto repair for nearly two decades. They always fix it right the first time. Tony and his service technicians are professional, polite and experienced. They are also have integrity. Once I thought my car needed new brakes so I took it in to have them check. Tony said I had at least another year with the brakes. He was right. It wasn't until a little more than a year later that I needed new brakes which I had Masello's install. Great people, great service. You can't go wrong. more

If they can't fix it - junk it. 2/9/2012

I have been dealing with this crew all of their 30 years and then some. They truly care about the safety of your car and you driving it. They are courteous, honest, and will certainly do whatever it takes to guarantee that you are a satisfied customer. Whenever you need them you can count on them for emergencies or regular maintenance. Their knowledge and expertise is superb. If they can't fix it - junk it. I truly adore them and the dedication they have to do their very best at all times. If you want the very best Massello's is the place to go. more

Great service by professional but friendly technicians 1/29/2012

I chose to take my car to Masello's when I first moved to Syracuse because of the wonderful reviews I had read about them, and I was not disappointed. I have not only been very happy with the quality of service and care, but have also found everyone working there to be very friendly and helpful. They give honest advise about what is best for your car and seem to genuinely want to save you money whenever possible without cutting corners. Additionally, I have always been able to get my car back the same day I bring it in. I would highly recommend Masello's to anyone looking for a good, reliable mechanic. more

I have had great experiences with Masello's Auto Service for about 30 years now. They are just great. The minute you come in they put you at ease. There is always a knowledgeable person behind the desk to serve you. They have many mechanics to always be able to help. They are reasonably priced and it is a great value. They are everything you look for in a mechanic. more

Easy and convenient. 1/18/2012

This was the first time I used Masello's Auto Service. There about fifty feet away from where I work, so I've seen them and waved to them. I took a chance on using them instead of driving all around to find a mechanic. I stopped by, dropped off my car and then picked it up when it was done. It was easy. I didn't have much interaction with them, just over the phone mainly. I would use them again, it was easy, fast and convenient. more

Great as always 1/15/2012

I've been going to Masello's since I moved to syracuse. They fixed a rusted emergency brake for me the first winter and a bad bearing this year. Their service has always been spot on and their explanations are clear. Prices have been good and they've always offered to drive me to work or even the mall while waiting. more

Excellent Service. Fast, Economical, Thorough. 1/6/2012

I am a graduate student in Syracuse and Masello's was recommended to me by a friend when I was asking around for a place to take my VW Jetta for some diagnostic work a couple of years ago. Tony and his crew were excellent to deal with and I've stuck with them ever since. They do excellent work and stand behind their work. I'm always amazed because I almost always can drop the car off in the morning and pick it up in the afternoon. I trust these guys to keep me on the road in a safe car! more

It's hard to find... 12/7/2011

...an honest mechanic, but Tony and all of the guys at Masellos Auto are just that, and good ones to boot. I've had two oil changes and a brake overhaul done at Masellos, and have come away more than pleased after both. Tony will also do his best to squeeze you in if you're going to wait at the shop for whatever repair you may need. more

Tony always explains what's going on, why, and how he's going to fix it 11/16/2011

When I needed brakes for a 98 nissan sentra, Tony explained the options before doing the work, and helped me make a choice that fit my plans for that car. I've had tire rotations, brake work, and numerous oil changes, and have always been extremely satisfied. Thanks to all at Masello's for being so reliable, honest, and providing great car care. more

Don't you hate when your auto breaks? 11/8/2011

Next to taking care of your family and pets, our cars are the life-line to the world of work and activity... and I felt confidence and trust with Tony and the guys at Masello's when I left my 12 year old Infinity there for help. They delivered good old fashion craftsmanship with solid, correct information, personal caring and understanding - and I feel safe in driving my car again. I hope my car doesn't need any more TLC, but I know I will take it back to Tony if and when it does. more

I've never had any problems with Anthony from Masello's Auto Service. There are no hidden games or surprises with him. He'll let you know what's up right away. He likes to wait to tell you anything until he can open your vehicle up, then he'll let you know what it needs if it needs anything. For example, I just took my truck in for a 60,000 tune up, and he told me that he left the belts alone because they'd be good for another 600 miles. I like that. It's the principle, not the cost for me. I appreciate his honesty and straightforwardness with me. I know that he'll only do work if it needs to be done. I'll keep bring my cars to Anthony as long as he continues to be upfront and honest with me. more
