Outstanding performance 9/4/2015

I am not one to write reviews but the service we received from limric was outstanding. We recently woke up to a small pond on our front lawn. Having used Frank C before, for our HVAC we tried Limric's plumbing department. Bryan came out the same day ( before the pond became a lake) and was able to quickly solve our problem, fix it, and put our lawn back together. He was so pleasant and professional and he was upfront about the costs. I would certainly use them again. more

I'm a builder and you would think I could simply make a phone call to get service work done, but in today's market even the most loyal of sub contractors are not readily available to address certain issues. We have a rental property that had been abused by the previous renter and we also needed to replace some of the original waster water plumbing. AJ and Brian were very knowledgeable about their business, they were upbeat and pleasant to work with, and not knowing I was a builder I found them to be very honest with their opinions and answers to how we could go about the repairs that were needed. I don't normally write reviews, but I was so pleased with the service I recieved yesterday. We have a house at Folly Beach, with renters in it, and the A/C unit went out. It is important that the people paying money to stay at our house have a good experience - and no A/C in July is not good! I called LimRic to ask for help in the early afternoon, and by 7:30, everything was back working again! No "we're too busy to get to you" or "you'll have to wait". Just prompt, courteous service. The service guy, Jason, called to let me know what his schedule was and when he'd be to the house. Great job! more

Chris was honest and quick with the repairs. He listened to what the potential problems were and went above and beyond to make sure all items were fixed correctly. He made suggestions to save me money and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. This was GREATLY appreciated! more

Fast service! Great Service! Very Happy and after doing extensive research of other local companies in the Charleston area, I am truly impressed with the great service! Called for appointment for a "second opinion" on repairs and/or replacement of my A/C unit - the scheduling of the appointment was great, got right in! Jason (he was Great, knowledgeable, wonderful and likes Dogs) explained EVERYTHING, made me feel at ease with everything he was doing and was going to do. I am beyond happy with the service I received and will be a loyal customer after this!! Any repairs and /or concerns that the average person has, this place should be their first and only call! more

well finally after the dispatcher changed my appt. for another day and failed to Let me know my AC unit now works fine. although i was charged $160 for 2lbs. of Freon. THat is a little steep! especially since it ltook less than 30 minutes to do and i can buy a 25lb bottler for $60. An addendum to yesterday's review: Can you hear the sound of sighing? It is This Old House because for the first time in quite a while.. the upstairs is COOLING! There are not enough superlatives for us to describe the way we are impressed with this company. For folks in their 70s.. we've had enough experience to form some comparisons. Jason came this morning to assess the difficult situation. His expertise and experience show through with his discussion of what could be done to replace the old TWO seer system!! As luck would have it, a team became available and as of this evening.. with the incredible work and diligence of David and Cody... we have a cooling second story and the air flowing down the stairs is cool.. not 110 degrees! All of these men are so professional and personable. As David said.. "we think we are the best in the area.. and we aim to keep it that way" LimRic is obviously assembling a great team and we will take great pleasure in seeing them be THE service folks in the Trident Area. Incredibly reasonable.. and definitely above and beyond the call of duty service. We can't thank you enough!!! . more

WOW.... totally impressed!!! 5/20/2015

We have used the same heating and air company for about 30 years but Mr. Dependable has retired. Folks at our church recommended LimRic because they knew the owner and they've had great, recent service. I called to say we need new unit upstairs. House was built in 1890 and the present unit was installed by previous owner in 1989. Not an easy situation in an older home. Chris came today and assessed situation. The sales department will come tomorrow to discuss options. BUT.. we also had old Heil AC unit that serves only the living room area. New thermostat was installed about a year ago,, but the unit did not work several months later. He could have told us the unit was shot.. it's old... but... he examined the whole situation and found that the two AAA batteries in the thermostat needed to be replaced! Two new batteries and the unit works! That is reputable, experienced service!! We probably will be replacing it with a heat pump in the near future even though it is seldom used. Ten stars to Chris!! Feel certain we are now starting another long term professional relationship!! Thanks, LimRic! Best of luck in your new office/warehouse spaces!!! It's a positive addition to the Dorchester Road scenery! more
