Dr. Licata can be very convincing. He begins with several x-rays measuring your alignment and recommends you bring your spouse in with you for the results. He recommends this so that he can have both financial decision makers together to sign off on a months long treatment plan that is in the $2000 range that is only payable all at once, or through a financing company, meaning he gets his money no matter what. He is very convincing with his presentation and ability to help, but does not accept pay as you go, you must sign up for the plan. I was nervous about it and had I not been referred to him by my physical therapist, I would have never signed up. After signing up, he has you come to an orientation with all of his new clients. This was where I really got the snake oil salesman vibe. He asked everyone in attendance to fill out a card referring people they know to him and asked that everyone write a review for him online. This was before any treatments took place. I didn't refer anyone, nor did I write a review. I thought, ""I'll write one once I've had several treatments and see what the outcome is"". Once I signed up for the plan, as I was leaving the receptionist said, ""it's so gentle, you'll think it's fake."" After 12 visits, I can confirm that for me, it is fake as I have seen no change from seeing Licata nor has my physical therapist seen any changes after my visits from him. Needless to say, they are no longer referring him clients. I must also say, that after my initial ""adjustment"" during my subsequent visits he gave no treatment at all and said I was ""aligned"". The visit was still a part of my treatment plan and yes, it cost $60 of the $2000k to walk in and have him tell me I was aligned that day. I did speak with the receptionist and told her my concerns, let her know I would like to speak with Dr. Licata about receiving a refund for the unused visits and I never got a response. BUYER BEWARE! more

Before starting with Dr. Licata, I was in horrible condition. I was 20 years old, living with chronic Asthma most of my life, chronic joint pains all over my body, and very much over weight at 232lbs. I couldn't workout or do normal activities due to my pains and asthma. All my life I have tried every kind of medicine and many kinds of treatments and nothing ever seemed to work for me. After speaking with Dr. Licata, he said that for my body to heal, it will take time and my dedication to get better, but I will get better. The first time I visited Dr. Licata's offices I had been suffering from continuous twitching in the right side of my neck. ?After my initial visit I noticed a tremendous difference in my neck. Today, the pain has entirely disappeared and I have not felt this great in a very long time.

8 years ago I began to suffer from severe pain in my right hip, knee and leg, could not walk properly and could not go up or down stairs. I was fortunate to meet a friend who told me about Dr. Licata and treatment she received with great success. I went to his clinic and I started treatment immediately. With much surprise the next morning after the first session, I could get out of bed without any problems. Dr Licata has been working with our kids (ages 3 and 5) for the past year and has truly aided in their health and development. I came here looking for alternative care to drugs and surgery for my wrist and shoulder pain. I've been seeing Dr. Licata for about 3 months now and have noticed significant improvement in those areas and an overall improvement in my well being. Dr. Licata is genuinely concerned about his patients and gives everyone 110%. He'll tell you straight out if he can help you or not. The only con I can think of is the cost. As of now he doesn't accept insurance, but as long as your insurance covers chiropractic care you can submit it yourself. more

Dr. Licata, who practices upper cervical chiropractic has produced results that I have not seen from any other chiropractor. I have seen benefits with regards to my stiff neck and shoulders. I have also experienced reduced lower back pain.

I was experiencing severe pain in my hip area and my buttocks on the left side. The condition had reared it s ugly head three years ago, but a year ago had become so painful I finally went to a general chiropractor. The general chiropractor treated it with heat and moisture to no avail. I am now experiencing an almost pain-free day. I have noticed improvements in my eyes and my memory as well. First visit to Dr. Licata I was limping, hunched over, in constant pain and not able to do a lot of things. My body was in horrible condition and being in constant pain made me very irritable. I have been to a chiropractor before that bends and cracks and did get relief but never got to the point where I would have to return maybe once or twice a year, kind of like maintenance on an automobile (a tune up twice a year). With following Dr. Licata's recommendations for my treatments with the exception of missing one adjustment and a small set-back due to a trip that involved sitting on an airplane, taxis, and bus tours, I am no longer limping, hunched over, nor in constant pain. I came to see Dr. Licata because I had chronic neck pain, trouble turning my head, numbness in my left hand, and migraines with regularity. I had these symptoms for YEARS! Before coming to see Dr. Licata, I went to see an orthopedic doctor and he said I was fine. I took Advil regularly and tried exercises. I came to see Dr Licata for my shoulder pain. I could hardly move my left shoulder and I was also getting pains in my neck, back and waist. Dr Licata is someone who listens to his patients. He is patient, respectful, and dedicated to helping you find a solution to your needs. He always saw me as a human being who needed to heal, and not just as a number. And that is why I think he is called to be a doctor. At the beginning of care, I worried that I wasn't getting better fast enough. Of course, all patients want to get better immediately! Years of doctor visits regarding my sore back resulted in little progress. Dr. Licata found scoliosis, which no other did. Relieving stress on my neck has resulted in related improvements in my hips and hamstrings. more

After about 2 1/2 months of treatment I have noticed significant improvement in several areas. Severe head and neck pain are completely gone. Nerve sensations down arms and tingling fingers have stopped. Sleep is much better on a regular basis, and digestion is improved. I have seen some improvement in chronic allergies especially during change in weather pressure and have rarely had to use asthma medicine since starting treatment. I am also much better and handling stress. All these changes are making me feel very positive about my future. more
