So I read all the reviews for Minx before making any reservations and I have to admit I was a bit iffy about planning a birthday celebration there. But after debating between clubs, I decided to go ahead and set my plans for Minx. I have to say, I was completely satisfied. Unlike the reviews I previously read, I was satisfied with the food, the service, and the club. We had a party of 17 ppl and all complimented on the ambiance and the food...oh and since it was my bday, I received a comp bday cheesecake and I have to say, EVERYONE loved it, nice soft & creamy, just how a cheesecake should be. Along with the food, service was great as well, from the bartender as we waited at the bar for all of our party to arrive, the hostess and the reservations coordinator, who added to our table as the party got bigger, and our server, let's not forget even the hooka service was good. Music was good, there were two to pick from, either the club which played hiphop or out in the patio which played trans. As far as the crowd, I had nothing negative to say. As I said, I was there with a party of 17 so the crowd didnt bother me as I had my own crowd with me. All other reviews complained about the crowd not being up to par, but I guess those were the ppl that went to the club looking to meet or hookup. Since I've had my own with me, that wasn't a big of a concern for me as others. So overall, I can say Minx was a good experience for me and my group and I look forward to returning, specially for dinner to try all other entrees. BTW, I believe ppl write reviews only after a bad experience anyway, I'm sure there's plenty more who's got something positive to say, only they don't write it in a review. Good job Minx, you'll see me again for sure :-)
