I have been using Jim Archer for my group health insurance needs in my office for over 2 years now and he has done an absolutely wonderful job each and every time. He takes the time out needed to make sure everything is done accurately and works around your schedule to make it as convenient as possible. Been shopping for health insurance for my wife and me but with the underwriting process possibly making all my comparisons a waste of time, decided to look for a broker. Jim's internet reviews were pretty good so I called. He gave me plenty of time to explain what I was looking for and what my concerns were. I appreciate all of the very detailed info he provided including insights on the underwriting process, benefits of HSA accounts, and the Texas high risk insurance pool- we spent about 1.5hrs on the phone. It's pretty cool that he would be helping us fill out the application online by talking with us over the phone (vs. having to travel to his office). He committed to crunching the data and doing an underwriting pre-screen within two days and met that by calling back the following afternoon. Note: both phone conversations with Jim were the kind you?d have with a knowledgeable person who you were seeking advice/ help from- not the kind you?d have with someone trying to constantly force their sales pitch. more

I consider myself very fortunate to have found James Archer, and to retain him as my new insurance broker. He has the best customer service skills, taking time to explain the various options I had in obtaining my current health care insurance. I have been self-employed for quite some time and it has been a chore every year to find and keep affordable and quality health insurance. If only I had found him years ago. He is the most helpful and giving person and has so much more knowledge about these health insurance products than most agents. He also is up-to-date on HSAs and the new healthcare law. I just signed up with a new company and my policy is virtually the same, if not better than it was, and my monthly premium cost is almost cut in half. I am 100% assured that he operates out of integrity and concern for his clients, no matter what he makes on selling the product. I met Jim through an association with my wife's Health Insurance plan at her office. Although at this writing, I have not met him in person, I can tell without a doubt that he is a man of integrity. Jim Archer went above and beyond to explain differences between the insurance companies and differences between policies. He listened patiently while we discussed he needs for our family and what might help get the policy that was most beneficial. He was concerned that we get the best, what fit our plans as well as our pocketbook. He was extremely knowledgeable in all the policy differences, prompt to reply to my requests and detailed in answering all my questions. He never made me feel uncomfortable asking too many questions and walked me through step-by-step in the application process. In the past, I've had some agents push to a certain company and want to 'close the deal' quick and then I never got help from them again. I was skeptical this would be the same but it was exactly the opposite experience We have been very pleased with him as our consultant and feel confident I can ask him any question from here on and he'll be there to help. After all the questions and different plans we looked over, the application went smooth and we got a positive answer faster than we expected! I wouldn't change a thing about the process of getting our insurance and would recommend Jim Archer to anyone needing help in the same situation. more

Jim Archer has been my insurance agent for nearly 30 years and I'm not an easy client. My requirement is 100% integrity in all business dealings. As you can imagaine, this is rarely achieved, but it is the brass ring to strive for. Jim Archer is one of only a small handful of business executives I have engaged over my lifetime that has never let me down. What does ""let me down"" even mean to me? It means ""doing what you say, when you said you'd do it, with excellence."" This one attribute is enormously important to me. No one is perfect so the next attribute is also vitally important to me: if such a person misses th mark for any reason (which is eventually inevitable) they call me and explain it and couple with it an explanation on how they are going to resolve the matter. Jim Archer knows how to do this and thankfully has had to do this very infrequently. That's it. Honesty, integrity, follow through. I couldn't ask for more in a business associate. I suppose this is a partial explanation of what ""customer serice"" means to me. I recommend Jim Archer without reservation. more
