Laser Gentle Medical Spa

I don't recommend Laser Gentle , I used a groupon and they suggested another treatment Velashape II that was better for me and more money, so I figured I would go with there suggestion , and it didn't do anything for me . So I DO NOT recommend Laser Gentle Med spa. Save your money and time . more

I recently started going to Laser Gentle to get laser hair removal on a few different areas a few months ago. The results are amazing and very in expensive! i was very nervous but the girl who works on me (Michelle) is great. She is very thorough, very sweet, friendly and will get you anything you need to make the treatment less painful! I told her Im going to send all my friends to see her! Shes very good at explaining things to me and I will continue to see her! Everytime she brings me up to the desk to book my next appointment someone next to me is always requesting her. So that being said If you go to laser gentle for your treatments i recommend asking for Michelle! -Thank you Laser Gentle Staff you guys are great more

I have had laser hair removal several times now on various parts of my body through two different businesses. I would not recommend Laser Gentle to anyone. They are less than professional and don't really seem to care about their customers. They had lost my folder one time but still proceeded to laser me even though it was a new girl doing it I've never met (um...my settings?) I was doing my hairline on the back of my neck and the girl shaved more than I wanted so I had to let that grow in. \r \r The part that really sealed the deal for me was when I had no results and actually the opposite happened. I noticed I was getting dark hairs where I had never had them before and where they had treated. I went to my doctor to confirm I wasn't having a hormonal change. I then set up an appointment with Laser Gentle to discuss the matter. The women agreed that she could see a definite line of dark hair growth (where the laser had gone.) She also said she would not recommend I do laser anymore. She said she would look into a refund. When I called to follow up she said the ""doctors"" (btw doctors are not on site!) said no refund. I asked that she was not giving me a refund even though it didn't work and she said I shouldn't do it anymore because of the effects? She said that was correct but she would be willing to offer me a new area of treatment. Why would I possibly want to to do that?? She said she had only recemmended I do not do it on my face and neck. \r \r Funny...because they had no problem treating me 4 times on my face/neck and taking my money over the course of several months. Do not go here! more

The only bad thing I have to say is that I've never heard any establishment tell the truth about the pain. It hurts like HELL! Don't do this if you can't handle pain. Have them give you a couple free zaps to see if you can handle the pain BEFORE you agree to buy a package of treatments. I have had three treatments from Laser Gentle in Waltham. I also get laser hair removal at Dr. Russo's in Newton and All in One Laser in Newton. With Laser Gentle I am shocked by the results. It's also the least painful out of the three. I get good results with all three places but I'm amazed. I bought 6 treatments from Groupon and I've had three so far. There's barely any hair left. I do always see the same tech and I tip well. Pain tips= klonopin (seriously) taken at least 1 hour before treatment, 800mgs of ibuprofen taken 2 hours before treatment, and during treatment I tense all my muscles to get through it. It's a great work out and the techs all say that I tolerate pain better than most. I will say that this place LOOKS amateur but my results are great and my tech is great. I did a lot of reading reviews before I purchased my Groupon. They don't hustle me for money like some reviewers are saying. In fact I seem to be paying less. I bought the large area groupon and added a medium area in the ""spa"" but they are only charging me for a small area... trust me this medium area is a big medium LOL soooo I'm not experiencing the ""upsell"" hustle that other reviewers are talking about. I do tip well though. They're funny about tips because legally this is a medical treatment and aren't supposed to take tips so I practically have to force it on my tech. more

I purchased a series of bikini laser treatments only to find out that what they consider to be the 'bikini' area is not what most people think of it as. Laser Gentle defines the 'bikini line' as a one inch section at the front and not anywhere else. The procedure literally took 60 seconds. If you want the rest done (like most people) it will cost you extra. On a positive note, I found the staff friendly but will not return as they clearly are making up the rules to suit them. more

Although the environment was very relaxing and inviting, it was not the experience I was hoping for. It seemed as though there were 2 other people booked at the same time as my appointment, and they had 1 employee taking care of everything, phone, clients etc...I'm not sure if this is a usual habit, but it wasn't what I was expecting after spending the amount of money I had on laser treatments. I am what you would call an educated consumer and have had many laser treatments done in numerous places. It was a little less professional than what I'm used to and therefore, I will not return. more

I went to quite a few laser places before I decided to go to Laser Gentle, and I have to say I couldn't be happier. The staff was very friendly and unlike everywhere else they seemed more concerned with my needs rather than making a sale off of me. I've had 3 laser treatments on my underarms so far and have seen a huge improvement already! The only bad part is now I'm addicted :-) more

Recently went into Laser Gentle for a HydraFacial treatment. Saw an immediate improvement in my skin. Very satisfied with the treatment, and plan on going back next month for another. Staff was great too! more

Ana the manager of this spa treated me 4 times and I got more hair in the area treated then ever... when I approached a doctor (ENDOCRINE SPECIALIST) he said this is because the lazer spa has not taken precautions of doing test before signing me up for the lazer package. Ana then refuses to be considerate and help me out in this , in fact hangs up on me every time I call her, nor did she refund me any money from the package I didn't consume. Money is not imp but I don't want to SPOIL MY FACE and have more hair...In short please don't go to her.... GO TO A DOCTOR FIRST get consultation and they will recommend a spa to you Pros: please dont dooo to this spa. Cons: I started getting more hair in the area treated more
