No refund on order they lost 7/24/2013

Lowes San Bruno lost our patio furniture order, $1,050 worth. They finally found it (2 weeks after it was supposed to have been delivered), and we cancelled it because we didn't trust them to actually get the order processed and delivered. They are now saying they don't have a way to refund the $1,050 in under 30 days. Start to finish it has been six weeks and we still don't have our money back. They aren't saying it isn't owed...they are saying their "system" hasn't put through the refund yet. Nothing but a big headache, wish we never set foot in that store! more

NIGHTMARE @ LOWES 7/4/2009

Had a flooring install. Third party installers were sent. Surpised to see lots of wood being thrown out/leftover. Did the measurements and found that LOWES had estimated 25% over. Include cost of installation and raw materials and the overage was in multiple of 1000s. Shocked, went to Lowes expecting them to own up and fix the problem. Instead had a nightmare of a followup that lasted over 2 months. In the end, got 10% of the my cost back. Will NEVER VISIT LOWES. Shopping now at Homde Depot instead. If you want flooring, especially wood flooring, get it done at a local mom-pop store or get a 3rd party installer and get wood at discount retailer/internet. ... and AVOID LOWES like a plague. more

Appliance Purchase- Washer 10/11/2008

In the store, the sales people were great. Things got really frustrating when a defective "floor model" was delivered. This triggered having to spend 16 hours (so far) in calling various installation, factory warranty, and extended warranty departments with many waits, repetitions of model and serial #s and recorded phone directions. + 4 hrs per for repair visits. I've purchased buildings in far less time with less hassle. 2 weeks later and still no washer. Please! Let me wake up from this nightmare. more

Horribe Customer Service and Rude! 6/15/2006

I have to disagree with the previous post. I will never go to this store again. The workers there don't know a darn thing about Home Improvement. I have never talked to such clueless individuals. I had to go back to this store four times before the associate finally got it right. I don't know what kind of morons they hire here but I will never go back. These places thrive on quanity, not quality. I reported my troubles of the bad customer service i received and the manager was nothing but rude to me.He said he had too many customers to continue discussing my legitimate complaint of having to come back four times because of the incompetent associate.Useless,rude people in this store.Useless service. I will spend my money elsewhere. This store doesn't even deserve one star. more

Lowe's 4/17/2006

This is one of the best Lowes stores that I have been to. All of the staff people are very knowledgable and halpful. They will not let you leave if you are unsatified. And everything in the store is so easy to find beacuse it is all labeled for you in a simple way. The prices are also very affordable. I would highly recommend Lowes because of its excellent customer service and values. Definitey 4 stars!!! more
