I have been in the multi family housing industry for 12 years, and have NEVER experienced customer service like the office staff at Laureate. First, the owner of my house is a friend of mine, they were hired simply to make it easier for him. With this being said, there have been SEVERAL times where they have told me something (such as they tried to raise my rent) without even checking with him first. I have been hung up on, spoken to like a child, and treated horribly. \r

In my experience working with owners of apartment communities, they understand that their money comes from their residents when they pay rent. It is 10x more costly to re-rent a unit after a year or less then to just retain the resident for a renewal. These people do not understand this concept. If it weren't for the fact that I know the owner, I would move immediately.\r

No matter how nice the property, location, or owner, I warn you, DO NOT RENT FROM THEM.\r
