Lucyna's Goldfingers has been around for over 20 years! So if you want comfort in knowing that your face is going to be looking good after a facial, if you nails will be done properly, or if your hair will come out the way you want it, then this is the place to go. Lucy and Irena have been doing work on people's faces for well over 20 years and know exactly what theyre doing. The hair dressers are passionate and want you to look and feel your best. They even started a cosmetology school where you can get certified and everything. Well developed place, really love the people. Everyone is willing to talk and are all very nice. Love this place. Definately recommend. The services are well worth the money spent(which is affordable). more

I am always happy with my haircut (a man 30+). Salon has a nice interior, great atmosphere. They are quite busy that last minute appointments are difficult to schedule ;( and/or a little pricey $$ but definitely worth it ;) more

I went to this salon with gray thin fine hair, and Renee suggested an integrated hairpiece. It is a perfect solution and easy to wear. She is a genius with color and cut. I recommend her to anyone who needs help with their hair. She also does color correction if someone else has messed up your do before...give her a try! more

I've been going to the salon for a while now and love everyone there however just about 6 months ago I discovered Renee. What I love about her is the time she will take with her clients to understand what their looking for. Its the first time I ever when to someone that exually took a lot of time into explaining to me how to style my hair and what looks best with my round face. She also made some great suggestions about the kind of products I should use on my hair. more

Well I must confess, this review is a loooong time overdue. I have gone to quite a few hair salon's before I found Renee. My previous experiences with the other hairdresser's have been a little less than stellar. My daughter told me about Lucy's place so I went for a facial which was great. I asked Basha at the front desk for a recommendation as I was looking for a new hairstyle along with color. She immediately mentioned Renee and what a fantastic job she does. She mentioned that all new client's are referred to her as she has many years of experience. I was leery at first but decided to move forward and give her a try. When we first met, I thought she was not only beautiful but noticed how she would carefully listen to what my concerns were and made suggestions I was not made aware of with the other hairdresser's I have gone to. She immediately took charge and made a few recommendation's. So far she has cut, colored, permed and with great success. If you feel it is not to your satisfaction, she will immediately address the issue until you are completely satisfied no question's asked. I loved what she has done for me so I've decided to bring my husband for a cut and color as well. He not only was happy with the outcome but also mentioned how comfortable he felt with her. She is a lovely individual with much talent and one can surely see how she truly cares about her clients. Many thanks to you Ms. Renee and know how much you are loved and appreciated. I drive over an hour just to see Renee. She has an amazing talent for hair! Before being referred to her by a friend, I was going to salons and getting terrible dye and cuts. My hair was horribly damaged and just a complete mess. Renee saved my hair! Gave me a perfect cut and dye. If I had to I would drive over 3 hours just to see her. (I am not joking about that) After my first experience with Renee, I have vowed that ONLY Renee is allowed to touch my hair. Go visit her and you will feel the same way after your first visit. Simply put...Renee knows HAIR!!! Her haircuts are excellent & always look great as they continue to grow out! Her knowledge of color is impeccable. I have been going to Renee to get my highlights done for two years. She always offers great advice for highlights and color. I came in from another salon that completely ruined my color. Renee fixed it all for me. She is the best to talk to and knows how you want your hair done. Any ideas you have, she knows what your talking about. I have tried different blonds and browns because i like to change things up, and it always looks fantastic. Her haircuts are also fantastic, i was scared to cut my hair because i was traumatized at my previous salon and when she cut my hair it felt like my hair was 10 times healthier. I also had the treatment called Anti Curl done and loved it! Ive always had the best results. Renee knows what shes doing! I wouldn't go anywhere else. I always see her clients leaving happy. I would like to state that, what EDYTA said is not true. Renee knows what she is doing, and if there is a problem with the color after, she always tells you to call her if something is wrong and she will fix it. I never had to do that because i have always had great results. I would rather take my time and have my hair beautiful then me rushed out of a salon and this does not happen here. 3.5 hours is a good time for highlights. If you are not satisfied, ( not possible, you will be trust me) give her a call don't go and write a nasty review if you didn't go back and talk to her. I have been going to Lucyna's from time to time as they do wonderful facials. Needed highlights so decided to try Lucyna's especially after reading so many great reviews telling how great Renee is. I went in and told her I did not want any drastic changes - simply wanted to cover my grair hair and dark blonde roots. First of all, the process took forever (3.5 hours!!!) and ... instead of blonde highlights I have yellow (!!!) roots. Disaster! Well i was getting alot of blackheads lately, so my mom took me to Lucyna's Goldfingers for the facial treatment so i was pretty up for it. I already knew Irena [the lady who does the facial and hair removal treatment at lucynas] from when Lucyan's Goldfingers was in Chicago. I walked in the room and there was this comfy laying bed/table kind of like the one at the doctors, so i layed down and then Irena put a facial mask on my face and turned the fan/heater on twoard my face. So i thought to myself boy well this wont be bad at all, then she took it off and starting pinching at my blackheads yes i have to admit it hurt alot, my skin is very sensative. Some blackheads were painful for 2 seconds pain and others took way longer than that.I really didnt know what to expect, then i did my research and found out this method was extractions. So i delt with the pain quietly for a long while irena finshed up. My skin was very red and swollen for the following week, but it really payed off my skin was nice, soft, and clear. I go every 3 months so its really not that bad. The people who work there are very nice, and the inside the place is a nice femine look, so its a very welcoming atmoshpere. The prices there are very very reasnoable, and you eventually get the results you want. They have a nice waiting room with a tv with dish, and table full of sweets, coffe, and water, so i definetly recomend Lucyna's Goldfingers.:D!!!!!!!!!! I had heard about Renee at Lucyna's from an acquaintance. I visited her and brought my fried hair from another salon along with me. She went through multiple steps to correct my color and it looks and feels great. It's nice to go to a salon and be able to be scheduled quickly. I appreciate the personal service as well. At my last salon, I felt like a number among a crush of other customers and that they were constantly pushing extra services. This salon, along with Renee is a breath of fresh air. more

