I was involved in an accident a couple of years ago. I went to Leif's in Tigaro to do the collision repairs. I thought they did a great job on our Pontiac. A few months ago, the same Pontiac was involved in an accident but this time my wife was a driver. We took it back to Leif's and the car looked brand new. more

Ron at Leif's is very helpful in every aspect. H had the rental company meet me at Leif's so I didn't have to worry about getting a ride when I dropped off my vehicle, which was really nice. We took our brand new Rav4 in to fix some scratches to the Salem store. Ron is one of the most helpful customer service representatives I have ever dealt with. He kept in contact with us and was always available to answer any questions that we had. He helped us get a rental car and when the repairs were completed, helped us return it. He signed us up for the deductible assistance program (which was really helpful.)\r \r I cannot say enough about the professionalism and helpfulness that Ron exhibited. I would highly recommend working with him more

Have you ever admired someone elses car...so shiny, so clean and looking like new? Well, I have and I love my car but at 5 years old, it was looking a little tired. One day, someone hit my car pulling into a parking place. Not that bad but it had to be fixed. Along with that scratch, I had two other areas that needed attention. I had heard great things about LEIFS so they were the first (and only) shop I called. From my first phone call they made it all so easy. I took advantage of all the services. Body repair, complete mechanical service and full detail inside and out! They combined services where they could and saved ME money! Greg Libbey was my Customer Claims Specialist. He was always available and if he was busy he returned my call within minutes. He knew who I was and could easily update me on progress. Always upbeat and positive, he even made sure I had the right kind of loaner car so I didn't miss a beat with my business. My car turned out beautifully! It looks and feels like new and smells wonderful (like new)! What could have been a trying task turned out to be a great experience with new options open to me on maintaining one of my largest investments. So...don't be afraid to get your car looking like new (in & out) to get that ding or scratch taken care of or how about that oil change you've been putting off? Just call LEIFS, they will take good care of you and you'll be glad to have someone you can trust. more

I had an outstanding experience one that will stay with me a while. I met Greg who brought me through the process from beginning to end, from estimate to payment processing and the finished product. I didn't have to worry about anything they took care of all my needs and had my car ready at the day and time promised. The rental was a breeze as well picked up and return at Leif's no extra running here or there.\r \r I was impressed with the planning, preparation and finished product ! I took my car there after hearing his multitude of commercials. They have you sign paperwork just for an estimate which no other shop needs. Soon your car disappears and you are told no insurance adjuster will come on their property and meanwhile your ""loaner car"" is costing you daily. Mine was a rebuilt salvage escort that still had the garbage and the smell in it from the last customer. The Attorney generals office told me they had over 60 active complaints at the time I called. The local news channels want no part of his story because he is big advertising dollars. Willamette Week did a story on him that is still online. Bottom Line: It cost me $3800 in legal fees to get my car out of there hostage held shop. STAY AWAY!!! more

And then its nothing but Lies, Lies, and more Lies.....\r \r This company is the worst...... No issues with the insurance company, Paid 100% no arguments.\r \r So Jennifer walks out and looks at the vehicle, gives a $1,400.00 estimate. I call two weeks later and Gary from liefs agrees to tow the vehicle. Gary calls after its araval and states it will take 10 day to repair. \r \r So 12 days go by and I call to enquire and Im told someone will have to call me back. next morning I get a call from Jennifer and am told it will be 3 weks before the vehicle is ready.....ARE YOU SEROUIS !!! and no they havent started the repairs....\r \r So we argue a little and she says, "" You know we fought very hard for you to get the Insurance company to agree the the cost of repairs"". \r \r Ok so who are you kidding here. \r \r You tell me 10 day on my $1,400 dent, you tow my car to your shop. Its 2 day past the promised delivery date and ""I HAVE TO CALL YOU..."" only to be told it will be three weeks and I should be thanlful because leifs got my ins co to agree to pay for the repairs.. \r \r Talked to my insurance adjuster and he states that he was there everyday the week before they ever had him look at it and there were no issues, he approved it all.\r \r Missed the three week delivery date by four days. so five weeks to do a job that on their estimate and final bill was a total of 14 labor hrs...\r \r Sorry, They dont have a negitive 5 stars for your lies and deceite Leifs.... so I give you one star. \r \r ***** FIVE STARS FOR HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. *****\r \r Go somewhere else for your repairs. more

