Pleasurable Experience 7/15/2010

I want to let you all know how pleasurable my experience was with Leif's in Tigard. I was greeted with polite, upbeat service every time I called or visited. I would highly recommend Leif's to everyone I know who is looking for such service. I will visit again in the future. The crew in Tigard as well as the head person in Lake Oswego wer easy and pleasure to work with. Great service 7/7/2010

I am surprise and have a high appreciation for the service that Leif's provided on several occasions. I say surprise because it is so difficult to encounter true customer service anymore. Every step of our communication has been highly professional yet personable. Leif's truly cares about customer satisfaction. Randy has an exceptional eye for detail and doesn't quit until he is satisfied that he has give 110%. Every detail job I have brought has been executed exceptionally. Very helpful 7/6/2010

I recently was wrongfully ticketed by City Center Parking for parking in front of the Leif's Broadway location. Kevin, who is I believe the manager there at the broadway location, was very helpful in getting the ticket voided. I'm extremely grateful to him for making that effort, and by extensions to Leif's. The experience caused me to go online repair work against insurance companies. I plan to use Leif's in the future for any bodywork I may need and to recommend Leif's to my friends and family. Very pleased Customer! 6/29/2010

During the snow and ice storm we experience in Portland, my 2008 Honda Pilot was hit by a tree limb which dented and scratched my car. I waited until spring to get it repaired just in case another storm might damage more of my car. I took my car to a body shop for an estimate and arranged to have it reparied. However, when the time came for the repair they did not have a loaner car for me and said they would call me when one became available. That was two months ago, and I never have heard back from them. \r \r Thus, when I saw Leif's Auto Collision Centers on TV and looked on the web I was delighted to leran that there was a Lake Oswego location and a gas coupon and assistance with the deductible, and loaner or rental cars on site! How could I go wrong?!! I had such a pleasant experience meeting the Lake Oswego sales representative. It was an immediate affirmation of knowing that I as the customer was truly welcomed! From the start the sales representative told me exactly what would happen to my car, and called me during the process to advise me how it was progressing. She gave me information about cashing the insurance check. I felt well informed throughout the entire process. The sales representative always had a smile in her voice that reassured me. \r \r I feel fortunate that I discovered the difference with Leif's. Thank Leif's for providing such excellent customer service. It is so rare these days in business to be treated with a caring attitude and that the customer really does matter. Great Experience 6/29/2010

I began my relationship with Leif's Auto Collision centers in the summer of 2009. At that time, we showed Leif's a 1968 Mustang in need of restoration. Leif himself, made a home visit and checked out the Mustang. He came up with a plan, and the adventure began. One of my favorite times was the day my wife and I went through the car piece by piece with three Leif staff members deciding which part should stay and what needed to be replaced. We viewed the car a week before we took it home in February 2010. It was restored beyond what we though was possible. Beyond the car, we appreciated Leif's clarity regarding cost and his staff''s talents and warmth. Thank you Leif's for everything and for the new battery! more

The body shop (S.W. 72nd/ Tigard) goes to GREAT lengths to ""stonewall"" the claims adjuster & the customer. This company has raised the bar and does it without missing a beat. In my case, this skill cost me over $1100. out of pocket and the insurance company over $5000. before removing the vehicle to another shop where the work was completed without issue. Best Customer Service 5/28/2009

I took my car in for repair work. This was my 2nd time bringing a vehicle to them and once again they did a fantastic job. Leif's is the only place that I would ever bring my car to for any body damage. They have excellent customer service and are extremely helpful with getting a rental car. They are very hassle free. Wow.. I really like Leif's\r After my accident I looked into Leifs, and when I mentioned them to my insurance co. they really didn't say much. Leif's had a estimate ready for the insurance co to go over the next day. They worked with my ins. co. and came to an agreement right then.\r I really don't see where their efforts to help me to be compensated for my losses did anything but make my repair better.\r My repair went just like I was told it would.\r I think people here just like bashing Leifs. All I know is they did me right and I didn't pay any “extra”. My rental was covered the entire time too, go figure. \r Keep doing it right.\r \r Thanks again more

I'm very pleased how I got some great news last week from the insurance company that was handling with my claim. They agreed to reimburse me for the total cost of my rental car after weeks of frustration and combat! Mark helped me out tremendously. You heard it before 3/23/2009