I am new to the suburbs and was looking for a hairstylist in this area. I came across Renee's name as being highly recommended and decided to try her out. I do have a busy work schedule and was happy that Renee was very flexible in getting me in right away. I was very pleased with Renee's professionalism and positive personality. I am a man that colors my hair but I don?t want to look like I do. Renee listened to what I wanted and then made recommendations and explained to me what she was going to use and why she chose the colors she did. My color looks exactly like I wanted and my curly hair looks better than it ever has before. I really liked the way Renee works she did all the cutting, color and even washed my hair herself. It was nice not being passed around from chair to chair and having to explain my needs to each stylist. I have been to too many salons where I have felt like a number. The customer service at Lucyna's Goldfingers is oustanding and gets five gold stars from my whole family . Pros: Friendly service. Very Clean. Same Day Appointments Cons: Parking lot always full. I had my haircut by Renee at Lucyna's. She really takes the time and studies how your hair lies before starting to cut. She takes your suggestions but offers good advice on how best your hair would look. She had told me that the style she was giving me would blowdry easily and she was so right! I have gotten MANY compliments on how my hair looks. I will be back to Renee in the future. more

I had been fighting with my lack of hairstyle for roughly a year when I decided to contact Rene for some help. I was wearing my hair longer and literally slicked back. Guy's haircuts tend to be quick and easy, and I have been to salons as well as strip mall cutteries. Sitting down with Rene was refreshing, as she took time to explain how my ""style"" made my face appear thin, and suggested styles that were more modern and that would fit the shape of my head and face better. She spent more time checking the shape of my head and asking about my hair than most ""quick cut"" places spend total! While this made me feel like she knew what she was doing, her cutting style highlighted her experience. As she cut, Rene used a variety of shears. She was confident in her selection, reaching for specific shears as needed. Additionally, she used a firm grip on my hair-something I have found among experienced, confident stylists. Rene continued to check how my hair dried, if it curled, the lenght, etc. while she cut, all the time explaining how certain cuts were going to effect my final style. After she removed three inches of hair and added much needed texture and style, Rene explained how different product could help me achieve different looks. She had suggestions for styles that looked good on me, and helped me style the new cut. I left with a great cut that fit my needs, and a refreshing, updated look. Rene is enjoyable to sit and speak with, and her cutting style and her knowledge of stying show that cutting hair is more her craft than her job. more

I called last minute yesterday and was able to get in with a massage with Tomas. It was the best massage everrrrr!!! He not only was very professional, but his touch was perfect. The hot towels were a pleasant surprise and kept me nice and toasty. I loved the fact he was able to control the music in his room so there was no commercials or crazy music to distract me from my massage. I know for sure I will be back...maybe even this weekend (yes, it was that good LOL). I want to also mention that the rest of the salon is also great. They have awesome jewelry which I couldn't resist. I arrived fifteen minutes early and loved the waiting area. It had a homey feel with coffee, cookies, magazines, and even tv. Very Zen!. I have been looking for my ?hair person? for some years. I was never really able to find that one person who was good at everything that I want. I guess you can call me a high maintenance sort of gal, but I was looking for someone who was not only good with the cut of my hair, but also the color and perm that I like to get as well. When I came to Renee, I had a photo of a celebrity with a specific curl, color, and cut, and I told Renee that I want my hair to look exactly that way. Also, I have been through many nightmares from other ?hair specialists? from much overpriced salons that fry my hair to the extreme, either because they didn?t know what they were doing or that the products they used were cheap. I honestly was scared to have another person work on my hair. To my surprise, Renee did my perm, color, and cut exactly like that photo and on top of that, she rejuvenated my hair to a very healthy state. My hair looks gorgeous and so healthy, and I have gotten more compliments on my hair within the time Renee had been my ?hair lady? than I ever did from all the other ?hair people? combined within years. As it goes to the prices, I think you definitely get what you pay for. Lucyna?s Goldfinger, in general, is a place where you receive the best service and product. I just had my color, highlites and trim by Annette and I love it !!! The minute we started talking about my hair I felt that I can totally trust her recommendations and I was right ! She is so talented and such a sweetheart that I am definitely coming back. She had chosen the color that makes my eyes pop and the highlites are perfect, subtle but noticeable.
