Review content:
Had a flooring install. Third party installers were sent. Surpised to see lots of wood being thrown out/leftover.
Did the measurements and found that LOWES had estimated 25% over. Include cost of installation and raw materials and the overage was in multiple of 1000s.
Shocked, went to Lowes expecting them to own up and fix the problem. Instead had a nightmare of a followup that lasted over 2 months.
In the end, got 10% of the my cost back. Will NEVER VISIT LOWES. Shopping now at Homde Depot instead.
If you want flooring, especially wood flooring, get it done at a local mom-pop store or get a 3rd party installer and get wood at discount retailer/internet.
... and AVOID LOWES like a plague.
