Shower Fix 3/14/2019

Nelson was a true professional. He arrived in timely fashion, clearly knew his job, performed the repair like the professional he is, and had our walk-in shower working up to temperature as it had not done for some time. My wife and I are pleased with his work and his professional skills and demeanor. Next time we have a plumbing job we will seek Nelson's help by calling Masgnolia. Norm more

fast, efficeint service 3/14/2019

A great experience on an emergency (no heat or hot water because of a boiler shut-down) call on a Saturday. I had not quite understood ahead how the billing worked but was OK with the end price. I should have asked for clarification. Nice they came earlier than first expected. more

Very happy with service 2/20/2019

Mario did a great job; we had a gas pipe leak in the wall, and he took time to locate the leak, look for ways to repair it, and when doing the work showed me what he was finding and how he was repairing it. He clearly described what needed to be done and how long it would take, and was very responsive. more

plumbing repair 2/20/2019

Reps were all good. The issue is the substance of the quote received. It was 38% higher than a competitor to replace a Taco valve and an expansion tank on our hot water system. The valve quote was $900. The time estimated to fix it was 1 hour per the rep. The part is $100 online imputing an $800 per hour labor charge and/or a substantial product markup. I tried to suggest the "formula" that created this quote might be in error because the quote for the expansion tank job was similar to competitor, 33 minute and a $300 part for a $388 quote, imputing an approximate hourly labor charge of $150+/-. Anyhow, the quote to bleed our system was $550 - $200 higher than competitor. In sum, the total quote was well above competition but largely focused on the valve replacement. Too bad, we would have gone with magnolia but are sticking with our current contractor. more

Hot water heater replacment 2/20/2019

My hot water heater starting leaking badly (it was 20 years old and needed replacement). Magnolia was Very responsive - they sent a technician out the same day, have us choices, and a price right then. They returned the very next day to install. Crew was great, very neat and working in a tight basement space. I would highly recommend Magnolia in the future. more

I have had several HVAC issues over the past few weeks, after unsuccessfully dealing with other technicians, Saied was finally able to resolve it. He is well versed in heating and cooling systems and provided me with several alternatives to resolve my issues. I would highly recommend him more

Feeling taken 2/15/2019

The repair man came out checked the system changed the glass tube and bleed the unit we were charged a thousand dollars for that the repairman also noted there was a leak in one of the pipes the thousand dollars didn't include fixing the pipe or system . We had to call another company the problem with the system is the water feeder hydro level reader which wasn't allowing the auto fill to kick in the other company also stated the boiler needed cleaning which I'm not happy with their price 800 plus for cleaning . So far this has been an ugly experience and we definitely are not happy with magnolia and feel raped over A thousand dollars to check diagnose bleed and change the glass tube???? more

Recommend for Garbage Disposal Replacement 2/14/2019

Nelson was very helpful and completed the replacement of my garbage disposal efficiently and effectively. He took the time to explain the work done and how to maintain the unit. Ebony called me to let me know that Nelson would be coming closer to the end of the estimated service time window they had given me because his current call was taking a little longer - this heads up was much appreciated. more

Excellent Service on short notice 2/14/2019

Was able to schedule a service call on very short notice when my kitchen sink backed up and began to leak. Technician was able to snake the drain and replace the garbage disposal within 2 hours of arrival and was friendly and knowledgeable. more

Mario and Kevin arrived at my property within the arrival time specified. we discussed my concerns and issues. Mr Mario called the office and received clarification. Once my issues and concerns where resolved the two man team worked extremely well. Each of theses Employees really knew there job. They both were professional and pleasant. I felt really good having the two of them doing the job on my home. more

Super Mario!!! 1/17/2019

Mario and his assistant were at my home on Wednesday to replace a garbage disposal and investigate a slow drain. From start to finish, they were polite, professional, and extremely proficient. They answered my questions, explained my options, and worked to ensure my disposal and drain were in perfect working order before leaving. My kitchen was so clean, you would have never known they were there! I have had consistently positive experiences with Magnolia. I really appreciate how personable their team is; it is clear they enjoy working for this company and it shows in their service. Highly recommend! more

Tan Cao / Home Service 12/20/2018

Mr. Cao was very thorough in explaining and showing me what needed to be done to help maintain my mother's home HVAC system between routine service. He also helped me with deciding on what to do with an old standalone gas heating unit that no longer works. We are planning to have the unit removed and will ask that Mr. Cao return to perform the service. Very satisfied with his work. more
