We had a gift card and came here for dinner: amazing food! (especially since our gift card covered most of the bill)\r \r They have great appetizers and drinks for $5. All of them are amazing, especially the sliders and the Tuna Roll. When i first went to Minx I thought the setting was very romantic. It was the perfect place for my frist date, she was very impressed!\r The server, Brenna, came right away to greet us and made us feel very comfortable. We ordered Pinot Noir and calamari to start. The order came right away without delay. We were also presented to our busser Erwin who brought us freshly baked bread and honey-butter. We order the New York Steak and Ahi Tuna which were both amazing (we shared). The steak was cooked to my satisfaction and the Ahi Tuna was very nicely decorated. When we were all done Erwin came right over to pick up the dishes and was very polite in doing so. Brenna introduced us to the desserts and we had the Pumpkin Cheesecake which was very different and deliscious. The manager came over and made sure everything was ok. Great spot, highly recommended! It's been about a year since I ate here, but I drove by it the other day and remembered what a fabulous experience it was! We came in for dinner and sat on the patio. I have been getting emails for Minx for a while, so I thought I should give a it a try. Great decor and spacious. Celebrated birthday with dinner and approximately 12 guests. Loved it since right after dinner went out on the patio, outdoor patio is nice with a bar and stunning views. Ordered filet with lobster mashed potato and was delish. Service was attentive and manager on duty was a great help with wine suggestions. It took more than one try to make reservations, this place gets packed on weekends with private events since they have a separate section for private events. Based on how close this restaurant is to my house I really wish I liked it. Sadly every connection I've had with them has been horrible. * I've had to send food back since it was not what I ordered. * I somehow got on their marketing list and received multiple texts per week from them. I had to call a number of times demanding them to take me off their list. * I still get marketing emails from them with no way of ""unsubscribing"". Apparently the fact that this is illegal doesn't bother them. Calling has yet to stop this. I've only had to the opportunity to talk to very unhelpful people. * I was meeting a date there and when I learned there was a cover charge for the bar (I've been to the bar --- there is NO NEED for a cover charge) I wanted to go in and just grab my date so we could go somewhere else. The woman at the front demanded there was no one inside. After calling my date I discovered he was inside and I was lied to by the staff. The cuisine was absolutely fantastic, food and appetizers were out before we knew it. There was only a slight delay while we waited for dessert and the check, but by that time business had picked up and it was quite busy. I went there last night to take my girlfriend out for her 25th birthday, and my experience was so pleasant that I felt compelled to write a review.Great service. I always loved the ambience - dimly lit, high ceiling. Arrived 20 minutes early and was seated within 5 minutes, in a secluded corner table, as requested on OpenTable. Excellent waiter, Joe, knew everything on the menu. I got a nice bottle of Cabernet. I haven't been anywhere else that maybe be better for the price in the area. I made a reservation for dinner yesterday for my wife and I. It was our 2 year anniversary and I explained to the receptionist that I wanted to do something special. When We arrived the table was made up with candles flowers and a very nice bottle of champagne. The staff was so nice and the service was very quick. The food was exceptional! I cant stress enough that they made our night together absolutely amazing, they went above and beyond what I ever could have imagined! I will be a long time customer! The wait to get in wasn't bad at all, the cover wasn't any worse. My one complaint was the valet. It took 15 minutes to get my car but the people were nice and curtious. when I tried yelling at them about my wait he explained that 700 people cant get their cars at once lol i figured. What I liked most was that my lady and I could go out and be around a fun mature crowd that doesn't consist of the Hollywood usual's. The Security staff did an excellent job at keep out the rif raf! I have been to Minx several times but I will review my experience when I went there on Valentine's Day. OMG!!!! The food was great...alot of good choices even for a prix fix menu. Also they had a singer sing during dinner...it was so romantic. The service wasn't bad either...we had a great time overall. After dinner, we went to the nightclub and had a blast!!!!\r \r I CAN'T COMPLAIN AND WILL BE GOING BACK AGAIN! more

