Dear Curtis, Monica and Bianca, Thank you so much for helping me understand the necessity of carrying uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage for my ""paid off"" car.my Dad was a bit ""old school"" and thought once a car was paid off, it only needed liability only. Now that you've explained it to me, I feel so fortunate that I have the coverage, and I even understand WHY I have the coverage. You are all so knowledgeable; I do not understand why anyone would have their insurance anywhere other than with your agency! I tell all my friends about you, and they always come back and tell me how happy they are they called you. They're generally surprised about the price (in a good way) and they tell me they are happy you don't treat them with any less respect just because they know nothing about insurance. I had a complicated claim that was filed over two months ago, and I still had not been reimbursed; the accident was the fault of another driver, and I was waiting to be reimbursed for my deductible. I had contacted the claims department through 1-888-257-6077, extension 22. I wasn't getting any help, and it was obvious that, because I spoke to a different agent every time I called, no one was interested in whether I got reimbursed or not. When I contacted Curtis Rich, my local agent, directly, he immediately addressed my concerns and helped me fix the situation within an hour. I was about to cancel my policy with State Farm because of this problem; because of his great customer service, I will stay with him and State Farm Insurance. Thank you for being a good neighbor.