Insurance companies hate Leifs and Leifs hates Insurance companies and in the end; you pay the price. I went there to get the factory parts which turns out just means parts made in a factory (used, aftermarket or new). I'm glad to see I'm not the only one frustrated. Neither party takes any accountability on the delays, the ""alternative parts"", the remaining balance that the Insurance co wont pay, or the overall bad experience. SHINING EXAMPLE OF TRUE CUSTOMER SERVICE 3/9/2009

I brought my car into Leif's to get my driver side fixed. I decided to go to Leif's after browsing their website. From the minute I walked in the door, Jenn was there to help. She was very thorough with informing me about the process & I felt very taken care of from the beginning. The Lake Oswego location has a Hertz car rental on site, so I was able to get a rental immediately. It ended up taking about 3 weeks to get my car back. Of which, Leif's took only about a week; the rest was due to insurance delays. Jenn remained in contact with me every few days to update me and keep me filled in. \r \r The trouble began when my car rental was submitted to insurance. They stated that only 4days of the 3weeks I had the car would be covered. Their reasoning was that they considered my car as still driveable. Jenn worked tirelessly to get this resolved, and eventually Leif, the owner, took action. Jenn advised me that Leif had been working on this personally & that driving w/out the mirror would be a ticketable offense, and therefore, my car was in fact, NOT driveable. I was ensured that they would not give up and no matter what, I would not pay for this cost. This was done entirely on their volition; neither Jenn nor Leif had a duty to work so hard on my behalf. This is a shining example of true customer service.\r \r Eventually, a month later, I became involved & was able to reach the claim handler. She stated to me that ""most people just look over their shoulder anyway,"" and that she personally never used that mirror. I was amazed that an INSURANCE representative would be telling me this. Don't they advocate safe driving? \r \r After 2 days of Leif, Jenn & I placing call after call, the insurance company stated that they would, after all, pay for the full rental cost. I know it would have been a much longer road, if I were to succeed at all, without the dedicated help of Leif and Jenn at Leif?s Auto Body. AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE 5/6/2008

I WAS VERY EMPRESSED BY THEIR CLEAN, BRITE AND FRIENDLY OFFICE ENVIROMENT.I WAS GREETED BY CINDY WHO WAS THE OFFICE MANAGER AND SHE IS VERY KNOWLEDGABLE AND DIRECTED ME ON HOW TO FILE MY CLAIM.WITHIN 20 MIN A RENTAL CAR PICKED ME UP WHICH SHE ARRANGED AND I FELT COMFORTABLE LEAVING MY CAR IN HER HANDS. I RECIEVED WEEKLY ""UPDATE"" PHONE CALLS FROM LEIFS TO KEEP ME INFORMED. WHEN MY CAR WAS DONE THEY GAVE ME A DETAILED INVOICE AND TAUGHT ME HOW TO READ IT AND EVEN GAVE ME CHOCHOLATE!I HOPE I NEVER HAVE TO USE THEM AGAIN, BUT IF I DO I WONT GO ANYWHERE ELSE. frustrated 2/15/2008

Their craftmanship is very good. I have taken three cars there for work and every time they have done an excellent job on the body work. But this last time, my wife and I were very displeased with how they worked with the insurance company and dealt with their red tape. They do exactly what their ads say, they go to bat for you, but at the exspense of your time and sanity. There policies create more red tape on there side, as well as the insurance companies. Additionally, Leif's office staff is highly understaffed. It might help some if they had additional people to contact and be a liason for you. My insurance company has resorted to sending an adjuster only once a week, because Leif's nickel and dimes everything--parts and labor. This way the adjusters only have to fight Leif's face to face once a week. The adjusters are fed up and this is the procedure that they have resigned to. This means that if your car arrives on Wednesday, and your adjuster comes out on Tuesdays, your car is going to sit there for another week before anything is approved. If there are any changes during the process and the adjuster needs to come out again, well, it could be another week. Our car was there for one month and it was only moderate dent in the hood. Never again--that's all I have to say. My recommedation is to get a list of your insurance company's preferred providers (Leif's not on our list at all) and get recommendations from friends for those on the list.