Horrible! 5/12/2011

This shop is a JOKE! Leif's isn't on YOUR side...he is just on HIS side. If you get an estimate there it is going to be DOUBLE what any other shop is. IF you leave your car there you have to sign a contract that basically says Leif's will do whatever they want to your car and if your insurance company has the balls to stand up to their BS..then YOU will be responsible for the charges. Factory parts means...made in a FACTORY...hello! All parts are made in a factory! They like to capture your car, 'tear it down' and hide it away and not let you have it back under any circumstances....well...under some circumstances, I take that back...if you want to pay crazy thousands of dollars in fees to get your own car back, you can have it back. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this shop! Just Google ""Leif's Willamette Week"" and ""Beaverton Police ask rape victims to come forward"". more

Greedy, Greedy, Greedy. Never go back 4/14/2011

After 2 repair jobs, I will never go back for ANYTHING. Leif's tried so hard to nickel and dime the insurance company on my last accident they took a 1500 estimate and turned it into 6000 when pulling the car apart. They tried to find so many things fix they lost the business. Including things that didn't need replacing. Now they get nothing. They were too greedy, and lost the business. Now when I get my payout from the insurance company I have a 170 deduction due to excess fee's that they charge that are far above the market rate and fee's that are not customary in the industry...""Like Admin Fee's"" Really, now I'm suppose to pay for the secretary work. They do ""OK” not great work, and change up the wassu to do it. Slogan should be “The Greedy of Collision Repair"". Oh, and on a different repair they told me my Car battery was bad and they needed to replace it. I told them I’ve never needed a jump and to please leave it alone…..Today the same battery is working just fine. Greed only gets you so far. more

Fantastic Experience at Leif's! 3/4/2011

I was the victim of a rear-end collision on a Friday in December 2009. I'd never been involved in an accident before and just did a random online search for body shops the next day (Saturday). So happy to discover that Leif's was open and I could come in right away (Tigard location). They even had a rental car ready for me; I didn't have to miss a day of work!\r \r Jen Z. was my rep for the entire process and talked me thru with regular phone calls/updates on progress with my car AND with the culprit's insurance company (I didn't have to deal with them at all). The repairs were done in a very timely fashion and my car looked fantastic - they even did some detail work!\r \r I am quite pleased with the service and attention I received from Leif's Automotive. I signed up for their free Auto Club after that which includes an incredible deal on oil changes. I drive quite a ways to work every day and that certainly comes in handy.\r \r I would recommend Leif's service to anyone looking for quality auto care. more

Best experience possible 2/23/2011

I arrived at Leifs still shaking from my too-close encounter with a parking garage pillar. Greg Libbey calmed me down, explained my options clearly, and guided me through the whole process. The customer area was spacious, immaculate, and quiet - perfect! I learned that by Oregon law, insurance companies must let you choose the repair facility. 4 reasons to choose Leifs. 1. The Deductible Assistance Program - it really helps! 2. The personal service - Greg called on 2 separate occasions while my car was being repaired to let me know the status. 3. They only use new factory OEM parts - they fix your car right, and they warranty the repair for as long as you own the car. The warranty is transferable to the new owner if you sell within 2 years. 4. They had an insurance rental right there, and when I had finished talking with my insurance company, the Hertz rep was there with a contract, so I drove out in the insurance rental - no waiting, no need for a ride to to anywhere else. The most important reason - the people. No pressure whatsoever - just compassionate assistance. They're the best! more

Leif's Service is Outstanding! 2/22/2011

Leif's was great with my truck repair after a collision with a self-insured trucking company. AJ Crandall not only advocated with me and the Adjuster, but made sure I was able to have a diesel truck that fit my 3 car seats and had a towing package so I could continue working and hauling my trailer around. I have worked with insurance adjusters before and AJ really went to bat for me. The trucking company dragged their feet and AJ made sure I could come and get things out of my truck as needed. Got my pick-up back today and it is awesome! It was all washed up and vaccuumed. I will only go to Leif's for any future body work. more

No Grief with Leif! 2/20/2011

It was Friday at 5p and it was date night with my wife and I promised I'd be home on time. My car battery had been acting up for almost a week but I hadn't been able to find the time to get a new one. I realized when I started my car that this would be the last time it would turn over. It made that ""okay one last time"" sound. I called Jen from Leif's in Lake Oswego to see if she knew where I could go and get the battery replaced in 30 minutes! She said I'll call you right back. Five minutes later she called and directed me to Leif's Tigard location. I was met by Dean and a few other people that made me feel like I was their best customer. I enjoyed a nice hot cup of coffee in their lobby and 25 minutes later I was on my way. They won my business and my wife and I had a great date night! Thanks Leif's! more
