My friends and I went there on Saturday night --- and were blown away by both the food (we went for the crepes) and the entertainment. Since we wanted to try the Irish Crepe (a dessert made with Baileys Irish Cream, Bananas, Strawberries --- and filled with Nutella), we decided to have something different for dinner. Between us, we shared the Osso Bucco (YUM!!!), Poached Salmon (SOOOO tender and delicious), and Lamb (OMG!!!). Of course, we started with wine (and received a complimentary pate platter (!!!) with it. Then we moved on to some of the BEST french onion soup I have ever tasted. The bad news was that we hardly had ROOM LEFT for the dessert, but we forced ourselves anyway! To top it off, we had them add some of their homemade vanilla bean ice cream, aka frozen creme brulee (my favorite). So delish!
The entertainment that night was a concert violinist playing some of the greatest show tunes (Phantom, anyone?) We just had the greatest evening. The only downside was that quite a few others ALSO were having a great evening! We had plenty of time between our courses, which was fine for us since we were having such an enjoyable time.
The staff at Lulu's is great --- they got us everything we needed and checked back to make sure we were fine. Our waiter was the NICEST GUY as well. This is certainly our new favorite place!
Pros: Adorable restaurant!
Cons: Hidden away