We recently had our office Christmas party at Minx and that was my first visit. The food and the staff were very good so naturally we had to come in and try some of their regular menu items. All I can say is that our server was so helpful and gracious that we will most definately return as regulars. this place was not up to standard and unfortunately I found it out the hard way. Service was slow and unattentive and the food was average. Nothing special here so it was definitely not worth my time and money. Don't waste your time because there are better food and service in Americana area in glendale. I JUST LOVE THE FOOD! I've had Minx food quite a few times mostly for lunch and have tried something different every time and I have yet to be disappointed with the food. They have a variety of American cuisine and it's absolutely delicious. I was get full for the food. It's not too pricey. A really nice place that's affordable. The service was WONDERFUL! The place looks so nice and I love the design and art and lighting that's in there. I've been to the club a couple of times on big nights and it was packed with people...dj plays your requests. A good mixture of people. Plenty of room to have your own table and space. Dance floor is a nice size. There's valet so no need struggling to find a parking spot and walking forever to get to the club. It's just a great place and I recommend it to ANY AND EVERYONE!!!!! more

Well, my friends and I arrived last Friday night at about 930 ish and wanted to have a good night out. We arrived at Minx and the Valet was a rip off, but it was okay I guess. We didnt want to have dinner because we wanted to experience the nightlife. Line was reasonable and entrance fee was too. The whole look & feel of the place felt as if was in Vegas. We drinked around, danced a bit and came out for some air. I saw someone smoking Hookah so I decided to get one also with my friends. We ordered this mix and I tell you that was the most amazing mix I have ever had! We had a re-fill with another mix and that too was unbelievably smooth! I am definitely going there every weekend just for the hookahs. The hookahs made the whole night worth it ;) My friends don't smoke hookah but since we got one on our table we had four girls coming up to us and wanted to sit with us and smoke the hookah. I tell you, I am so glad I got one! The drinks were reasonably priced and the service was fast! So I read all the reviews for Minx before making any reservations and I have to admit I was a bit iffy about planning a birthday celebration there. But after debating between clubs, I decided to go ahead and set my plans for Minx. I have to say, I was completely satisfied. Unlike the reviews I previously read, I was satisfied with the food, the service, and the club. We had a party of 17 ppl and all complimented on the ambiance and the food...oh and since it was my bday, I received a comp bday cheesecake and I have to say, EVERYONE loved it, nice soft & creamy, just how a cheesecake should be. Along with the food, service was great as well, from the bartender as we waited at the bar for all of our party to arrive, the hostess and the reservations coordinator, who added to our table as the party got bigger, and our server, let's not forget even the hooka service was good. Music was good, there were two to pick from, either the club which played hiphop or out in the patio which played trans. As far as the crowd, I had nothing negative to say. As I said, I was there with a party of 17 so the crowd didnt bother me as I had my own crowd with me. All other reviews complained about the crowd not being up to par, but I guess those were the ppl that went to the club looking to meet or hookup. Since I've had my own with me, that wasn't a big of a concern for me as others. So overall, I can say Minx was a good experience for me and my group and I look forward to returning, specially for dinner to try all other entrees. BTW, I believe ppl write reviews only after a bad experience anyway, I'm sure there's plenty more who's got something positive to say, only they don't write it in a review. We had a girls night out last weekend and decided to come here since we can have dinner, drinks, and go to the club all in one place. Wow... the club was a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!!! The people working the club was a joke and the crowd was not up to par and definitely the crowd that i'm not use to seeing in high class clubs... very ghetto-ish feeling... Only thing that we agreed that night was that the food was awesom and the location was convenient. I should've taken the warning about the club from other postings but had to see it for myself. I'll just stick to clubs and bars in Pasadena, but I'll definitely come back to eat here with my boyfriend soon.
