After some personal word-of-mouth recommendations from riders with a respectable amount of experience, I recently purchased my first motorcycle from LHY. Michael did a great job working with me throughout the sales process. I was impressed with the selection of bikes and parts, the friendly and professional customer service, and the knowledge of the service center staff. Overall, it was a positive purchasing experience. I'll be back to let their experts service the bike, too! Pros: null Cons: null more

"Bucket Trip" 7/18/2011

My wife and I are on what we call my "Bucket Trip" around the country on our 2005, 30th Annicersary Goldwing. This is a trip that I had planned with a close friend when we first started riding motorcycles at the age of 19 in 1963. Since I am retired and my wife is semi-retired we decided that it was time to make that Journey of a Lifetime happen. Prior to leaving our home in Bremerton, Washington we had our wing, Baby III, serviced at our local dealership (The Brothers) in Bremerton. We came due for our next 4,000 mile servicing shortly before arriving in the greater Atlanta area. I called Lawrenceville Honda this morning, July 18th, and was told to bring Baby right in. The required servicing was completed in short order and every little thing done to Baby was explained to me in as much detail as I could handle. I am very happy with the work done on my motorcycle as well with the personal service provided by Lawrenceville Hohda. Thank you very much. Now if they just could have turned the heat down, it would have been perfect. more

Lawrenceville Honda?yamaha 2/11/2011

Today was my first visit to the Lawrenceville Honda/ Yamaha dealership. I just moved to Winder, Ga from Russellvill, Ar. I was impressed by the display of bikes they have. While I was checking out the parts department. I was shocked to hear a woman from behind the parts wall let loose a flurry of foul expletives. I immediately rushed out with my eight year old in tow. I might expect to hear such vulgarities from another brand of motorcycle shop, but I thought Honda was a family kinda place. Be careful of taking your young impressionable children to this shop. more

Best motorcycle shop in town! 10/7/2010

I've been riding for more than 15 years, started on a used '84 CR60 and some other dirt bikes, and then on to street. My current ride is a '06 CBR1000. This dealer has always taken great care of me. When I was young and my dad would bring me in the people their always treated me like I was important, not just my dad. When I was old enough to buy my own bike they gave me the best price I could find... I even tried to beat it.... For a minute or two I was unhappy when they told me that my old race bike was getting to old for them to work on, but they pointed out that even I had refered to it as my old bike and that the problem wasn't performing the work, but actually that they can't always get every part for an old bike. I thought this was crazy but accepted it and left. I went home and tried to find some parts myself and realized that they were right! I also found other people who had other shops work on there old bikes and it was like going into a hospital and dying there... they never got there bikes fixed because of these impossible to find parts but still had to pay for the work that was done! I am so glad that Lawrenceville Honda Yamaha didn't allow me or them to wind up in that kind of mess. After that I started thinking about the service that they gave me on all the other stuff I've had over the years and realized that they have always done the best they could to make sure I was safe and that my bike ran right. They even made me feel like my dad was still around one day when the service manager "yelled" at me for riding on bald tires. Ok, he didn't actually yell, but he did make me wake up and realize how dangerous my tires were. Recently, I was looking at buying another bike, this time a cruiser. I had already checked around and once again got the best price from them so I went in there the other day and asked for some help tricking it out. The guys in parts took alot of time to help me choose the right backrest and bags and pipes... They even have this cool windscreen measurer to make sure I don't have the wrong height. Needless to say, I signed the papers yesterday and have a beautiful new '09 VTX1300R in my garage which I will happily bring back to Lawrenceville Honda Yamaha for any work I need done on it! If you want to go to a place where the people really care about you, not just your money, this is it. more

Beware 8/2/2010

BEWARE: I have been trying to get a spare key cut for my SuperHawk for about 2 weeks now. The parts department has mis-cut 3 keys and does not care that it has cost my time and fuel driving back and forth each time. Now they are out of blanks and don't have an eta on restocking. They still owe me a replacement. Pros: None Cons: Service techs were nice more

Chattanooga TN has incredible prices and are much friendlier Pros: None Cons: Service techs were nice more

They don't honor quoted or advertised prices 5/6/2010

My husband and I went to look at Goldwings. We were quoted a price for a bike. When we went back a little over a week later, they would no longer honor their price and wanted over $250 more than the original quote!! Very funny considering they have the exact same bike for sale on the web at the price that we were originally quoted. These are not honorable people. As a businesswoman, I would never dishonor a quoted price. We will never deal with them again. My husband and I went to look at Goldwings. We were quoted a price for a bike. Refuse to service older motorcycles 7/18/2009

They claim that they are "too busy" to service older motorcycles, so obviously they do not need your business - go somewhere else. Pros: None Cons: Will not service older motorcycles more

Terrible Customer service, great selection, great prices!!!!!! 3/26/2008

I searched far and wide for the best price on a 2007 Honda CBR 1000. I found that Lawrenceville Honda had the best price and a good selection. I went to visit the location on a couple of occasions. Finally decide to put down a deposit. I later changed my mind and asked for my deposit back. Kenny agreed to give me my money back. Time passed and they only gave me 1/3 of my deposit back. Called back and he said the owner had changed her mind and would not give the rest of my deposit back. They offered me a credit good for one year from date of initial deposit (May 9). Called in February to make sure offer was still valid. I was told Wendy(office manager) would call me back after researching the issue. Waited three days and didn't hear form anyone. So I called back and asked for Wendy. Very rude, impolite, she stated that Kenny no longer works for them, but he stated that my credit was only good until January 30, not May 9 like previously stated. They have good prices, great selection, but they are some very lying, underhanded, and untrustworthy people. After I placed my deposit down. I started hearing alot of horrible stories about the TERRIBLE customer service. I will never do business with them again. I am starting to wonder why my original salesperson or the sales manager no longer work for them. Pros: Selection, Price Cons: Terrible customer service, Terrible customer service, Terrible customer service more
